  1. - Skip seems okay in principal. - If implemented, skip should be free. - Options to Co-op story mode with people that have completed up to Whispers in the Walls would be better. - Reducing grind and craft times on lower MR gear would be better. - Increasing drop rates or altering drop tables would be better.
  2. - You shouldn't be taxed to play with a friend after being recruited by a friend. If you want to offer a skip on the story up to Whispers in the Wall I think it should only be allowed for people that have used the "Recruit a friend" scheme and are under MR3. And it should be 100% free. Asking for payment after someone has added to the player base for you is beyond cheek. It seems greedy. And to be honest smells like something Tencent would concoct. Surely the idea of getting a player in, throwing them a life saver of an option and getting them engaged with the community through their friend is the way. After that they're likely to make plat purchases themselves without pressure because they are invested. Making them pay up front allows for more of a chance of buyers remorse, or the feeling that they were shook down merely for wanting to try something new - a "Free to play" game none the less. Bad experiences lead to bad feelings ( I feel like Robocop in Robocop 2 just typing that...) and those people will be more vocal in their hate and entitlement. Why? Because they've paid their money and feel they can do whatever they want. Paying customer after all. And honestly I feel that's why WF has done so well. Platinum purchases, of which I've made a few - always made me feel like I was saying thank you for such a great game. The game is free to play and I always sorta felt like I was robbing you. Such a great game and I have to pay nothing - yes I know engagement figures create product worth etc. but I hope you get what I mean. Tennogen always makes me feel like I'm investing in artwork lead by the community and how cool it must be for them to say they've added a piece of them to the game we all love. This Plat to skip idea? It feels hollow. Soulless. Greedy. It actually makes it appear that you think less of your own game and less of us. Skipping is the same as saying the 10 years invested is only worth as much as a fee. And that really cheapens the experience. And that thought alone is sad even if not intended. And I believe it isn't the intention. I have first hand of experiences like this with a Warframe competitor... one that is floundering at the moment. One that expects you buy into expansions to near hundreds of pounds as a soon as you start to be relevant in the game, and even before to be honest. That game is Destiny 2. It has HORRIBLE monetization options. D2 should be an example of what not to be. Their brief ownership under Activision Blizzard King near killed their game. Or so I am told by their player base. What's worse is Bungie kept all the changes after getting their freedom back. Their games story is in absolute shambles because of all the alterations made to accommodate selling the next new expansion - and they have done this multiple times. Honestly, It's a garbled mess. Buying those expansions allow you to go places you have no idea about. You are shown things you can't possibly understand. In the wrong order things you see contradict other things. People are dead and then alive and then dead again... I experienced many a bad feeling with Destiny 2 and all those feelings started from actively being asked for money for wanting to play their game with a friend. I wanted to like the game but it just felt tainted by obvious corporate greed. I stopped playing it nearly as fast as I started and my friend and the people I played it with fully understood where I was coming from once I had explained my experience as a new player. Don't let Warframe become the next Destiny. Please. - Multiple edits for spell check, grammar and clearing up poorly worded sections... I'm guessing I've still missed some.
  3. This is Warframe. We pride ourselves in our community and we always have. After your 5000+ posts I'd of thought that would have been apparent. I just want to take the time to say your attitude toward me in your post was unnecessary. If you'd like to respond to me in a less accusatory tone and not make assumptions of what my skill level may be - Oh, and actually discuss my post. I'll happily speak to you. If the next post is like your last, don't mind if I reserve the right to ignore you. Telling me who you think I am without knowing me... bit silly really. In short - Game mode needed to be unlocked. Game mode implies a stay longer than normal missions to grind an middle to endgame resource. Game mode locks out if left. Game mode becomes less fruitful with less people. Game mode should have a lesser lock out timer or no timer at all so that individuals who wanted to stay are not punished by others leaving. This would allow a near seamless transition from mission to mission, IMO. Discuss.
  4. Sorry for your loss matey... Time and effort and all that.
  5. Nah it doesn't kick you but it makes backfill highly unlikely or just plain impossible depending on the round and gimps the run should people have wanted to go for an hour or W/e else. It's just a plain pain in the backside. As Crown above me mentioned, it starts a cascade effect more often than not. Even if you were okay with plugging on with 3 people just throw in the towel removing the option.
  6. For days in a row now (more commonly in these days than over my years of play) I have encountered groups that leave after the initial wave of Arbitration. They made a platinum sale and have to leave, others leave with them. They die within the initial 5min run, feel bad or embarrassed or w/e and leave. They just aren't in the mood anymore... I would have no issue with this whatsoever, except we, I, need to wait another hour to play again. Honestly it's getting to the point where it just feels bad. No one player should have so much power over another's play time. Especially over a game mode we had to spend time to unlock and have to wait for. I'm not calling for punishment of those players. I'm not calling for a mandatory play time once in the mission. Although there is possibly some merit to both of those solutions too... But, can we just delete the timer? have it on 20 or 30mins instead so the fill time after an abandoned run doesn't feel nearly as egregious as it does now?
  7. I've had this issue for a few weeks now. It's like the game is trying to render the metallic effect of Iron Skin over the new Deathwatch model, its failing massively and Rhino starts to flicker profusely between the skin itself and going completely transparent with odd wireframe-esque looking pieces. It makes the skin unusable. Graphics drivers are all up to date and same as OP I've tried all sorts of settings within the graphics tab. It persists through everything on the Deathwatch skin. And to be clear, it's only the Deathwatch skin, switching to any other Rhino skin fixes the issue.
  8. Bought the Valkyr Carnivex bundle when it came out [275 plat] - Never had use for the fist weapon skin [Dreyric Fist Skin]. Love Liger's work btw, amazing designs. Got my Furax Wraith - Got the Incarnon adapter this week - Put the skin on my Furax Wraith. Hit 6x multiplier, hit strong attack, Instant disappointment. Either I was gonna see all the Incarnon stylings clip through my fists or they just weren't going to appear. I never, not for a second thought they'd opt to revert the skin on transformation. To echo the sentiments of some of the other posters here... This is bad. I want my skins appearance, otherwise what's the point in owning skins. Purchasing skins. It's a lot of work to constantly update their code so they work in all content as we move forward I guess, but equally we all paid good money for our skins. I'd just be happy to hear what DE have to say about all this.
