No, you will not be, at all.

    100% worst endgame addition ever

Anyone remember when Steve on stream said New War will be for vets?

This happened when Rebecca asked about Railjack being for Mr28s

Your talking about individual events and are suggesting someone doesnt understand the game mechanics because they weren't playing during those events? Sorry but that's  a ridiculous comment to make. Those timed events do not dictate if a player knows how to play the game.

I'm responding directly to your comment stating:

Assuming you are, and I disagree. The year you started does not determine if someone is a veteran.

My comment earlier included, " If they have been here since 2013+ I guess you can call them "Veterans"".

Knowing game mechanics is another portion. If you understood gas faction setups/exponential dipping (to the third power etc...) prior to Gas's changes, you would have a great understanding of game mechanics. Like how berserker functions differently than %attackspeedincrease mods etc... Little things that help you build more efficiently deteremines your understanding with building mechanics/game mechanics. The flow of the community, such as what made Warframe Warframe is the other portion (people who lived through these events) is another portion.

I should have made my comment more clear as to what it is directed to, apologies.

Not sure if this was targeted at my comment or not?

Assuming you are, and I disagree. The year you started does not determine if someone is a veteran. The amount you have played and amount you have experienced in the game (trying out various frames, weapons etc)  is a far better indicator.

And the bit about not understanding mechanics, I didnt mention this or any particular content creator so I'm not going to argue this point

I disagree, you would not have experienced a majority of the game operations and how world events operated. That is what made Warframe fun back in the day with quests following up afterwards. The entire community worked to unlock Phobos during a operation, i'll never forget that feeling. Without this experience you would not be able to understand why some players feel most everything past like 2017 has felt mundane or super short lived. Tyl Regor's quest line actually had a massive community operation to stop cloning facilities prior to the Natah quest I believe. It all just fit into place where your individual Tenno contributed with the many. To not have experienced those events would leave you with a misunderstanding of what Warframe was.

  4. ^^ NOpe! I disagree entirely. If they have been here since 2013+ I guess you can call them "Veterans" but I don't think they understand how the certain abilities, calculations etc... operate. They just hear something and repeat it. This can cause targeting of the wrong thing, ruining something that did not need to be changed.

A crossover is the placement of two or more otherwise discrete fictional characters, settings, or universes into the context of a single story. They can arise from legal agreements between the relevant copyright holders, unauthorized efforts by fans or common corporate ownership.

A crossover would be characters like Marvel and DC, cross saving is something different.

Confusing, not sure what you are aiming to get across by quoting him.

  6. If you have an issue with moderator strikes inform a digital extreme member via support.

Secondly,a majority of this is you saying "Don't delete my post lol".

Finally, you threatened someone with a report, what made you think to do that man?

If I were you, i'd delete your topic right now, this is drama lama 101.

Ironically, if they can get squad link working, it'll probably enable just that. 'Co-op' without the actual, y'know, working together in the same mission thing.

this is a joke system imo ^^ This is basically the illusionment of running two different missions and "interacting" together when in fact at no point in the mission does someone flip a switch to get you through a certain door or disable an enemy etc...

Maybe a nerf is needed. No on scarlet spear but lich missions spawn lv75 sentients. The difference between them and grineer enemies is just ridiculous. They are like a lv3 or 4 lich

You are just a beginning player, there are many ways to kill level 75s-200+ with ease and no deaths by yourself and with a squad.

In the Scarlet Spear event, once the Battalysts get to a certain level their laser beam attack seems to one shot just about everyone no matter who they are. I am usually Frost for the event and even with all 3 Umbral Mods on him I still seem to die in one or two hits from the laser beam attack which really makes fighting the Battalysts not fun. I shouldn't be dying so quickly when I have over 900 armor, over 900 HP, and Tau resistance from the 3 Umbral mods.

You need to be able to combat these attacks with a defensive teammate or defensive arcanes etc...

In this weeks "devstream" they said they are aiming for next week, if they are happy enough with the balance and overal state of the event after the next wave of hotfixes.

Steve also said they will extend the event some time, to compensate for this first bad week I assume.

Legit exploits are just contagion on ground team.

I'm not a founder, but I've been seeing a lot of founders lately as of late when I, like, I got into a mission with 2 of them, and like the next foir pubs at least had 1.And seeing it over and over again, excalibur prime really needs a graphics update compared to umbra or other modern prime farms, it is not easy on the eyes.

I started playing this game many years ago, stopped playing at some point, then came back. Took a break sometimes. I feel like taking a break now, but I am convinced that if I do, I will not come back this time.

So why do I feel like taking a break?

I am severely burned out on farming: I had to kill almost 30 liches until I got the weapon I wanted - with 28% damage. I got it up to 60% by now. I farmed all of Railjack and the Shedu, but I still don't have any of the relevant equipment for Railjack (and the Shedu got nerfed) - No Munitions Vortex, no Void Hole, no big reactor, no big health mod.

Anything I invest time in eventually becomes useless:

    • 21 Magus Lockdown, I'd definitely have gotten something else had I known what would happen to it.
    • Rivens, I have one that I rolled over 60 times to get the desired stat high enough - now that stat has become entirely pointless. I am just banking hundreds of thousands of Kuva with no desire to waste it.
    • Weapons, 2 of my Archguns do nothing in Railjack, the third got nerfed by 50%. Many, many melee weapons I cherished for a long time got butchered by changes to stances, status, by balancing or by bugs that will never get fixed. I had a rivened Catchmoon and Tigris Prime. Weapons modded for gas, explosive weapons.

Recent updates have been nothing but disappointment: Liches are no nemesis, they are grind for weapons and Ephemera. Railjack is a single exterminate mission to grind, with no rewards. Scarlet Spear is grind with rewards blocked by bugs.

And why will I not come back?

Arcanes are the only thing I still need in this game. I stopped doing Eidolons when I had almost all the focus stuff, got sick of it. Scarlet Spear is the only chance I get to grab a full Arcane Energize. Skipping this event is giving up.

And I feel it is the right thing to do.

7 year fan myself, I run a large community in Warframe. I said, “depending on how New War goes, I’ll decide if we’ll stay.” The first part of New War, Scarlet Spear is looking grim.

  13. I agree with permanent content additions, other games do release content every three to four months (lots of it). However, I just feel Warframe is too small to do something like permanent additions. They are just too slow and scatter brained when it comes to focusing on new content. Usually it is "we'll create this content then focus on this content and then this content all at the same time." I have a feeling that is why scarlet spear, railjack, and liches were a mess is because their workforce had split up working on all of them at once. That is my only problem with them trying permanent additions.

    What's the actual suggestion here?

My suggestion is to provide content that we can expect not something that is overhyped then released. Other games do “expansions” de would do expansions but reskin them in the form of nightwave, operations, and raids. This would provide a stable expectation for future content + global interaction between all Tenno to prevent some catastrophic event (everyone feels like they are working to achieve something). I did state that if any had any other ideas besides nw, operations, and trials please post your ideas.

I don’t think this company can do anything that is not repetitive reskinned grind. That is the reasoning for my suggestions.
