  1. They have come a long way, and it has been awesome to watch it grow. I really wish I'd gotten a founder pack when it was for sale, but at least there is one in our household to be proud of.

  2. Our new clan emblem appeared in game today. What do you think? 🙂

Here is the design, made by me and my husband:

And here is how it looks in game some:

  3. Today I got the impression that there is suddenly almost no fish, as well. Almost no splashes, and even when I do hear splashes pretty much no fish. I could only find one fish near the ocean along the entire coast. Have also seen the few fish I managed to find swimming into rocks.

  4. After doing a bounty, the door opening to Cetus was all black, and stepping through dropped me off the map and landed me at the start of Cetus. When trying to start a new bounty without leaving Cetus from that point in time, the same thing happened with the door on the way into the plains. Example on gyfycat under spoiler

  5. Nova is my favorite frame. She is the reason I got hooked on this game and my most played frame both prime and not prime. I was waiting, hoping and praying for a nova deluxe skin, that would be just as stylish and impressive as the other deluxe skins we have had so far. When I heard the words "nova deluxe skin" I got so excited. And then I saw it. And I couldn't have been more than disappointed. I can't find any connection to Nova's "antimatter" theme at all - I imagined something way more spacey and cosmic looking. Instead, I saw something where my immediate thought was "a clown with a fly head". I don't know who is responsible for that default color theme - but it looks like absolute color vomit. The whole thing looks incredibly childish, like it's supposed to be Nova's "misfit toys" themed skin. The helmet is awful, the arms... The arms look like some bad approximation of connector set pieces or something. Poor nova, who always had the most adorable feets and legs. Well, not on this skin!

The only hope I have is that this skin might look better in a color scheme that wasn't picked by what looks like "randomize" results, otherwise not even fancy animated arms will be enough for me to want to pay for this.

I I feel really bad to be so critical; I believe everyone at DE is doing their best and really believes in their ideas. And I love to be on board with that! But this? The more I look at it the more I hate it.

The void may have had little variety in it but it did exist. There was a difference between what you would take to a defense or a capture, between a survival and an exterminate. Sure most everything could be acquired from endless missions but there was usually an option to run a one off if you were so inclined. Now no matter what tier we chose, what the base mission is we are basically playing poor mans excavation.

And here's the thing because of the corrupted composition and how fissure enemies are always a higher level than the base mission enemies (atleast in my experience); no one aiming for success is going to build around the base enemies because they don't matter. So if the base enemies don't matter  and the mission type doesn't matter because it is trivial, then the only thing that would encourage variance in what you bring would be what you are doing once you try to seal the te... oh wait that never changes. So why would you bring anything other than tanky frames? Answer is you wouldn't; there's less build variety here than there was in old void where what you were doing atleast made for a little diversity.

Do endless missions have any bearing on this can you go for multiple rotations? No, okay what about sabotage do finding caches reward you with an additional roll? No again (damn I actually really liked sabotage and not just because it gave you two items per key, that carrot on stick design actually encouraged exploration.

Quote edited down and pruned to emphasize some of the parts I absolutely most agree with.

Thank you for putting words to the things I was too frustrated to piece together, you nailed it imo.

  7. The new minmap icons for players were a nice idea for showing who is who, but in practice it is just too much clutter. The icons are too small to recognize who they are, and they just make the minimap look more cluttered than anything helpful. It just looks like a bunch of pixel junk floating around on the map. The old icons had a much cleaner look, in comparison, which to me is preferable. I think adding a switch to either use the previous player symbol or the frame heads would be nice, for those of us who preferred the old icons.

  8. - Mostly, I love the rework. I think the pathing will be much easier for people to understand. That being said, here are some changes I think would improve it.

    - Node icons are a little small, they could be a little bigger so you can better see the various alert/syndicate/assasination/invasion symbols on them. Text is also a little small.

    - Have resource drops always display, like it used to. One of the most common questions in region is always "where to farm X resource" - now with it being hidden under the extractor button people will be even less likely to realize this information is presented on the starchart. Showing this info on mouse-over for planets would also be nice to bring back.

And really, thats about all I saw as of right now. Good job!

  9. I'm just gonna list my thoughts, because my brain is a bit fried from logging in and trying to get a grip on all the new changes.

    - Public matchmaking for void seems like a good idea.

    - EVERYONE having to use a relic seems like a bad idea. One of the most common things I like to do in Warframe is help friends, and occasionally randoms. This often meant providing entry to various Tower keys, of which I generally had plenty. I never cared about keyshare, I was perfectly fine to use my key to take someone for as many keys as it took to get what they needed, and taking my reward to either get some ducats or sell for plat. Now, it seems that if someone doesn't have any relic for a specific Era, I'm left to say "too bad so sad", and I can't help them out anymore. Unless I go help them farm for the relic piece ( not quite sure how to do that yet outside of Syndicates as little to nothing about this new system was presented in game information wise ). In which case, it makes the whole process take longer, with more steps between the start and the end goal. More grind on my part, more grind on their part. I feel that this takes away from a bit of the community/team aspects of the game.

    - Whatever is happening with the whole fissure thing when in one of those missions is insanely hectic and confusing, and again we could have really used better in-game explanation of what to do. Given a few tries and some time, I'm sure it will become second nature eventually, but the introduction to it for the first time felt pretty bad.

    - What is the void now? I see that there are missions there, just normal missions now. Have towers been downgraded to just regular non-special places? Lore-wise, I mean. I'm just curious.

    - 49058304985 nullifiers popping out of fissures. Its hilarious and I know you can melee them to death, but it just seems excessive. I've never had a problem with nullifiers, I've never whined about them being too hard. It just seems like a bit much, in this case.

  10. Probably already mentioned here, but the item linking popup is showing up behind the chat window so its hard to read and selecting something ( if thats meant to be? ) isn't working.

Enjoying exploring the update so far!
