  1. In the love of all Tenno please remove this RNG on Items or at least let us grind somthing to upgrade bad rolled Items
    e.g.:

    • Player 1 gets a RJ weapon with +60% (max value) damage (god roll) he is lucky and done.
    • Player 2 gets a RJ weapon with +40% damage and he can spend (polish the weapon) with e.g. Dirac to boost the 40% step by step until the weapon is at 60%.
    • Player 3 gets a  RJ weapon with +20% damage (min value) so he can decide to grind for a new weapon with more +damage% whats highly possible to get and then grinds it up like player 2 OR he can grind even more Dirac (or Recource X) to boost polish the weapon all the way trom 20 to 60.

Grinding (to a finishline) is fine but grinding that is absolutely pointless and is purely related to luck does not make fun and results in frustration and burnout

In all the upper cases there is a finishline that has "some" RNG into it BUT it is 100% reachable by putting effort in the game without having luck only.

If you find this is a good and/or possible (partial) solution, PLEASE UPVOTE

edit: btw imo this also should count on Lich Weapons

SO i figured out a solution to the mysterious "not enough space problem ok so, if you do not have an elevator going up and down so there is a level created above and below the drydock. it will say that there is not enough space. so make sure you have an elevator going up/down from the level where you have your railjack being created so that those levels are created. Heads up, if the level below you is created. Then your good, you just need to get the level above created and vice versa. just make sure the space where your drydock is going is still clear.

This can't be right entirely, because I can build the Drydock on my 1st/regular floor and I don't have a elevator to -1 just do +1.

  3. First of all very big thank you for the update 26

In my oppinion the new lich/nemesis system is a huge leap forward and a great idea, but unfortunatly it has its flaws.

I do not want to rend on the flaws because this makes no sense and is not productive. So i try to bring some solutions to the very grind- and luck heavy current state of the system (comming from a MR27/2K+ Hrs  player).

So all of the following are just possible solutions and some stuff to think about to maybe get some new ideas.

    • Make the requiem word check like the "mastermind" game not check one mod after a nother by its own. if you have equiped a mod that fits in the requiem word but is on the wrnog position then it will be highlighted, and if its on the right position then it will be locked  into your parazon.
    • Rise the number of murmurs that you need to get a hint BUT the hints only reveal the position of a mod IF you have a right mod on the wrong position equiped. so you get a maximum of 2 hints and will be forced to play the mastermind game to the end.
    • Give extra rewards on a lich defeat (e.g. 2-5k kuva) so it wont feel like total wasted of time to defeat a lich with a weapon and/or epherma you alredy own.
      • why 2-5k kuva?
        1. its a KUVA lich so when you defeat it, its fine if the let it drop some of their essence.
        2. at the moment it takes about 2-3h to kill one lich if you are not totaly lucky, so how how many kuva you will get in the same time out of a kuva disruption or survival - i say a lot more!)
    • Add a new currency to a lich defeat, with that new currency the players can buy every kuva weapons with a random element out of their hand and/or Ephemera (e.g. 10 currency for a weapon 15 currency for a Ephemera) so the grind will have a point, and stop being pointless.

In addition i wont resopnd to any offended post afterwards this is just a small mindmap of me.
Iif you just want to cry please do it somewhre else or open you own post.
If you have contructive ideas to make the lich system better feel free to post them.

thank you for reading and your time
sorry for my english its not my first language and my school days be gone a long time ago

  4. It seems like it is the new meta as a host to leave the group after killing the hemocyte.
I did MULTIPLE runs where i left with +0 Standing after fnishing. Specialy when u do 3-4-5 runs without leaving the PoE (reaccepting the Bounty from the PoE)
The added Operational Supplies are shown on the Missionreport -> Syndicate Standings but checking at Nakak you have gained nothing.
This VERY dissapointing especialy the Bounty becomes more and more to a LEECH contest where no one wants to add their Eidolon Phylaxis and/or Infested Catalysts and you or in this case i am the only one who adds 2x4 Pods multiple times and gets 0 reward out of it.

    DE please FIX it FAST

Usually I just use this forum to get informed but all I read ihere s a huge crybaby that cries so much that i need to reply. A crybaby who possible spends hundreds or even thousand of plat on the market for a now "easy" to get item. Mr. Baby deal with it. As everything in life, if you want some thing the first you have to pay a lot more then someone who can wait for a deal. Stop cry like a baby and grow up.

And God knows I no life farmed him by my self while still not getting his sledge completed.

Hey Guys.. my download for the latest update keeps failing. Went over to the steam discussion threads and it seems a lot of people are having the same issue. Anybody here facing this?

since patch 32.10.2 nothing is working for me
also on steam client even re-downloaded whole 19.xGb

no matter how potent your internet is, you don't have a fixed bandwith simply because of the fact that you're not the only one using a part of the total bandwidth. 😉

Also, latency highly depends on where you are located and where the rest of the squad is, or more to be specific, how the routing between them is done. You can have a 1 gbps up-/download bandwidth and still be a crappy host for me if you're on the other side of the world.

The only viable approach would be to somewhat group squads by their geolocation and then first perform a test on which one of them would right now perform best as host.

     ...

maybe expand the options from the geolocaton to more more then the 5-7 which are available now. dont forget the curent latency filter is still active.

you, (not you personaly) sould think about the system as a whole not just the single parts.

if the regional filter (which is already implemented and works) is set corect,
the latency filter (which is already implemented and works) is set corect
and the personal hardware/internet filter (which is NOT (yet?!?) implemented )

then the "bad host" problem should become less. True every system can have a magin of failures but i think a connection check combined with a personal perference "just client", "client", "host" can significantly improve the system

What happens if everyone were to pick this?

User will never become a host and needs to wait in matchmaking queue for a “Client” or  “Preferred Host”

I can say I am in Mongolia and my upload speed is 10 Gbps. The player cannot be trusted or really expected to know what their actual upload speed is at any given point. Further, their computer performance also plays a role here.

True everyone can set their setting and "cheat" and do some trolling. but i think most of the players are truthfull and the benefit of filtering will overweight the bad sides beside there is stille the latency filter so no client will conect to a host that is above the seted latecy filter

  9. Add some more network options e.g.:

    • Default: (if you don’t care you got no problems)
      • For the casual user keep the default settings as they are. So everyone who does not care will join a game as a client or in rare circumstances become randomly a host if the matchmaking just selected  users with default settings
      • No further settings
    • Advanced:
      • The user needs to enter his upload speed and region by selecting it from a dropdown menu or something equivalent… to reduce the numbers of variables
      • Add options where the user can chose what he prefers to become:
        • Just Client
          • User will never become a host and needs to wait in matchmaking queue for a “Client” or  “Preferred Host”
        • Client (nearly equivalent to Default settings)
          • User mainly will become a client. If only are “default”, “client’s” and “just client’s” in matchmaking queue available the user with the highest upload speed becomes host
        • Preferred Host
          • User mainly becomes host matchmaking will direct “Just Client’s”, “Default’s” and “Client’s” to him.
          • If there a multiple users in a matchmaking queue that selected “Preferred Host” the player with the highest upload speed becomes host (This scenario should only happen on low frequent missions). On high or regular frequent missions matchmaking prefers only one host per group. So everyone can get the best performance.

In my opinion this system could significantly improve the network quality IF the matchmaking system is able to follow certain conditions.

Feel free to add a constructive comment and/or leave a like/thumbs up or what ever 😛

BTW: Sorry for my not so perfect English
