  1. Yes but in real life silly is common and normal out of the perspective of immersion and peoples view on things. Here we look at it from the immersion of the tenno individual, what that specific player holds as canon in an RP sense of immersion. At that point the tenno of that player is the tenno, so what he sees as standard is what goes. So if he does not accept non-name tenno pleb 123 to wear X equipment he will not have him as part of his potential "crew". I'll describe this further in reply to your last segement of the post. Sure, that is in real life. I mean, if we had the option to run nekkid in the game it would be approapriate since the game allows it, but it might still not be appropriate out of a gameplay perspective where immersion is the focus. And that is the whole point of it, that the player concerned with immersion sees the story and world as his, since he bases it on that he is the protagonist that lives the story or the world. And we kinda have the running naked thing in the game which would be nice if we could set rules against on our own, here it is simply called flashy energy colors. It only goes so far though if we go back to what I said in the first segment. It is about the single tenno, he/she is the hero. And since we cannot avoid public interaction completely a toggle would be suited for that part, since that tenno decides whom he/she surrounds himself/herself with when going to those relays etc. that throw all players together. Like I said to Publik, if everything could be experienced fully solo or only in pre-mades a toggle wouldnt be needed, since then there would be an option for your specific preferences already, since you would be able to hit up relays and hubs completely solo or with likeminded people and friends. Which is why I said we need to set the rules ourselves, whatever fits our own narritive if we have one at all. We are the "law" since we make the story for our own specific tenno that is the tenno out of all, if we are into that thing. So while DE gives us access to alot of things it doesnt mean there shouldnt be ways to hide or avoid it, since even though the things are abiding by real life laws and are acceptable in that sense, it doesnt mean they are acceptable to every player out of a RP or immersive point of view. And those players that require full attention are forced upon us for starters and they wouldnt be any wiser if someone can or cannot see their cosmetics as they toot around in the first place. So their attention-whoring would still be intact asfar as they know.
  2. Nope, sounds about right. I'm fairly sure if DE had just fixed the mini-map tracker OP would have still made this thread and claimed DE killed disruption.
  3. With how the kit works and with the potential it has I'd say Dante is in a good spot as is. What he could use is QoL tied to his buffs so we dont need to track them among all other 1000 buffs and instead have them show above his Page UI. I also wouldnt mind a hold function added to his 2 and 3 which would simply add 2+3 or 3+2 to his pages while also casting the skill that was held at double cost and have 2x tap only needed for full light or dark verse. Overall he is a chore to play and the biggest benefit is his group Overguard potential. His damage is great sure, but it also requires alot of interaction compared to all the weapons and frames we have access to that requires less. Atleast the buffs last long, but versus corpus it is a drag to play the moment scrambus start to appear.
  4. This would be in order for us to not have to look at it, since we are "forced" to see it naturally, we cant simply chose not to go to an installation or show, since everything is that installation or show in public no matter if we want to or not. IRL there would instead be rules depending on where we go which deems what it appropriate and not for the situation. Here each player needs to determine that on their own really and a tool to help with that would be good. Also consider how something like say a painting doesnt reduce the expression made by the artist even if hung in the wrong lighting or similar. It is still there on the canvas, we just dont see it due to "filters".
  5. The thing is they didnt. You only needed to use that if the old system ran into one of the frequent bugs tied to mini-map tracking. When the visual tracking worked it was nearly identical to how it works now, with the exception of the tracker being a tiny arrow on the mini-map instead of an OSD marker in your combat view. When the tracker worked, the moment a demo came within the same range as it does now, it would light up on the mini-map. The issue is that it was bugged in most cases and either gave away the position directly or not working at all. So it seems more that you werent really aware of the mechanics and the bugs of the old system. What we got was a major bug fix and easier accessibility to the visual queue, since a tiny red arrow among other bigger arrows isnt exactly easy to pinpoint. When I did Kappa yesterday two of the conduits were in the long room (down on the walkway by pillar and up near one of the doors) with the "holo pit/computer station" and "engine cylinders". One conduit (the lower one) had the demo spawn tied to the right door as you face the holo-pit/computer stations. The visual indicator for it didnt show until I had made my way out through the door, into the massive room with the two huge machines (the ones where there is usually a mob defense location in between) and started to run towards the left hand doorway (right hand there are two doors up the stairs by the floor vents)), and when I reached the bottom of the stairs the icon popped and showed I was heading in the right direction. The second conduit also required me to move a bit, not as much, but down the slope into the upper part of the "hangar", to the right and down the stairs towards the right hand door. The icon popped as I was on the walkway just above the hallway/door. If this was the old system and it worked reliably I would have seen arrows on the map instead when reaching those locations. So same risk that the enemy could have come from an opposite direction with that huge room as the conduit room. The old system could have also shown me the exact location directly by me wobbling around with the map, or it might have not shown me at all. Neither of those two would be intended by design though.
