    Well, no, gravity is applying 0.11~5g on most planets (assuming orokin terraformed the otherwise not-possible-to-even-have-bases-on planets to have even relatively functional for infrastructure conditions). That should be essentially a speeding train or amusement park attraction worth of force at most trying to accelerate the weapon (and frame) downwards. The fact that the frame only loses around 1/3rd of its airtime/directional inertia with them with no effect on the actual jump, so the gravimag is more than sufficient to compensate for gforces in effect.

    Actual realistic view: DE knows they would spaghetti up the code back when they made the mistake of making ground AW guns different from regular AW guns (and stealth nerfed those) thus why bother with the mess when AW is either way only used as a means of transport.

    Thank you for admitting youre completely wrong and seem to have run out of arguments other than outright making feces and fantasies up that have nothing to do with berserkers not valkyr nor the fact that she doesnt need a rework, merely 1 pull strengths reversed and 4 nerfs undone to not encourage cowardice via optimization of gameloop (something reverse of her norse berserker and valkyrie theme).

    Valkyr has no problems with DPS tho (44k base, circa 120k on stance or 386k if you go with old school slide spam, all of which is close to very peak of non-outlier melee in terms of damage and we assume no gladiator mod statstick which unlike regular melee she can use without sacrificing a immortal pet/vacuum with which it does outright compete with low end of outliers like the kronen prime with SO), so where the repo case do you imagine that idea from?  Or did you mean AOE? In which case not only is she a melee frame so her AOE is from cleave for which 4.7-6m depending on which attack from her stance we are talking about is a respectable average, but also that DPS doesnt mean that much like how norse myth and berserkers dont mean marvel, celts and the opera.

    What Valkitty has problems with usability because she got hit with shortsighted nerfhammers and pre bullet jump movement nerfs without that being undone as the game progressed. A functional combustion engine much like a by idea and mechanical baseline kit (1 that pulls enemies to your melee range or lets you move around faster, 2 to buff and slow enemies, 3 that opens to finishers and 4 as invul berserk state that poses risks if your survival if dont kill enough) doesnt become outdated just because the tires are flat and transmission stuck (1 working in reverse with a intentional momentum kill 1/3rd in on you instead of on enemy, 2 not being recastable, 3 in maybe some need for a buff like enemy grouping as its augment was on original release and 4 needing the entire energy drain removed for flat hp cost that ramps with damage stored and can be cleansed with finishers or delayed with kills.

    TLDR: Valkyr just needs the Nezha treatment, not random pointless renames or shields stuck to her.

    No. Hilda, again, is a correct and good fit by actually being themed after a shield bearing figure (that in the og version of the story happens to be a valkyrie) with good theming because she is surprise surprise whose kit revolves about upkeeping her shield value to use for abilities and protecting allies.

    VALKYRIES DIDNT HAVE ANY SPECIFIC TIE TO SHIELD AND SPEAR COMBO (idk the reason why you keep using marvel of all things as a example despite them managing to get every relation of the aesir wrong), THEY ARENT THE (weirdly enough even more fictional) SHIELDMAIDENS.

    Trumpet, Dagger, Axe, two other types of axes, another dagger or shortsword depending on what example you use, yes a shield, also a spear, but then too fire, gold/loot, chains, just god damn drinking cups, etc  all different things individual valkyries were adorned with to battlefields as death in war representing psychopomps.
    Going with the fighting bare handed bloodlust to cover the battlefield is no less valid than going with the appearance of the 3 valkyries that set the appearance for opears as they come from a already play structured story, in fact if anything its more valid because Brunhilde isnt the (depending on again what sources you count, but at least) 25+ other valkyries, but valkyries are the direct servants of the god of Berserkers.

    If you wanna keep being salty that a Berserker frame has a decently accurate norse name to her, ok, but point stands all she actually needs is undoing shortsighted nerfs (making 1 pull strength proper with no momentum kill on self and enemy landing infront of you instead of 50 rooms behind you, 4 not having energy cost but small with time in 4 static hp cost that only increases as the stored damage increases which you should be lifesteal away) and proper modernization tweaks (recast on warcry maybe more titanfall physics after the 1 gets its momentum fixed, paralysis having a baseline grouping effect with the augment altered, etc).

     

    TLDR: No. Valkyr just needs the Nezha treatment.

    Her 3 is fine, even if it could have a grouping effect even baseline without the knockdown, as its a decent very cheap aoe finisher opener, her 1 just needs pull strengths reversed so that it pulls enemy to your melee and doesnt kill your momentum.

    No because she is Valkyr. If you want another frame and have no clue about valkyries either and then also confusing multiple tropes from film and opera with the royal book and eddas is also on you. Her kit works it just needs updating and as said multiple times, 1 made so that it doesnt hinder but improve mobility fully (it was already soft improved by allowing the momentum kill to not be a hard lock/aim keeps it going) and 4 claws made to not encourage cowardice via their secondary mechanics as invul berserker already thematically perfect.

