    I've got it, we tested the patch before the hotfix and it seemed to work differently. Currently gas double dips now 😕 I'm aware on how it works, lots of testing since last posts, apologies Tenno! run that electric damage imo for aoe stacking with a viral booster

    mainline is a mess, you don't want it till gas and impact are fixed.

    Coronavirus is silly imo

    De will probably drop the update much later than announced (maybe next week or this week potentially).

    Gas is dead. Forget about it. No more double dipping with faction damage mods, no more stealth multiplied bonuses, no more toxic damage that circumvents shields /is good vs armor ... It consistently underperforms and falls flat no matter what target you choose. Too bad cause it was always this almost hidden gem damage type that relatively few ppl knew about.


     

    triple dipping, it still double dips but is garbo.

    Also don't forget electric damage.

    Really depressing imo.

    Accuracy changes are awesome! Much respect!

    I feel that the damage system has become so simple that it takes the fun out of the game.

    Viral ele/rad/heat/slash combos are essentially right now.

    I'd advise removing/changing base damage mods like serration/heavycal/point blank and lowering viral's boosted damage to enemies.

    This will make building more diverse again imo. (balance your elements Digital Extremes to the point that the best thing to run is weaknesses that give increased damage. Example: rad having a 75% increase on alloy armor).

    I do! You can triple dip with white procs, gas proc (as it is now gas not toxin placeholder) and finally AoE proc from magnetic and viral (the damage boost). I can test it out again and record if you'd like 🙂

    This is true as it now scales with all weapon damage mods. (excluding ele and cold mods).

    Add that the attaque that proc impact inflict immediately 80% of its damage as additional impact damage.

    Make that it also increase taken damage :

    "The first Puncture Status Effect has an enemy deal 30% less Damage and take 30% more damage. Subsequent Puncture Status add +5%, leading to up to 75% (capped) less damage deal and more damage taken. Each Puncture Status has a duration of 6 Seconds."

    (even with full stack, it would increase less the damage than the first stack of viral. but the 30-75% would also work on shield.) 

     

    Blast : "Grants the Blast Status Effect a single target. Blast Status reduces enemy accuracy by 30% base. Subsequent Blast Status Effects add +5% inaccuracy for  for 75% total at 10 stacks. Each Blast Status has a 6 second Duration."

    Make that the attack that proc Blast deal 20% of its damage to all other target in 7 meter radius, and also apply the accuracy reduction to them. 

    Puncture benefits the enemies not you imo

  9. Lets face it, we’re all guessing on what truly is the strongest damage composition. I think it would benefit many players if the equations and formula were released.

    So far here is what I hear while surfing Warframe discord’s and the forums:

    Viral heat for top damage

    Viral Rad for 75% increase damage late game

    viral electric for aoe + new white aoe damage + new viral effects

     

    I have no way of knowing if any of this is true or not without getting fingers dirty (give me formulas please)

  10. I feel like i'm cheating when I play this game now.

    The new enemies have become far weaker than they were before, I can run viral with any combination/damage type and kill fully armored nox in 1-3 hits with no combo multiplier... 

    That is something to be concerned about! At least setup level 1-300 missions for more difficulty with health/shields/armor changes for Tenno and enemies!

    Right now the problem is it is tier based, those arcanes are for younger players via nightwave etc.. We need reforms towards arcane as a whole.

    Oh we've acknowledge it, I have refused to play until new content drops (I didn't even log on for primed chamber, no need when melee still exists).

  13. From my observation, average players truly don’t know how to mod for maximum damage, for new content this is becoming more and more necessary.

    The old argument is to state players don’t need to minmax for damage to play the game. This is a halftruth, players will need to start minmaxing as many many struggle to obliterate ship invaders on railjack when it should take one melee swing to clean them all up. Furthermore, it should also be noted New War enemies are becoming increasingly harder for the average player. These are all examples of the average player getting “worse” in your viewpoint.