  6. Yes exactly it is. And at that point D is not entitled to an opinion since they already recieved what they wanted at the expense of someone else. That is why their opinion is absurd and invalid. If this was a simple case of just adding a toggle to cosmetic, those seen as "lore correct", then D would have a valid point since the cosmetic would not be "silly", at which point their "expression" would take a hit. But regarding these "silly" items, D has already gotten what they've wanted, so it is their time to give something up, so their excuse and opinion isnt valid. But that isnt how a compromise works. You are also comparing a minority here (A), versus a majority and norm (D). In the cosmetic example two minorities within the community were compared to eachother for a compromise between the two. Both give something up. In your example here, A gives up nothing while D gives things up without anything in return. Even if you try to claim there is a benefit in more items to experiment with it isnt true, because in the end they still give up what they had, their efficiency which they maximized overtime and invested in is now gone and will not be back no matter what other items they get to experiment with. Which not only applies to when they are grouped with player A, but also when among likeminded people in a pre-made and while playing solo. The option to avoid D is already there for A incase he doesnt like the norm of the game, since he has access to both solo and pre-mades with likeminded people or friends. So what A does is impact D everywhere, when the problem A wants "solved" is isolated to random groups that are there for ease of use in the first place. So A wants what they demand so they can keep going the "lazy" route to grouping. In the cosmetic example there is nothing A can do to avoid D and his cosmetics as it is now. If there was an option to load relays/hubs solo, then a toggle wouldnt be really needed either, since there is the choice to keep the immersion by going solo or with pals/likeminded people. Immersion that would in all honesty likely be more intact that way than any toggle can provide. Because even with a toggle, lore breaking paradoxes can occur in a public hub or group, like several umbra, revenant, skiajati, sun & moon and so on while the story only actually happens to a single tenno that would have access to that equipment in that shape and form. Please do elaborate on what A would give up in your "compromise" of power.
  7. Yeah, keeping one higher than the other is most beneficial. I either try to focus on electricity or viral, with the other stat being just there to place a debuff or proc the arcane. On Dual Ichor my viral is the heavy weighting, since I must remove the lone toxin, so I need to spend atleast 2 mods on that in order for electricity to be free. Might aswell up viral at that point so it grants the biggest hits on each proc while also having a higher chance to proc several times with 100%+ status chance. Then on other weapons viral tends to be the lowest if I need to rely on Nourish, which is easier now since the patch nerf. 45% will only reach the value of a 90% mod on most my frames since they tend to only make use of +100% power strength.
  8. I think you found the reason why the big ones are constantly asleep! "Hey... like.. Loid dude... can... uh... you like...uh... I dunno... fix me... some like... uh food? I got like the biggest munchies here bro!" "Oh dude! Dude bro.. that... like... uh.. fish? It looks totally food bro dude!" "Yeah! I know bro! Like... dude, lets cook it" Fibbonachi starts looking worried "Dude bro... on second... like... thought... I dont like fish much" "No worries bro, we'll just... like... cook that goat-cat-dog girl" "Awesome bro!" Tagfer starts wondering why Minn isnt back yet
  9. I just wanna point out that it isnt a 20% chance to apply electricity specifically, it is a 20% chance for electricity status to trigger a buff that guarantees all future elemental (void doesnt count) status procs to trigger on everything within 20m with their modded damage. So all you need for influence to be bonkers is a single electric mod on your melee along with good status chance. It turns weapons like Ack & Brunt Incarnon into a 20m nuke when you slide or jump trigger the spectral axe (which you can spam aslong as you are airborne), and things like Sampotes become full room clear weapons now since slams make use of your modding. And yeah it is ridonculous on Dual Ichor even after the nerfs that made it unable to spread its own clouds 20m away, since infuence procs that kill still create clouds where it kills. I'm kinda glad they nerfed it, since it was annoying when it started to wander and spread loot all over the map. Atleast now you can control it and lock down chokepoints, since it still produces new clouds as enemies die within the cloud. No, Ichor was unique in that sense and it was because the cloud could proc infulence which