    Her current state is essentially the pre rework Nezha only with extra bad reputation since so few people play her.
    But much like pre to post rework nezha lots of very little tweaks that futureproof and remove (nerf caused) jank from the mechanical side of a solid kit would still leave you with a solid kit, only actually playable without having to adapt to shortsighted (nerf) design jank (and the 1 pull not being full actually a consequence of modern warframe speeds having been deemed as "too fast" in the pre/not-yet meta coptering era as even here on the forums you can still dig up posts saying her 1 self pull is too strong and others lamenting how its more snappy, responsive, momentum keeping form was nerfed/became watered down to effectively worthless other than mega low level damage).

    No, no and extra no. Only a minority of them had a spear or shield (only one both), most valkyries carried a symbolic item related to war in norse myth. You are the one pushing a nonesense french angle to it. And Freya doesnt even have anything to do with valkyries in all of the primary traditions (unless you define every norse god that gets a cut of the dead as a valkyrie in which case congratulations, Hel, Loki, Tyr, Wullar, etc and even Baldr are now valkyries as dead go through the places they influence or rule). She is literally described on site as a berserker so unless DE wishes to remake her model into a him and rename the then him into something like Beowulf or Skallagrim there isnt that much more of a fitting name you can give her.

    Not to mention that Nidus was the 1st warframe in the lore (prior to Umbra's quest retconning that) or that Limbo is a being all on his own(making his Prime variant basically be a retcon of the lore in of itself)

    Dark sector is/was from start ambiguous in its relation to warframe (infestation in its non-rampage form clearly being technocyte and even refered to as such in game).
    Nidus wasnt ever the first frame, not even in his quest (and not in general since Excal prime was since release the first in canon frame and still is as part of the founder packs, with umbra having nothing to do with the first frames as it happens after the war already escalated to hunhows active stage so being not just post primes but post clone frames being used on the field already).

    And nothing will change with his prime as long as his appearance on low mutation stacks isnt big infested mass/maybe abilities given gold spikes and more uniformity to fit prime controlled technocyte.

And how the hell would it make any sense for solaris people to be melded into golems? Unless you dont mean valkyr lore but some "post-copy-already" story like with the Leverian plots.

    Except it objectively isnt just as Zephyrs tailwind, difference is zephyrs momentum (forcing) issue was 98% fixed while valkittys momentum (kill) issue was untouched from a era that modern movement is foreign to.

    No. Hilda only got the 2/29~35 name (and one is not even name, but nickname of brunhilda and the second one is a girl that ascended to the position and was honored to battle) connection to valkyries and nothing else and to be fair so does (no innate melee, no divine protection, no buff that makes others go victory hungry, not even a weird skald song that makes people bleed from their lower body holes and especially no murder crazy ragnarok maid and psychopomp). And while the spear (well sharp runestaff) is odins signature/favored weapon there is outright more valkyries fighting with blade (which in context could be sword or axe, tho likely axe), hands/pro wrestling if it were real and even just biting enemies than using a shield and spear as thats more of a opera decoration (same as wings on back and angel wings on helmet, taken from rome and christianity) since valkyries carried just aspects of combat with them, be it a weapon or shield, but also other stuff like loot/gold, fire, chains, armor, runes, wands, mortar & pestle, etc if described and not in disguise setting a scene or assisting the sagas hero. Even the ripped apart back is thematic as for where the blood eagle as a idea originates.

    However just baseline as said she doesnt need a rework just fixes to be futureproofed for updates and multiple frames have little to do with their name, valkyr actually being among the exceptions as fusing berserkers into valkyries isnt hard as valkyries were already described almost as such (remove mortal bit and implication of using drugs to ignore wounds but raw blessing and runes of odin).

    Ripline is held back as a map speedup by the fact that it kills your pull momentum much like how old wu cloud was slow as #*!%.
    Warcry is solid other than maybe getting a small buff like baseline recast or its slow being turned into a aura
    Paralysis can have some grouping/part of augment baked in while the aug itself gets tweaked but whatever, cone finisher opener for pennies is ok especially if you could get a good benefit/sych off the finisher. And Hysteria even in its current form is 80 times better than half of wudongs kit/the non afk and rush through mission faster bits, but sadly it encourages and supports the opposite of its name and her title.
    And her non-primes lore and drop are hard locked to zanuka so no, makes negative sense to be from fortuna.

    P.S. valkyrie doesnt mean nor is even related to the idea of shieldmaiden unless we limit it to post Kaiserreich writing. In norse myth they are selective psychopomps, air superiority cavalry (often covered in blood) and maids; by having the funny job to keep in check, bring drink and ready clothes for fallen heroes (and Odin) when not preparing for the twilight of the gods.