    If this does not sway you, let the public squads of Railjack be an example, players don’t do anything productive for your team or even communicate. This is the result of years of holding hands + spoonfed content

    He is just a troll that has no clue about the game, this is proven from various facts in this thread like (let me paraphrase) There are other frames that are better at Index than Revenant.

    I believe with the amount of Bias against that frame in this thread and many more threads prior (I have heard people complain about him before).

    That Revenant is clearly fine, as many people provide supporting evidence against his statements that are either undone in his mind with how he views the frame, or outright raged at. (DE doesn't need anymore evidence to not change this frame as it is in a great position already).

    The % heath drain to one shot enemeis is ultimately completely useless as it is a slow af set up that easily gets outpaced and outperformed by Damage abilities and guns. But if you want to wait 5 hours for those things to start falling off enough in a survival to finally get some use out of the health drain that’s on you.

    Mesmer grants 100% DR. You get shot, it consumes a charge, you take no damage. It does not reflect status procs back at the enemies, and if you’re milking yourself with self damage weapons you just need to git gud.

    Mesmer Skins stun actively anti-synergizes with Danse Macabre. As Danse has a scaling mechanic that requires enemies to actively be shooting at him, and Mesmer Skin actively prevents that.

    How are you playing the Hostile Mergers event? If you mean the disruption game mode there are several far better frames than Revenant.

    If you have Magus lockdown why do you think you need Enthrall for CC? Why do you think Enthrall is good CC to begin with? Just cast Danse and kill everything around you. It’s far more effective that enthralling an enemy that’s just going to be shot dead in the next 2 seconds.

    Maybe if people stopped treating trash frames like they’re good I’d stop being sassy and rude. But that’s clearly nowhere close to happening so it looks like I’ll be continuing. 

     

    1. Health drain is extremely effective against higher end unit gameplay such as New War sentients (Anomaly clearing right now)

    2. It does not, it technically is not considered damage reduction just damage negation, I don't use launchers/self harming weapons, not into that stuff.

    3. Danse is 100% a S#&$ ability agreed.

    4. When I did hostile mergers with him from prior experience, yes you could oberon smite the enemy with a couple other frames for 100k+ scoring.

    5. enthrall for other units, in higher levels magus lockdown begins to lose its effect after multiple usages for team play.

    6. Your last argument clearly gives away that you hold radical opposition against this frame, I refuse to argue with your bias opinions and lack of usage and evidence, it is clear with more than double the amount of years you have been playing this game (I've been here for them all and run a teaching community), that you are just all talk Tenno.

    I agree Enthrall can be considered useless unless you hit those level 300+ levels.

    Although star chart does not contain any of these levels (yet).

    Enthrall frost eximi for crowd control for your team and reave synergy is about as useful as it gets.

    Mesmer Skin is over rated trash. 100% DR doesn’t matter much when it’s tied to a charges based defense skill that gets shredded through like wet paper towel.     You clearly don't know how to play revenant,

    You can clear sentient ship so fast and groupings of battalyst level 155+ with enthrall + reave. (1 cast + counter-clockwise spinning)

    Reave does total % health damage ^^

    Mesmer skin DOES NOT GRANT 100% dr, it grants the reflection of status chances and prevention of death.

    Mesmer skin also requires the enemy to hit you while you move around secondly, mesmer skin stuns the opponent.

    From a technical perspective I can see where you get this from but from someone who runs Revenant daily and through the hostile mergers event to get 30-40k score caps...

    It is extremely useful, especially when you just use magus lockdown to recast safely and pads to sustain.

    Enthrall can enthrall frost eximi grant you crowd control.

    Please don't be sassy and rude if you don't even know what you are talking about.

    For is 4 it is the same, I can wipe level 300 units (tested during operation) very quickly.

    I've incorporated weapon damage, crowd control, sustaining mesmer skin with a careful eye in arbys, and finally enthrall for unkillable tank units.