could then kill and spawn a new cloud 20m away from the other cloud, so it just spread and spread and spread. Now it just adds clouds within the clouds, which is still powerful and it no longer deals bonus damage on status procs, since influence no longer procs from the damage dealt by the cloud. It still deals alow of damage though and can completely lock down locations to auto-kill enemies as you kill elsewhere with the frame. There are alot of strong melee weapons though for Influence use. Bo (Prime) Incarnon Magistar (Sancti) Incarnon Ack & Brunt Incarnon Silva & Aegis Prime Plague Zaw with high status, can also make Contagion proc influence Dual Ichor Incarnon Syam (the heavy attack is no joke with influence) Sampotes with its crazy heavy slams and slams Nami Solo Incarnon Keratinos since it has innate viral plus after heavy attack you have a +3m range buff. Incarnon lite more or less. Other claws work well too since they all have access to super fast stances with multiple hits. They main thing to consider is finding a stance for the weapons that has moves that hit fast in order to proc the buff and then trigger as many statuses as possible when not using weapon specific mechanics. Crushing Ruin on hammers for instance since the block combo results in a whirlwind, Eleventh Storm for Sword and Board since it hits wider, faster and has better momentum than the otherwise prefered Final Harbinger. After that make sure to mod for status chance, Weeping Wounds should be enough. And my suggestion would be to use Nourish on the frames you plan to use influence on, unless you have access to a riven for the weapon, otherwise you'll be starved on mod slots if you want to fit both viral and electric. Which is why I use Kullervo alot atm, since I can skip Blood Rush and fit attack speed, reach, viral, electric, weeping wounds, amalgam organ shatter and CO. On other frames it becomes tricky since if I want Blood Rush I'll have to give up something else. A riven easily solves it by grabbing attack speed and one of the 3 elements you need along with something else potentially and a negative if you are lucky.
  10. Frappuccino's old fish tank from when he/it/that/fish was used to explore the void? Could also be Albrecht's personal void bong.
  11. Decoy doesnt really need anything since the augment got added this patch. It scales well now and deals acceptable damage while spreading statuses. It handles trash and increases CO effects for Loki, which fits well since he is a frame relying on weapons anyways. And while it would be nice with some buff stealing, Loki doesnt really need it since he has two of the best defenses in the game overall, stealth and disarm. Plus now with the Decoy augment he has a further reliable distraction/defense option allowing him or his group to take out the tougher targets if they need to rely on control. Radial Disarm could just get an eximus/ancient aura nullification similar to silence. That would give it some use versus infested aswell. Giving it a nullifier bubble removal seems out of place since it is still a WF ability that shouldnt be able to effect nullibubbles. Passive definently needs a rework. Maybe the failsafe thing with a mechanic similar to Wukong that it can only trigger a couple of times throughout a mission. They could also give him a damage related passive. Something like +X% damage with silenced weapons and while attacking an enemy in melee while stealthed.
  12. I tested it today on an old tile and it practically works like it has always done with the exception that you get a clear visual indicator when you get close enough to where the sound gives it away aswell. I tested it on the Sedna mission since it allows for close and far spawns and the initial indicator only shows when it spawns within a range of roughly two rooms. Under the old system the only difference was that you had too constantly look at the minimap instead, since it showed an arrow on it, which was bugged to hell and back several times over. It sometimes didnt show at all and other times it showed the demo location long before you got close, at times directly when it spawned miles away. Plus sometime it required you to turn a certain way in order to be able to see it, otherwise it ended up out of bounds or similar. So the only thing that has really changed is that they improved accessibility and fixed some bugs. You can now look at the screen where the combat occurs instead of tracking a minimal arrow on the minimap while trying to also keep track on what happens on the screen.
  13. I havent tried it on old tiles yet. But if anything it is just a good benefit on the old tiles aswell if it shows their spawn direction instantly, since it allows us to get around otherwise horrible bugs, like enemies getting stuck way way way way away and never reaching the conduit. edit: Plus it is another boon for those that love to play solo and cant speed disruption up by covering 4 directions at all times.
