I like Dagath. I play her like a battlemage, casting spells and swinging my Sancti at things. I'd even say I like her more than Voruna right now and I seriously loved that frame for her playstyle but I dunno... Dagath just hits different with me. Plus it's always nice to not have to switch out her kit for a helminth ability. Sure it'd be beneficial in most builds I suspect, but I find she does pretty great with her kit right now. I'm not a big honse fan though, it's a good fit for her but I could have done without it personally. But that's my only complaint, minor as it is. I build her for armor but I can totally see why people build her for shield gating with her spammy powers. I just like armor. Overall solid frame for me! It's pretty rare that I click with frames, shame I couldn't click with the newest one despite being totally my thing. For now though: Dagath is for me!

I feel the opposite. I feel like the Warframes doing the best it's done in a long while. I've felt this way since Angels of Zariman! Sure, it's not been a perfect ride, and there are valid critical points made about changes and some of the directions taken, but for me I've enjoyed a lot of it and that's enough.

That's fair I guess? I would have thought it'd behave something similar to Overshields. It's just flat extra health then with no extra bonuses or resistances? A bit lame since don't Overshields get the same benefits of the % reduction that normal shields have? (I think it's 25%?) That's good at least.

Not exactly... I'm "FAIRLY" sure that none (or at least very few) of the ranged Incarnons descriptions tell you what they do once they are in their Incarnon form. Which is a bit strange when some of the melee Incarnons tell you about extra things they do when they are in their Incarnon form! (Ack & Brunt and it's spectral axes) I'd say your safe bet is to find a video with it. :( Probably better to do that anyway, least you can see for yourself if you're going to like using it or not.

Yeah.. I'm not really seeing it. I had a good look at it, and I honestly can't see what you're getting at. Not saying you're wrong! It's totally plausible that they could have done that instead of making an actual Warframe and not put the asset to waste. I'm just not seeing it with this particular suit. :(

You got a build you use for Soma you can share? or a recommendation? I never felt like I got that much power out of it.

I actually really like the Magistar right now! It's really niche IMHO but it just feels really nice to use. I like really big hammers and maces. Quite enjoyable to spam healing pulses a little faster too. Wasn't overly too impressed with Ack & Brunt but it's okay!

It would be quite funny watching Yareli swing a heavy weapon like a sword or hammer on Merulina like in some kind of cavalry charge. Or an archgun! It's just secondaries right? ( I haven't used Yareli yet ) Total shame they haven't added in others. :(

I decided to try something very silly and used the shards to turn Nekros into melee tank. And gotta be said, I'm enjoying it far more than I thought I would. I used 4 blues to beef up his armor, health, and then some energy to free up a mod slot. I also chucked on a yellow for increased effectiveness of health orbs but I'm not sure I'm really getting that much out of it? I might change that to casting speed. Also, I dumped on a full set of Umbrial for more health, armor and power strength to go with Blind Rage, Primed Continuity for duration, and of course, Despoil, Equilibrium, and Shield of Shadows. For Arcanes, I'm using blessing because I like the extra health, but I think it could be swapped out for something else? I'm not sure what that would compliment the build a bit more... Molt Augmented? or Molt Reconstruct? I'm also using Arcane Guardian to beef up his armor a bit more, but I totally plan to switch to Arcane Reaper once I maxed it out... that's taking a long time aha. The health regen plus armor on kill is very nice even at just rank 2 and I find it a lot more consistent than Guardian. For helmirith, I'm using Nourish as it gives far too many benefits for Nekros to pass up. Not only is the energy gain super useful, but the buffs also apply to your shadows, boosting their damage and allowing them to spread viral like crazy. The increase in damage and viral procs lets them chew through even heavily armoured enemies without major effort or even armor strip. It's a stupid build for Nekros and completely goes against what typically is considered "best?" for him. But I think it shows off how great Shards can be used to completely go against the grain and allow you to make something really out there build wise, and make it work! I do not think this would even remotely work without Shards. I use this build nearly everywhere now. Steel Path, Liches/Sisters, Nearly all mission types, Railjack, even Archon fights where normally I'd get shredded! Now I can face tank the Archon with little worry when everything is going!

So using it as a starting point? Makes sense, iron out the basics in the Durivi and expand on it heavily for Soulframe? That's what you mean right?

It's really sad honestly. Almost embarrassing... They are just proving me right nearly every single time now. I hope they take a break cause this ain't healthy. On topic slightly though: despite the... well, you know who. the discussion here has actually opened my eye to some things. Not all I agree with, but for sure parts I can't really ignore going into Soulframes gameplay. I don't agree with the comparison to Souls-like games though I can totally see where it's been got from... I think it's really easy to paint over a game as a soulslike if only a couple of elements are similar. I can see why it's said, but I still don't think it's correct and that's fine. That said, I wasn't totally convinced that Durivi was a prototype for Soulframe till a few people pointed some key details and I really can't say it isn't now. it certainly feels like a testing ground and I'm not exactly sure that's a good thing?

Pretty much why I stopped listening to Felsagger. Even got to the point of ignoring. I really don't WANT to do that! I want to listen to everyone sides or takes on something, even if I fundamentally disagree with it or if I'm in the wrong about it, I don't want to put myself in a echo chamber. But with Fels... nearly every topic I see with them on, dies off, or just has the same 3 people just going at it and nothing really productive gets said. This topic actually started off great! Till Fels came along on another crusade and ruining it with these almost insane arguments that get more deranged each time. They very rarely add anything and I really don't like this "holier than thou" attitude they take with someone even slightly disagrees. I'm saddened that it's come to that, but just throwing them on the ignore list was the best choice. You can probably add "Slightly Delusional" on the list too... Thinking I'm a alt account, dear lord.

I would prefer bug fixes/QoL changes, for a lot of things, but I can understand why DE has to attempt both. Newer content has always been buggy, but it certainly feels less so then previous big releases? And I'm seeing more general bug fixes here and there since Angels?
