  1. This mode is difficulty for the sake of difficulty so not sure fun was ever part of the plan. No buffs, only debuffs and fortified enemies. As far as roguelikes go this is about the most unfair I've ever seen (maybe I've only played the good ones though).

You can argue it's still doable but why bother? Also pass.

  2. I would enjoy randomized gear if said gear had a realistic shot at doing the missions. Circuit was actually fun the times you got good decrees to make up for all the garbage. This time we have nothing to balance the negatives so at least for me this mode gets a hard pass.

Nothing is locked behind it anyways so maybe it's intended to be only for a very small minority even among LR 3 players. /shrugs

  3. There is a map on the wiki listing possible spawn locations, finding 3 of them isn't THAT bad unless you are dead set on finding 3 in the same game.

I completed the nightwave mission by checking the castle town (bottom left) and exiting as soon as I was done where, took three games before I was done.

  4. Softlocked once for me but floated away several more times, seems to happen more often in some rooms (the one with 4 entrances, a low path in middle and extendable bridge across seems to be much more prone than others).

Only solution that's halfway reliable is pack enough punch to kill it before it starts floating away or go for coffee/tea while waiting for it to get back down. Archons are old content and enemy behaviour is one of the things that's never been improved (if anything floater/flyer pathing has become worse) so I don't expect any fixes.

  5. Almost ruined a doable Circuit run when I was stupid enough to ignore picking a melee weapon and the game automatically picked a glaive, wasn't able to properly use my only good weapon (an incarnon pistol).

Since I don't main glaives I'm not sure if they ever functioned properly (always been more or less broken every time I've used them) and auto-melee is somehow responsible for the latest issue but maybe it's time to drop the special treatment (make equipping glaives exclusive) or bind both throw and detonate to the same melee button and reserve alternate fire to firearms only when using glaives?

  6. Turn off bloom completely, I've yet to see any positive effects of having it on. Bigger reason for the brightness may be that the Primary color channel on the Nova Atomica skin can get really bright. I'd make that dark and play around with the other channels instead:

I do like the idea of lighting options for the orbiter though, or at least ways to "fly" the ship to other locales than the last mission you entered (with whatever ambient light they have).

  7. Definitely Citrine, not sure if it's ugly or nightmare fuel though.

Lots of ugly frames I can use and not be bothered with: Octavia, Nova deluxe skin (legs and back of head), Khora Prime, Zephyr deluxe skin (that jacket) and then a long list of frames with strange proportions (all the wobbly legs and crosshair blocking protrusions).

  8. By triggering the glitch again it's possible to fix the issue.

Use the heavy attack button in either operator or warframe at the same time as you transfer and you are very likely to trigger the glitch (just spam both buttons until you get what you want), while the glitch is active it sometimes gets fixed if you trigger it again. That is unless you trigger it in the other form instead, the whole thing is VERY janky.

I'm assuming the last grasp glitch has the same underlying reason as when you manually trigger it and can be fixed in the same way.

  9. Trick to area defense is to not kill everything instantly, focus on enemies in close to the center and only kill as many as needed for 100%. The % is going to go down quickly from all the enemies still flying in (or stuck in caves) so better to have targets available and give new ones more time to reach you. Archwing can be used to get a better view and enemies seem more motivated to find you while airborne.

Frame doesn't really matter, if anything Mesa kills stuff too quickly so you have a greater chance of encountering bad spawns. I use Loki even when solo to avoid frustration with the Drone Escort, have yet to fail even a single Area Defense (although I've sometimes lost the bonus).

I'm still glad there is almost no reason to do the bounties, feels like all the difficulty comes from small annoyances that tends to pile up on the plains.

  10. My issue with auto-vaulting is that the auto part, make it part of walljumping so it only activates if jump is used at the correct timing as a final leap over the edge. Add an option for automatic action but I see no reason to keep it mandatory for everyone.

It's easy enough to avoid (to the point I consider every ledge grab a failure of maneuvering and lost time) but surely there are better ways to try player skill?

Then there's the bouncy movement (from jumping mid mantle-animation) and operator double mantle bugs that increase frustration but these are separate issues.

  11. I stopped using them.

They aren't good enough to make me use a less optimal frame and probability of rolling one of my main ones is too low to bother checking the chair. The material cost is also barrier enough for me to not burn through 10 useless invigorations to get one free choice.

If the random frame in an Archon hunt was a useful one I suppose I could use the override to double buff it but anything short of that just doesn't feel worth the hassle.

  12. I would immediately drop the Soma and Gorgon, those got shafted (imo) with their Incarnon modules. Soma even got double stomped, lost it's best perk in a patch meant to buff it.

I like the Boar the most but I also have a soft spot for the Boltor and Braton (about equally good with my Rivens and nice to use).

  13. The Boar is ok, has useful perks in all slots and with a good Riven it becomes a beast. I class it up there with Burston, Latron etc.

I used it against this weeks Archon with great results and didn't even bother to optimize loadout for the mission (Ran up to boss with Loki and blasted it's face off).

  14. Risk of failing made me extract from Circuit long before any challenge presented itself, if this is how it's intended to be played I want no more to do with it. It was very dull to play but by the time things got interesting the risk of failure (and losing a good chunk of time/progress) made it impossible to have any fun.

Allowing us to keep progress regardless of how last round ended would hugely improve the experience, mad runs just to see how far one got with whatever trash equipment RNG granted could be lots of fun.

As it is now Circuit (and Duviri by extension) is abandoned by me.

  15. Broken mechs only exist in one of the cycles (think it's when red guy is up and blue debris is on the ground), the other cycle has live ones running around.

Could be wrong, ages since I bothered to check.
