Hi, I trying to update my game but the updater is downloading at less than 20KB/s. But when I redownloaded the game a few hours ago, it downloaded at 1.5MB/s.
My download speed is currently 10MBp/s so the update should be much much faster.
Is there a manual patch somewhere?
Edit: The updater just dropped down to 265B/s.

Sorry but it is photoshoped poorly.
It's a low res jpg, the entire image is insanely pixelated when you blow it up. Just saved it to see for myself.
If you take a gander at the 246/150, it shows the same pixelation. Unless he took the time to photoshop a jigsaw puzzle together, I'd say its pretty legitimate.. though the name "stalkersuitedit" seems a bit odd.

It's like you didn't read anything about the new update. Going to Earth or Pluto with your 'naked' lv30 frame is practically suicide. There're plenty of guides concerning this issue already.
And like the poster above me, play, get new mods, and get back to the fight.
I read the update, on the site and on the forums.. neither were very helpful.
Thanks to everyone who refrained from being this guy.

Sorry if there's similar threads, there are probably a few =\ just wanted to see if I could get a little advice or counselling or something lol.
First, I have to play solo because I have satellite internet and I get disconnected from hosted games.
Just tried to run a couple missions on Earth and Pluto on my supercharged lvl 30 Volt, he went from being a walking lightning bolt to a floppy dead thing on the floor, having a really hard time getting used to the new mod system.
It looks like you equip your skills as mods and enhance them with fusion cores? Also going from 300 shield and 300 hp to 150 shield and 100 hp hurts lol.. Not to mention my weapons seem a bit weaker.
Any tips on how to improve now? Kinda lost... not used to near instant death to Corpus lol
Also wondering if I should get a Wyrm sentinal to help out.
Edit: The upgrade button on all of my weapons is flashing relentlessly o.O how do I kill it?

Grineers seem to stick inbetween the two segments, creating a gap the size of their body, looks cool!

I didn't have to quit, took it about 15 minutes but it fixed itself.

I'm currently trying to find a way to get it to unbreak but I just killed Jackal and got another Rhino part, I was leaving the boss area when the facility was locked down.
I only have access to the boss area, a small room with a couple lockers on one end and the larger room that spawns shockwave moa. None of the panels are active (all dark) and I am unable to hack.
If I bail will I lose my Rhino part?
*Update*
After I tabbed back into the game, a lockdown was announced again and I was finally able to hack.
Second time this has happened.

Pretty sure most people dont miss the upgrade button the first time they level their frames which comes right after their first mission.
Its surprisingly easy to do, especially if you don't look at the market before diving into the game. Also there will be people that choose say.. Loki and die over and over without leveling, then spend all of their plat on revives. Which is exactly what a buddy of mine would have done had I not warned him.
It's not the smartest thing to do but there are people that will do it. The best thing to do is try to prevent it rather than say "tough luck, should've used your platinum more wisely" which happened a good bit during the OB event and I imagine it will happen on a larger scale if the system isn't changed in some way before true Open Beta.
I had to tell my friends how to spend their platinum so they wouldn't make my mistake and find themselves capped, I really shouldn't be required to do that.

Wait..... so the 15 times you went into your ability tree you never once had any sort of inkling to press that upgrade button to see what would happen?
Wait.... so the system that is less intuitive you easily get done within a week but the one with a clear button there is difficult? This is rather strange if do say so.
The starter plat should be only spent on Orokin or slots. I dont know what other "precious" things you are keeping it for.
The starter weapons get replaced quickly, so if you let them start fully charged it will then lead to people complaining that the fully open weapons are a waste because there are better weapons that you can quickly acquire so those free catalyst should not be locked to those weapons, people should be able to choose which 3 weapons they can drop them in.
You see..... i think several steps aheads. So i am arguing something that will come up and not really what is happening now.
Thats you, then there's every one else. You should not assume every one will know what to do and when to do it, DE has already done enough of that with the orokins and wall running. (I love you DE but seriously, drop a few hints once in a while)
The average new comer will come in, get blinded by the white tower tutorial and then choose between 3 frame. Two of which they have no idea how they play aside from skill descriptions.
Then they will see 50 sitting there next to the credits and gradually realize its free cash shop money, they may take a quick look around the market.. or they might dive right in and die a thousand times spending every last plat on the buy revives button.
As for myself, I spent a bit on revives and then I noticed the valentines pallette and bought that. Then I noticed the Orokin system and realized I would be gimped pretty badly if I continued playing. Thats when I switched to my alt account with Volt, now Volt is my main and I just use this account for daily login lotto and posting on the forums.
Though I do agree with your statement on choosing which weapons to charge.

Yep, that happened the first time I used my Dual Heat Swords.
After the first jump attack every motion I made included the blade distortion, after a while it felt like I was a Tron light cycle.

here we go, im about to get hated on, the current system is fine, yes a credit sink would be nice, but making reactors adn catalysts rare and only 20 plat in the market give people a reason to spend money on the game, which supports the development of it, i mean if they make the game too free to play, it could drop like a rock, but its doubtful because i see lots of founders on the forums which means they have plenty for the time being. Still, i feel like they give you a good amount of free/ up to rank 15, and then you need to keep playing if you want to earn one or pay so you can basically play the game on from there without paying another cent.
Its a double edged sword. On one side the company makes more money from people that can afford to bypass the grind, on the other side they may lose potential customers as new players slowly realize everything is capped at rank 15 until they buy an Orokin or farm for days in areas that outrank them (if and when they are lucky enough to get an Orokin BP)
Granted they give 50 plat for free at the moment but not everyone researches every little thing and its entirely possible the 50 plat may go away after beta.

Well you're given 50 plat right off the bat, I used mine to supercharge/pro my starter Warframe, and my Latron since it was so difficult to get any catalyst or reactors back then.
OR you could spend it on 4 weapon slots or two Warframe slots, or 1 reactor and 4 weapon slots.
Like Dark Souls, I find that Warframe gives us (free players) a lot of options, it's just that it's not readily apparent. Some new players might have used up their 50pt for revives, or another unneeded warframe slot (imho of course, I just got my second WF and I'm almost 100 hours in). What they needed was just some guidance, is all.
What if the 50 free plat is a beta only promotion? What then?
I might be wrong on the promo thing but its not uncommon.

Orokins need to be less of a mountain to climb. Edit: Actually I'd be fine if it was just a mountain, right now its not only a mountain but an invisible teleporting mountain with a road that leads straight to it, but that road costs platinum.
I'd like to see them added to the market for credits with an XP lock of some sort, either based on avatar rank or based on the current frame/weapon rank.
As it is, it seems easy enough to just follow alerts and request a party to run with. But there are people that literally can not join any host for various reason, I know its a minority but it shouldn't be ignored.

Are you playing with mutliple accounts/users on one PC?
I have seen this problem when logging into the launcher and then entering a seperate login on the old password screen (you see this when clicking sign out from in-game).
I've also seen similar problem when having the same account logged into to two seperate computers.
Have you by chance done anything similar?

I usually just drop it. Though it vanished the first time I did that, plopped it down on the floor infront of a hallway and *poof*.

I've noticed I can't hack terminals while in "combat mode," the X doesn't show and I have to wait for my character to lower his weapon.
Could this be similar in any way?

I was surprised it let me do it, and was even more surprised when logging out without a pistol completely broke Warframe lol.

I'm not sure if it would be my connection since I downloaded the game with steam at 1.5MB/s and then the updater decided to crawl. You're probably right about the patch server, I remember in early beta it used to get bogged down for a few days after an update.
Still wish there was a manual patch option lol.