    Unless you wanna call the male vikings shieldbachelors.

    2 months late but just to note for the thread, its not utility, its anti-utility.
    It actively makes his 1 and 4 worse at the same time because shadow cycling becomes desynched, any creature killed with his 1 when at cap doesnt join the shadow pool AND its best use for the trashxecute is reverse of its better scaling cc (up close knockdown vs group, ranged yeet vs priority target as cc being inverse to any gameloop that tries to actively use 1 for shadows or heal as in that case you would want to separate the weak enemies away from the shadow targets first) to the point that you're better off completely ceasing to use 1 at all.

    No. Valkyr is currently a good frame hidden behind some 5 fixes (mostly ripline having its pull strengths reversed so that it actually pulls you instead of killing momentum 1/3rd in and instead killing momentum of enemies it pulls when they are close to you with a small vacuum effect on her if DE refuses to do non-physics pulls) along with undoing nerfs to her 4 by instead making it a invul version of A2 berserk mode, you know, to encourage the berserker to actually berserk and kill enemies or suffer the hp cost instead of the ability being a dumb cowardice encouraging toggle cheese fest that isnt even efficient.

    Passive gives 0.5% lifesteal to self and same amount divided across allies in Desecrate or vs feared enemies

    Soul Punch just deals % max hp true damage (and tips notes explain knockback/knockdown depends on proximity and elevation) instead of anti-synergy trashxecute

    Terrify slows default to not annoy allies and has a resistance reduction as augment

    Desecrate initial cast cost removed (its 10 energy cost to activate is the only actual hard downside energy version for farm has compared to despoil)

    Shadows have UI in arsenal letting you select priority and AI type for all units (since it already has a priority table in game, just not one players can tweak)
    OR replaced with exalted GIANT SCYTHE that just has a defensive (damage/lifesteal building halo/iron skin like technocyte ward that decays) and a minion augment (killed enemies raise as current shadows, but uncapped)

    It is additive. you dont get 4 drops from a pilfer+desecrate, you get base drop+1 potential drop from desecrate and+1 from pilfer tentacles.
    What isnt is loot chance (all abilities+drop chance boosters of both resource and mod/endo variety) vs loot amount (aka only the bought resource booster).

    Not to mention that DE already """Fixed""" need for loot abilities because a entire category of """extra drops""" doesnt work with them, issue is DE balances drops badly (at least based on general population outcry with release steel path even if IMO for what it was supposed to be vs what it actually ended up being now og version where nothing influenced the drops but how long you're willing to go was actually good for the "test your build on walls of enemies that EXPLICITLY arent end game").

    He could be in a amazing/ideal state even from just gameloop with minor tweaks since all of the core stuff is there.

    Passive turned to universal lifesteal within relatively short range (same idea, but proactive instead of win more)
    Instead of trash execute, % max hp damage on soul punch that always dismembers, maybe the knockdown/knockback part turned into a augment that further buffs the damage as most people seem to really have issues for some reason with understanding that it depends on elevation and proximity to enemy; or if they are right infront of a wall in which case just reposition so that one isnt flanking with the wall; with DE equally refusing to add the info to nekros hints)
    Terrify slowing baseline while augment gives the damage amp
    Desecrate dividing the passive up between all allies in range and its activation energy cost removed/only per corpse cost
    Shadows of the Dead given a mandachord style ui that lets players select shadow priority and their AI type to suit playstyles 
    (or plain replaced by a exalted massive scythe with 2 augments; one for reaper form/fake decaying hp that gives full halo/iron skin like cc protection; another to return SOTD concept as he summon shadows with no decay of each creature he kills during exalted scythe time when he ends the cast/cancels it)

    He is. His entire kit was fun (to me) before the trashxecute was added, with it its merely down to 3/4.

So, before SP trashxecute nerf, the actual point of 1 was its range variable cc portion, at range or higher elevation you ragdoll high priority threats, up close you knockdown for melee control (and why i really wish DE listened to the test feedback, to give him instead a reliable ability scaling damage on SP). Terrify needs to just have its augment baked in and armor strip instead placed on augment and buffed to be a resistance strip (full applicable aka to all types not just hp like atlas petrify); however thats more because terrify hinders allies gameloop options rather than bonepapa himself (its a fear from point, not "fear from nekros", thus absolutely no impact on nekros himself as he already wants 60%+ slash or innate dismember heavy weapons which are melee or close range except for dread, akstis miter and panthera).

    Personally the bigger issue with his passive for me is that its win more with no real benefit when desecrate already does that job while also enabling more modding options, id rather see it it be "damage dealt to enemies in 10m of nekros has 0.5% lifesteal (for all tenno)".

    Augment to replace SotD into Deaths Reaper form would be great too; or even better as you noted replacement for SotD with SotD then being the augment option to spawn them on kill while in reaper form or in place of it.
