  1. You're making some very extreme assumptions about Agall based on...I really don't know what. Do you have to demonize somebody to disagree with them? Well at least you're doing your part.
  2. Depends on the old frame, depends on the rework, depends on the new frame. A Yareli rework doesn't sound intriguing, a Banshee rework could reignite my enthusiasm for the game or depress me, and new frames can go in any direction as far as my interest is concerned. I don't know how to choose one over the other. Only thing I can say is I hope DE keeps mixing some reworks/remasters into their schedule. They seem to be. Pablo is involved in both reworks and new frames. I don't know, but I imagine there is a lot of other overlap of personnel. At least a few times they've alluded to reworks being of questionable value relative to other things they need to do. I'm not sure that "new frames" have been explicitly mentioned as one of those things, but given that one of the constant cycles is pushing out a new frame 3-4 times a year, there's a clear implication of it.
  3. Well unlike a lot of frames, he has no bad augments.
  4. And people can tell them what they want. Don't get confused though: it's DE's product. Sometimes their choices will align with what you want, often they won't. Make your choices accordingly.
  5. Oh, definitely. Although I wonder if new players might be bothered less by this on average than longtimers are.
  6. He can cast Dark Verse, Word Warden and Page Flight. (I think Tragedy and maybe Noctua too, but I'm not certain about these.) I haven't used him more than a few times outside the Sim, but what I've observed is he seems to get stuck, either doing Triumph or--not as often but not rarely either--doing Word Warden and occasional Page Flight, and not doing the other. Which may limit his usefulness for overguard cheese. I like hitscan, AoE, chaining, or infinite body PT wide projectiles. Specters don't aim so good. Currently I'm fond of Arca Plasmor, as its got wide projectiles and innate radiation, which is amusing to get the occasional proc on. You might also like weapons with good ammo economy, as Specters can run out. /sheds a tear for Probocernos... I haven't tested this in forever, but there was solid evidence in the past that Specters were benefiting from at least a few Incarnon perks on their weapons.
  7. These are hover-over stats underneath "Magazine". But yes, I agree that reload especially should be directly shown in the Arsenal. Rather than needing a hover.
  8. Of course. The dev statement didn't go into nuances, so I was just adding some practical information. I have guesses about which of these are bugs or oversights, but guesses is all they are.
  9. It's odd to me too, but there is a certain planetary environment theme park aesthetic that some people are probably familiar with in this game. And probably in a lot of games, movies, and other content in some sense. Although personally my first instinctive reaction to the topic was, "Phhffft...don't touch my fast travels, yo."
  10. Empty slot counting is a fantastic idea. Guaranteeing ownership of at least one weapon still incentivizes gaming the system in a way I'd guess DE doesn't want after witnessing the extreme measures players used in reaction to Duviri. It seems like they should import Duviri's loaner system, as has been pointed out several times. (Although ideally I'd like to see some improvements to the modding on these.)
  11. Right, but Stomp's effect on eximus was definitely broken. Bastille/Tornado (and Chyrinka) are useful and noticeable if you're not just melting eximus with dps, but don't remotely make eximus overguard pointless.
  12. I haven't checked after yesterday's update, but Bastille and Tornado were still applying a mild slow to Overguarded enemies instead of their normal hard CC. Which I've always thought could be implemented as a way for more CC abilities to have application against eximus without peeling away Overguard first.
  13. To wit: Although there are a couple of other DR effects that work, that are more easily accessible: dodge and Ancient Healer specter aura. Rolling Guard and puncture proc damage debuffs also work, although DE may not (and IMO probably shouldn't) consider these DR. Weapon block doesn't work. I haven't tested Eclipse since it was reworked, but it didn't apply before that. Still have never tested Null Star. Now that Dante specters are a thing, I should do that, as well as some other stuff that doesn't normally apply on frames that can generate their own overguard outside of Duviri.
  14. It's whichever duplicate has the most forma, random if there is a tie.
  15. She didn't really, although it could have been more clear. And I don't blame anybody for misinterpreting before actually seeing the change in writing. The explanation starts at 11:30 in the short if you want to listen to it again.
  16. Yeah, a base 25 energy / 25m range, quick cast, untargeted gathering tool would feel powerful in a pretty open map!
  17. I think that's just a mistake in wording. Pull still has a short range, unmoddable 360 radial pull, in addition to the moddable range cone. So, vaguely keyhole shaped, as you said. The Dante Unbound bug was that Pull seemed to work at 360 degrees out to modded range after Dante Unbound instead of having a cone effect at all. So a big circle rather than a keyhole.
  18. Melee ganking companion overguard is listed in Known Issues. Unfortunately could be a while before it's fixed.
  19. Yeah, being able to run DA without the search pulse sacrifice but forgoing tier rewards should be a thing.
  20. In the Sim, Cloak Arrow is lasting the correct amount of time for me, both on the ground and on a specter. (The latter I used a stopwatch.) Are you only seeing the problem when it's targeted on escort NPCs?
  21. In comparison to what? :P On the face of it, I'd much rather use radiation-cold Verglas or Helstrum for CC. I'd lose out on viral or heat, but Artax is such a mediocre primer for anything but cold, it's hard for me to see it as a big loss. Better not to outsource those at all if I'm relying on them. If there's more to it, I'd love to understand it better.
  22. Sounds like a bug. Both are working for me. Only thing I can think of is to make sure you're within range of enemies with Lockdown, as it's only got half the range of Anomaly. Although even so I don't see much point in Anomaly, and maybe less so in combination with Lockdown.
  23. I would not go anywhere near that far, but I sure hope it's getting reviewed and they decide to fix it.
  24. I don't know what you mean. Headshots are fun, of course. Sniper headshots extra-extra fun. But Sniper combo just depends on hitting the target directly, not on headshots. If it's not bugged, it should just be a straightforward propagation of damage from all of Zymos' effects. But I haven't tried it. It does strike me as the kind of thing where something might not work as expected.
