  1. There is nothing more to it. I get downed, the sentinel starts to revive, stops and then I die.
  2. Why am I forced to keep manual notes for trivial things in this game? Why is there a stupendous amount of that? There’s ridiculous amounts of things you have to memorize beyond gameplay, mods, weapons, frames and gear jost to play the game. Why does the Simaris target info not state where you get the target since there’s literally just one viable location per target type? Why does the game not state which nodes on which planets have not been cleared yet? Why do I have to check the wiki every time I want to get some weapon etc. to find out which missions actually drop the parts instead of the game stating something vague that is pretty much exactly as helpful as “just play the game”? And so on. Why is the player forced to do menial tasks that are not done in game? It should be obvious that a game like this is about playing the game and now that is not clear at all. Now it seems that half of my free time has to go for various stat sheets or to memorizing almost irrelevant “fun facts” just so that there’s something I can use as a reference when I need to get something done that is not as straightforward as play any mission. Why is this thing deliberately designed in such a way?
  3. The point is that I do not want to dedicate time for this. I want my scans, yes, but I want to get them while I play the game doing other stuff.
  4. Is there a way to force hosting or not spawning after the mission has started without going solo or going through the hassle of formibg a group manually? I’m doing scans and as you know, those do not appear unless you start the mission at the same time the host does. This is irritating and while I get that this is not an actual problem but rather just a quality of life issue, I’d still like to know if I have missed something that could help with this.
  5. Apparently no. Thanks. I thought that it would be there regardless.
  6. Duviri puzzle orb searching was just one example. There have been many in the history of the game and many exist even now. I just wish they’d remove the pointless parts of the game, things that don’t do anything but have to be suffered through anyway.
  7. I agree. My point still stands. Pointless menial tasks are pointless. No and yes.
  8. No. My issue is that the disks/orbs exist in the game in many forms and there should be none. They serve no purpose. Also your comparisons do not work because the other things are built so that all their parts serve a purpose. 👍🏻
  9. The node is gone. Is this by design or a bug? If this was intentional where do I farm Dagath now?
  10. In your opinion, is it possible to make this exploration go too far? Let’s say that before every mission you would have to do something like playing the game’s instruments for an hour? This would never happen but lets pretend that it would. Would that be too much and make the experience less enjoyable to the point of you wishing they’d drop the pointles prepping that makes no difference other than it takes time for no reason?
  11. Do you think that changing something that does not work is a good thing unless it’s made worse? If your answer is ”yes” then we agree. It is that simple. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Sure. Does not apply here but you are correct.
  12. In this particular game the grown up way to do it would be letting people play the game, all of it, without making them do pointless tasks before they can start. The juvenile way to do it is to hide the task critical tools and not give any clues. DE loves the later part.
  13. Good for you. I don’t think that we talk about the same thing though. The keys would be the symbols under the owl, right? That is the fun part. What is not fun is trying to find the power orbs before you can actually do the puzzle. But that is just an example of things that I think should be removed from the game. True. I just wish that I could access the fun without suffering first.
  14. Fillers are fine. I was not talking sbout them. if they have the senior devs that have grown have moved on and the current people are not there yet. I don’t know what you expect as an example. I laser focused on an example which was a specific part of one task found in one game mode. The point of the post was specifically that and other things like it that serve no purpose in the game other than to make people walk away from those things.
  15. The actual puzzles are fine. K-drive races are also fine. The difference between these 2 is that the races do not force you to go for a treasure hunt with zero clues before you get to race. Things like this treasure hunt are pointless. The puzzles and the races are just content.
  16. They are allowed to. It’s just that I was never a good target for bullies or mobs. I just do not care about them. If they could they would prove me wrong. They can’t. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I never said that the puzzles were a problem. I like them too. I just do not like to do things that serve no purpose other than devs forcing me to do it before I can get to interact with the content.
  17. Yes and they serve a purpose. I used the puzzles just as an example and made very clear that the puzzles themselves are not the problem but rarher the stuff you have to do before you csn start solving them, specifically searching for the orbs. There are plenty of such tasks in the game, none of which provide any value.
  18. the thing I am talking about has nothing to do with world building. Other than that I agree.
  19. All this is true. I am not against variety. I don’t like Khal missions either but those are just fine, separate game mode with its own rules. A cool idea, not for me and that’s fine. Those however are not what I was talking about. I don’g have to like everything in the game. I just want to try things without losing my enjoyment of the game because there is some thing that gets in the way without having any sort of actual point.
  20. Yes. Sounds about right. Like I said, I think that these things are cool. The un ecessary hoops are still just juvenile. 🤷🏼‍♂️
  21. I get that you are a fan and feel hurt because someone points out a flaw in a thing that you love. That is fine. That being said, while it is certainly true that there has to be stuff to do to keep things interesting, there should not be pointless tasks that you are forced to suffer through so that you can start playing the game. Imagine that you would have to make a 10 minute handstand before you can start a basic mission, for literally no other reason than to make you jump through a hoop. I think that that would be pointless and should be removed from the game, just like any other such pointless tasks.
  22. Sure. I also remember grinding equinox. 31 runs and I was extremely lucky to get it. That being said, these are the nature of the game. The whole thing is built on grind. Trying to find a power core so that you can even start to solve the puzzle is an example of pointless tedium, one of many.
  23. True. That’s not the point either. Like I said, the game has a lot of things you have to endure before you get to do the fun parts and none of these are useful or fun. I used the 1 part of the puzzle just as an example.
  24. True and I will. There’s no clues in these. This is not about the puzzle itself. The point is that the game has many pointless hoops players have to jump through that are explicitly detrimental to the fun.
  25. Generally in Warframe getting to know the environment is done by mining, gathering plants etc. for building tools These puzzles are not that. These are extra for interior cosmetics. These are done for fun and nothing else. The fun is ruined by bad design. I get it. You did not get the point. That’s fine.