  14. I cant support the idea of him becoming a support since it just doesnt mesh with what Loki is thematically. It is already bad enough that the Loki they based the frame on seems more like Marvel Loki than myth Loki. And the disarm popping bubbles? No just no, we dont need another mindless map covering remove everything skill. It's more than enough it disarms enemies, what it could get is some interaction with infested potentially since they cant get disarmed. However, overall Loki is really solid after the patch, especially with the really strong augment he recieved. I havent tested it fully yet, but it improves his damage straight out the door, both by reflecting damage and spreading statuses for CO effects to benefit from. So far I've tested him with Nourish instead of Switch, but plan on checking out the chaos that can be provided by Breach Surge or Roar on him. Will likely do that tomorrow. Also, stealing armor and overguard... I could see it as a thing for Loki but not something to give others, since sharing and caring isnt exactly Loki's path to glory. Unless you consider handing Höder a mistletoe coated arrow to shoot Balder with, or helping Surt burn all 9 worlds by becoming the helmsman of Naglfar. But anyways, the armor and OG would need to be a small fraction of the enemy value, since it wouldnt be interesting if he steals all several thousands of OG and thousands of armor. Plus this whole thing with CC not being relevant or some CC frames needing help... I honestly can only name a single frame that could use help and that is Limbo due to how things interact with him, and he only has CC. All other CC works perfectly well within their kit, it is just that damage is better to handle things. But there is no practical way to actually improve CC, since it is already strong as hell. Nyx, another frame that is more or less just CC+survival with limited debuffing is fine regarding CC since it has innate confusion, meaning it works versus practically everything.
  15. It actually works more like it did upon initial release before DE managed to bug out parts of the visual help in tracking. There used to be a red indicator of the direction on the minimap when the demo approached the conduit, quite a long distance. So all other places were more or less fixed in this patch, a few years late but atleast a fix none the less. I played most my disruptions with music on, aside from the release event period. At some point in a patch that was ruined since the visual tracker got busted, which resulted in it at times always showing on the minimap, even at ridiculous spawn ranges and sometime barely not at all. I remeber on Kuva Fortress where it spawns so close that it drops to the conduit in seconds, and at times neither the tiny arrow nor the red square marker showed the demo before it was on the conduit. In most cases you could safeguard by just staying at the conduit, but that isnt something that really made the mode more challenging or interesting, just tedious with bad flow if you didnt want to use headphones and tweaked sound settings.
  16. Hilarious that you point fingers at the text when just a few posts back you used in-game flavor text to try and disprove similiarity between the helm and other Ostron clothing. And you are what? I'm saying no one is arguing that DE can just add a flavor text and make it "belong". We (as in me) are arguing they look out of place. I'd also like to ask you how you can see the other point as valid when that point (in the case of out of place items) gives that specific side all the "wins"? Let me sum it up. Player A wants immersion Player B doesnt care Player C wants silly items Player D wants silly items and a need to show it at all time cos "expression". Played D gets something when a silly item they or C want is added. +1 for player C and D over player A. If player A then gets a toggle he gets +1 aswell, meaning both sides have obtained something. If a toggle is never added player D not only gets the silly cosmetic, but player A also loses their "expression" since their immersion is killed. So it is no longer a +1 for D, it is effectively a +3, since they get the item, can force everyone to see it for "expression" while also killing the immersion of player A in the process. How is that on any single level any form of a compromise? A compromise would be cosmetic+toggle since that would result in Player A +1 (toggle) Player B 🤷‍♂️ Player C +1 (gets the item) Player D +1 (gets the item)
  17. I'm glad they added the saved rewards mechanics, because losing hours due to a bug is not really fun. The nerfs to jackal I just dont get, we have access to so many tools that trivialize him in SP circuit. Wouldnt it be better to keep him "challenging" so people have something to advance towards?
  18. It's an opinion, it doesnt mean it is valid. There are alot of opinions in the world and there are many of those that arent valid, this being one such opinion. Coming from me? I dont exactly have absurd opinions, I might have an opinion of the other side on a thing, but it doesnt go to the extreme. The opinion you defend here isnt the opposite of something, it is the very far extreme of something. Asking for a toggle for instance isnt a "me me me" thing, since the other guys are free to use the aestethics they like. Asking for a toggle not to be added since you consider it needed to express yourself is a "me me me" thing, since it only considers "you" and no one else since "you" must be observed by everyone. That is not a part of a compromise, a compromise is adding a toggle so those that want to see something can see it if someone else is willing to show it, or if someone wants to use it and see it themselves on their frame. The toggle is the essence of the compromise, since it allows for silly items but they arent forced on anyone. The person not wanting the toggle doesnt only get access to the silly item that others dont want in the game, he also gets the ability to force it on those people. Where is the compromise in that? It looks silly but not out of place. Something can look silly and still work within the game. I for instance find several of the operator outfits silly, but they fit the quill/fortuna and tenno. Also if you wanna argue the accuracy of the Norg helmet and the similarity to other Ostron things, you might wanna read up on some of the other items tied to PoE, since it clearly states in the game that fish scales for instance are used for tailoring i.e making clothes. And it clearly doesnt refer to the tenno using it for tailoring, since we make everything in the foundry. And no one is arguing that. I dont think I've mentioned canon even once, all I said that implied anything like that is when I said the mask atleast looks like it belongs to where it is from. The ears will look out of place no matter what since they are overall not well designed. They practically look like they dont belong, so did the old ears, but that was OK since it was just a holiday gag. So them looking like they were attached with suction cups or wonder glue or something and had wonky physics didnt really matter. These new ears dont even look as if they are actually attached, they look like they clip out through the helmet.
