I've noticed this too. Also, on some Frames they need to be re-positioned. For example, on Ivara they are too far out to the sides, and you see that lovely big blob that's usually hidden inside the leg.

I took a close look at the two. There is one pose that, while similar, is mirrored in them, and they both incorporate a two-handed 'windmill' move after that, but they are different animations, simply sharing a similar pose and a similar motion that follows it.

The easiest way would just be to re-skin the Void's exploding containers. (And buff their damage, wink wink.)
But damn, I love the idea of Infested Mimics. Hilarious, AND infuriating! -
Okay, linked a video, though I dunno how to make it show on the forums. Thanks for the suggestion!
I gotya' covered, thanks a lot for going through the effort, it really streamlines the whole process!
P.S. In future if you want to show a video on the forums, use;

Or
[ video ]LINK[ /video ]
Without the spaces.

I certainly would, if I knew how. I've never done any recording before.
A lot of people use a program called Bandicam, or if you're on an NVidia system, you can use Shadowplay, which comes with GeForce Experience, to record gameplay. Normally you just start up the program, look for the hotkey they list, then press it once you're in game to record, and again to stop. The footage will be saved somewhere, (It might be quite a big file, it helps if you turn off audio recording, which some programs allow), and then you just upload it to a video server like Youtube, and link it here.
-
For those of us who don't have it, would you mind recording some footage? It always helps speed up discussion and potentially fixing.

That cant slow you down (While crouching actually does). Its supposed to trigger only when you press [aim] near corner while standing still. If you move (w/s/a/d pressed) it will not trigger.
It will ease shooting from both sides of any cover. Player will never have to change "aiming shoulder" since it will just swap automatically.
I see it as very solid QOL improvement. Coz I actually use cover and stealth... Instead of invisibility and invincibility.
The problem is that it creates a very big area for glitches to show up. Whenever a character in a game has to 'latch onto' something for the sake of fulfilling an animation requirement or something of that ilk, there are always a hilarious amount of bugs wherein the positioning is off, for example;
The character plays the animation but is in a different spot,
The player struggles to get into the right place for the scripting to trigger,
The game unlocks the third gate, and becomes sentient.
My point is, that though you might consider it a quality of life boost, it's not quite.. I'm hesitant to say 'worth it', because I don't want to de-value your opinion, but the work that would go into it would cost time and money that could be used on higher-priority features/fixes.

I could never forget Volt! Frost is just an always easier target to bring up with his majestic ninja-space-duster-coat.
I tried to make Hek fries, but they came out soggy.
DID YOU THINK IT WOULD BE THIS GREASYRIP my sides.

It's been discussed before. Things like Trinity's Skirt, Valkyr-G's tail, generally things that come with the frame as part of it's original design, won't be cosmetic options, because they are part of the core of that frame's concept. Things that are added later are generally optional, but not the base stuff.
Praise Mynki and love the tail. -
All I can say is that they definitely wouldn't redesign Excalibur, however if you're looking for something fresh there's always the Proto Skin, and I'm sure we'll see a design for his "Premium" skin sooner or later. I just know that's going to be insaaaane.

Thread title edited to be more in line with the rules of this sub.

Would you be able to provide some footage of this to show what you mean for those who can't quite picture it in their head or don't have the weapons in question to check for themselves?
It'd also streamline the process of DE looking into the issue. -
It's been said before, but until such time as they can get bounding boxes not to freak the ever-loving mama out, it's much easier and it looks better to just not have them for things like capes and syandana's. I still remember when syandana's were first introduced.. The twitching...

These issues fall under the category of "Parts of the original Warframe won't be remove-able, because they were designed to incorporate them."
See also: Trinity's lobster tail and Banshee's slippers. -
The texture seam on her shoulder is definitely not intended, but I can't speak for different parts of her body having different responses to the chosen colour, since other frames exhibit that as well.
-
Would you be able to take a screenshot or a recording for those of us who don't have Equinox? It might also help the Devs a little.
-
To help along with the process of fixing this, maybe we can discuss a few ideas that the Devs could possibly consider using?
For example, the simplest would be the Glaive treatment: Shrink it when it's stowed to avoid intersections, and scale it up to it's original size when it's equipped.
Another option might be having it's 'stowed' position further up the arm, however this could cause it to look a little comical if it juts out from the elbow, and it might then also intersect with other parts of the Warframe during other animations.
Those are just the two off the top of my head. Can anyone else come up with a more elegant solution? -
I'm not the boss, just the janitor. I do my business/say my piece, and go back to lurking.

An interesting thought might be a Specularity slider for Warframes. Incorporate an alpha channel into the Spec input, and let us choose how matte or glossy the material looks. I'm not sure how easy that would go over in the Evolution Engine, but it's a lot space-friendlier than a duplicate "Legacy" model of every Warframe.
