  1. I don't like the Corpus defense tileset that much but I can live with it. What I do like to see though is that same tileset deleted for a proper Railjack version with a real defense/escort against waves of ships.
  2. Aegrit. It is so satisfying when you toss it and remotely detonate it at the right time for maximum effect. It just destroys with the right build. Innodem. A dagger I have been addicted to since Kullervo arrived.
  3. Partly because I got tired of Path of Exiles' constant cycling of leagues and got pushed to look for a decent grinding game that doesn't dump all your loot after every reset. Then I saw someone on Twitch doing an Eidolon hunt with other players and got sold right away. I barely play PoE after that.
  4. I am sure you are trying very hard (even with bold letters) to make it sound like what you assume will definitely happen but who can really tell? DE doesn't sound like they need assumptions right now. Let it run and I seriously doubt any harm will come to any player at all. This is a game like any, paying customers will drop the game no matter how good/bad it is if they aren't built for it.
  5. Personal opinion. If hardcore WF players believe in the "gripping story " of the game so much that it is a must to go through and experience, I don't get what is stopping a P2S player from backtracking and discovering it in any order if it even comes to that point. They will make the effort or not and that's about it. I don't specifically know in what financial status DE is in right now but making a proposition like this sounds desperate. Worrisome players who frown at the future, "worthiness" or the tendency of a p2s customer to just drop off eventually because of not investing in the story/grind as they did are the least noise they should be hearing if the game is breathing through a respirator. DE should just prioritize what's important and get a rational P2S scheme going because the player base will just go about their business as usual in the end.
  6. I've been with these developers for so long that I think they very well know when it is time to decide how to finance and boost player numbers in this very competitive market. Nothing too big of a deal will happen if done anyway other than a few children hurt for wanting everyone else to suffer the grind in this game's unnaturally long existence. I can't imagine starting this game now with its woeful waiting time for the foundry to build just about everything that is core to advancing. Not to mention the gargantuan, repetitive slog you have to go through that can test anyone's patience to keep up. After I experienced firsthand how I enjoyed this game for years at almost no cost, necessity rather than greed is what I see for this errant move. So, Tencent's influence or not, I think DE deserves and has every right to do what is best for the longevity of this game.
  7. I am a total nut WF player, but there are so many triple AAA games I can buy with that same amount. It is quite an easy decision.
  8. The process of getting them is long-winded until the new ones can be bought with plat. With that in mind, I don't think all deserve the work behind their activation. Some stood out like Burston, Strun, and Atomos but I admit that I use them barely and gravitate back to my usual non-incarnon weapon favourites. Even with the old Incarnons, I was not really a fan and found the whole headshot thing tiresome and fiddly. When they do get activated, most just run out quickly. Then you are tasked to repeat the whole sequence again just to have their barely advantageous Incarnon form (mostly AoE) effects. It is amusing at first, but definitely not crucial in most situations we are accustomed to in WF. I still do collect them for the purpose of finding out a diamond in the rough, but that's about it.
  9. This happened to me on 2/6 of normal missions at Duviri Experience so even before I fought Orowyrm. You should consider investigating it too.
  10. Platinum and pay to skip works. I'll just wait and trade while waiting for the prices to come out.
  11. I liked Burston Prime, but the whole headshot or combos + heavy attack on melee Incarnon to activate them feels forced to me at times. Just give me a Tenet Envoy on Mirages mirrors and I am happier.
  12. I may be guilty of some but this game needs less whiny players in the forums.
  13. Some lucky frequent choices that I auto pick Titania P - Void flood master, easy decree fragments/marrow finder, hits great with the right decrees Saryn P - why not Baruuk P - survivability, fun crowd-punching kills strong on defence objectives Mirage P - with Legerdemain when load-out choices are not so good, Mirrors build when I see a strong primary or secondary and best with an OP melee weapon Nova P - slow CC, IF and that is a big IF, I see the team with so-so WF and weapon load outs
  14. Personally, It is too hasty to sell things just to improve chances on a mode that I pretty much have no problem doing even with poor load outs. The decision to stay relies solely on me so I am always in control when choices are bad. Most of the time any four-man squad (even less) handles SP surprisingly well. Sometimes relying on one weapon each or just a WF that can CC for the whole team is enough. Looking at those reasons, I rarely backed out of any run. Anyway, I doubt anyone in DE will encourage players not to buy more slots with a ridiculous notion that RNG improves with a slimmed-down arsenal.
  15. Randomness has its merits. I wished for it happening but I always imagined it to be drawn from owned arsenal not something like Veldt, Ampu, Sonicor, fusilai, non-nrime weapons I used as fodder and deleted. I don't mind it though, but for a beginner it must be helpless sometimes to go through with default mods on bad weapons and even worst for WF. With Warframes, even with my current four choices per run at SP, I always get primes and tend to gravitate to key primes like Titania, Saryn, Mesa, Legerdemain Mirage, discharge Volt or my fave Baruuk. So many runs now and one of them somehow always shows up so I can exploit the content and carry even the most dysfunctional pub. So, not so random then in the end, just a reason for any member who is unlucky to leave, cause migrations or bug a run. Not their fault though, just that no one has any fun being useless after being forced to choose among trash loadouts. In addition, the introduction of stacking decrees to make things easier is just bloat content to fool us into thinking we can only rely on tons of them to succeed. So nvm loadouts cause RNG wins and we are happier eventhough the lengrh of runs increased three fold with just a paltry sum of key resources to show for.
  16. I play a lot of Battetech these days, it is uncanny that the turn-based melee physics there is a lot like it.
