  1. There was less content but I liked the old content better. The focus used to be on adding more content as frequently as possible. There used to be new weapons weekly. If not new weapons then new warframes or tilesets. New content arrived at least 4 times as frequently as it does now.

The game used to be WAAYYYYYYY less cheezy than it is now. The enemies were much better. The atmosphere was better. The levels were navigable.

I honestly liked starmap v1, stamina v1, mods v1, and melee v1 better than the current systems.

That said, I still find the current game very enjoyable.

  2. More hitscan weapons. I'm getting tired of missing stuff because of varying projectile speeds.

    Throwing axes

    Small dual hammers

    Hammer and shield

    Puncture knuckles

    Throwing balls (jai alai style)

    Railguns

    Flaming arrows

Heavy chains (a whip, made out of chainlinks)

    Captain America style throwing shield

There are about 10 items in the game that need Cryotic to any extent. Frost parts and alt helmets take up 5. The Tonkor is one, Saryn Prime, Formorian disruptors which you don't have to do very often and only take 100, I think Frost Prime parts and technically Chroma. That isn't much compared to any other resources. Maybe Nitain because it's new and Control modules, but that's it.

Which is fine, unless you've been playing the game since day 1 and have no reason to farm those things. I'd prefer to spend the 30 minutes I have per day available for gaming to farm syndicate XP or DO MISSIONS I ACTUALLY ENJOY, not farm things.

    You forgot:

Counting how much Cryotic you already have (ZERO)

You can farm Cryotic while farming any other resource (INCORRECT)

This really doesn't have to be done all at once (SO? IT'S STILL THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME REQUIRED)

Cryotic is barely used in anything in the game, you should have a stockpile (INCORRECT)

I didn't forget it. I have zero other cryotic, because several recent items all required it for crafting. Also, I HATE extraction missions, which are the main way to get cryotic. I wouldn't mind 40k nearly as much if there were better ways to obtain it.

  5. 40,000 / 100 cryotic per extractor = 400 extractors
    400 extractors * 100 seconds each extractor = 40,000 seconds
    40,000 seconds / 60 seconds per minute = 667 minutes
667 minutes / 60  minutes per hour = 11.2 hours to farm the cryotic
11.2 hours * 1.25 (queuing up, running between extractors, can't always get enough power cores) = 13.9 hours.

14 HOURS OF NOT HAVING FUN just to farm this item!* That is way too much!

*7 hours if you use a booster. 3.5 if you are lucky enough to use a booster on a double resource weekend. Less if you can get multiple people to run an extractor at the same time. If you enjoy extractor missions then you might be having fun.

Inaros is good, but it's hard to use him for certain types of missions at high levels. Long survival missions are difficult because you have to hold still to regen his health using the second ability. While you're regenning health, people are shooting at you and reducing your health. The higher level the mission, the more your health goes down while they shoot at you. At some point you're losing more than you gain.

Well something was damaging me while I devoured enemies. It might be a bug, but it's a frequent one I can't seem to get away from.

I don't know if you realize this but "I object to the resource cost" and "here take my money" are very conflicting messages.

If anything it would just show that this sort of resource cost and difficulty encourages cash shop sales.

My point is that normally I don't mind buying a weapon. I refuse to buy a weapon I couldn't fairly farm.

  9. It's an artificial paywall. There is no way I'm doing that many excavation missions just to get the weapon. That means my only option is to buy one. This is the first weapon I will refuse to buy because you made the crafting requirements too high. I've been playing and paying since issue 6, and this is the first time that happened. Congratulations, you finally broke me.
