Im a fan of spacesim games too. RJ controls are pretty decent for a gunship. Its about as good as X3. RJ could become awesome if they were to add depth to the space part. The sectors could be made bigger, and the missions could become more dynamic. We should be able to just fly, explore and mine. I wouldnt mind if they added a way to divert power from shields to guns to engines too.

Yes! That what i was thinking when i first saw RJ. But this game mode really needs its own dev team full time to be good.

I'm looking forward to both Nightwave and Deadlock. I doubt there's much they can do that will bring me back to Railjack. I tried it, wanted to like it but it was so far off the mark from what it was hyped to be that no amount of hot fixes or minor updates is going to make it something I want to play. I'm not sure what they could do at this point to get me to play it anymore than I absolutely have to. I don't like space combat games, I tried to like RJ, and while I'm sure it wasn't the worst of the breed, I'm struggling to come up with anything so much worse that makes RJ look good. Sorry DE, I'll give you a bronze star for effort, but it tanked. Just admit it and move on.

Btw as a fan of space sim games, i'll tell you they did a decent job at RJ controls. But warframe is not a space sim. It should be separate game.

I take it it never took you 2 years to get a Vauban.. or a cosmetic for a side frame you don't use much. The only advantage that had is that we had a mission to click on to direct us to a full party a few times a day.. I can think of absolutely no advantage to the previous system otherwise, unless you happen to Prefer things being impossible to get for literal months on end.

Actually i did get Vauban and all the cosmetics using old system, i'm no fan of battle pass type systems. I like to pick and choose how and when i play. Old system was good at it. If i see mission i like, and rewards are good, il go for it otherwise i just go and do something else. With new system you need to do things you don't like and do them now, otherwise you'll miss out forever.

  4. Railjack Revised: A little step forward. Still wish DE reduced or even get rid of grind and randomness.

Deadlock Protocol: Don't really care. The way i see it. Old tile sets are fine, just add new ones along side of them

Glassmaker: DONT CARE. Nightwave system as a whole was a bad idea. Old alerts were way better system that just needed some rewards tuning.

Eidolons are some of the most fun content in the entire game. Dulling the fights down would just waste their potential. Everything doesn't need to be so goddamn easy. There are numerous guides on how to fight them if you don't want to figure them out by yourself. Staying close to the boss is a mechanic preventing you from just sniping it 400 meters away. Knock back attacks can be easily avoided with your operator. People doing 6x3 hunts aren't getting knocked down by a single attack. You can also spend your Warframe's exilus slot to prevent knockdowns 100%. You'll lose 15% power strength at most.

The only thing I would want to see gone is the day/night cycle. Let us fight them any time we want.

I'm not saying they should be easy. All i'm saying fights should be readable. Like second Orb or ropalolyst. Those two fights are perfect. Every stage is visualizing what you need to do, ether by clear animations or target points. That's how i want to do Eidolon, instead of going into operator and back, checking is it time to switch. Frantically looking where that mess, that devs call boss model, hid next weak point, etc.

  6. Eidolon fights are a mess.

    * First of all - day and night cycle in Eidolon hunting got to go. Bounties should be available at all times.

    * No one knows what to do and when during the fight. There is no good indication what to do and when. Is it so hard to indicate clearly indicate where i should shoot and with what? It's not challenging to fight him, it's frustrating.

    * Charged lures should follow Eidolon when they latch onto it. Really, you fighting boss, having fun and then... Hey! Look! lures are somewhere out there, cos boss moved. It's frustrating.

    * Knock back attack is the worst part of that fight. Why does it launches player 1000m from Eidolon? Is it fun in your book DE - to run to your target every few seconds?

Overall this is most frustrating boss fight in the history of gaming. Even dark souls had better indication what to do and when.

PS I know, DE wont do anything to make their game fun again. I just had to vent, cos i did not wanted involve myself in Eidolon mess when they came out. I figured, il wait till DE make it more streamlined fight. But here i am, few years later, and nothing has changed. I sure wish DE would stop making new games inside warframe and start fixing and streamlining old content/

Self Damage should never have been removed. Even if they just tweaked the builds that were benifitting it. My amp staggering my operator whenever I don't have a volt in the group for eidolon hunts is just terrible.

I'd rather be more cautious with explosive weapons than be forced to equip all my warframes with primed sure footed.

I disagree with you. Self damage was worst thing that happened to warframe. Its removal is what brought me back to the game. Yes knock back is annoying and dose not serve any purpose in grand scheme of thing, but removing self damage was a good idea.

i get that, then why don't they remove it from the clans that cannot obtain it?

Because when that event was launched DE was all about players, right now DE is all about selling plat.

Case and point - if you go to trade chat now and try to ask for flamethrower of friendship for 15 min, you'l get zero replays. If you ask to buy one, you'l get replayed instantly. And guess who selling plat.

Curious I just read they are also refunding mats and creds... Because they want more players to play?

Objectively Railjack is still a mess. DE still has A LOT of work to do. Someone should really tell DE that lowering the cost to play a mess doesn't make it any less of a mess. Or in other words, you can roll a dog turd in powdered sugar but that don't make it a jelly donut.

Well you said it yourself. It's a mess. And first step is to begin somewhere. Why not at getting players into game mode?

I hope DE continues to work on it and next step would be decreasing all the grind in that game mode.

"Warframe community is friendly" they said. And yet I get harassed on a regular basis for being mr28 and using things that people don't consider to be meta, such as a buffer Saryn instead of the typical spore spam.

Well excuse me Tim for having found something more enjoyable to play than what is the current meta. You would be correct in saying that it is not as effective as the meta, but fek you Tim I like it. You don't see me judging low mr players for not dishing out the most damage and kills, what gives you the right to judge me?

    /vent

Warframe community is toxic. If you want proof - just suggest adding auction house or removing self damage. You'l get full warehouse of toxic barrels in few seconds.