  19. But that isnt what you are doing. You are agreeing that their idea is actually valid by wording it the way you've done. You continue doing so here. Their idea is insane, since they can still express themselves just as much even if some people can turn off cosmetics. That is how the real world work, not everyone has to see or hear you in order for you to express yourself. It should be no different in a game. We are not taking the item away from them. If we did they wouldnt be able to express themselves, since they wouldnt have access to that option. Others do not have to acknowledge you in order for you to express yourself. However you imply that people must, otherwise a person isnt able to express themselves. Dayum, alot of artists just failed to express themselves! Just looking over a bit into the distance on my TV-screen right now, I'm denying millions from expressing themselves since... oh my TV is toggled off! Aaaw poor people over there somewhere having their expression cancled and rendered dead by me and several others not interested in watching X program on the TV right now. That is the insanity of their logic, and yours since you support them. No they really arent. It is absurdity. And clearly you do not grasp the concept of similarity. Clothes made from living things. Really hard concept, much mindbending, such wow. Hence why I mentioned two very different tribes, where one uses sealife and the other uses wildlife and plantlife to make similar clothes and tools. I really dont know how that concept can be so hard to grasp. And you keep missing my point. These ears specifically look out of place. DE can make up any excuse for these, that is there right and I would accept it even if I'd consider it poor storytelling at that point. But right now, there is nothing to them that makes them fit in the game as a permanent item since they are practically a child toy. They dont even look good the way they are "attached", they look horribly cheap. Which also further increases their out of place feeling. edit: I mean seriously, do you honestly think they look good on the Gauss Prime shown?
  20. It is a tap and hold skill now with no influence from the light around you. So it is always at max potential based on which version you use, so Solar 30%+ weapon damage, Lunar 75% DR.
  21. It works like Frost, Ember, Volt and Gauss (single cast) augments, they combine with any single or combined element they can add to. The difference is you get guaranteed procs aswell. Got a weapon with cold+toxin+electric and use heat you'll end up with viral+rad. If you use toxin it adds to the viral so you get viral+electric, if you use corrosive you'll end up with viral+corrosive since the corrosive will combine with the electric since it still follows mod order rules. So for a cold based weapon whatever mix you use will combine with the cold damage aslong as you have cold as a solo element on the weapon unless you mix a combined element that doesnt include cold. Like how I tested a weapon earlier today with corrosive+cold and mixed gas along with having nourish, that gave me corrosive+cold+gas+viral. But when I used toxin I only got corrosive+viral and when I used only heat I got corrosive+blast+viral. The only inconsistancy I've had was when I ran Ack & Brunt Incarnon and tried heat mix combined with my viral+electric influence build. Which turned into viral+radiation obviously, but it still also procced heat. And this was without slides or jumps weaved into the combat, which otherwise would produce a projectile with innate heat (which normally turns into radiation in that same build).
  22. Not really a need for a rework. Some people need a bit of everything so run those missions, if someone needs something specific there are options for that to target far already. C rewards are supposed to be rare, that is just how it is. What could be done is giving everything the disruption treatment, since it awards you for staying and playing the mission based on what you need. Need endo? Hit up arbitrations. Need credits? Hit up Index, Profit Taker or the Neptune(?) Disruption. Need specific relics? Hit up any disruption with the right tier and learn how rotations work there. Then for newer releases things have gotten alot easier to obtain due to "token" options and difficulty choices that aware a higher chance for the drops and more tokens. I practically got done in 2 and a half hours today getting everything that went live yesterday. 2 frames and one of each weapon and only bought a few parts from the vendor, which a heap of tokens left to throw on whatever. And that was all done in two disruption runs.
  23. Albrecht went to the void, Loid went to actual sleep. We know Albrecht has been places since he went into the sarco%&^us, he's also traveled a timeless place, where things from the future have ended up in the past through it. So Albrecht no being around long enough to collect shards is uhm silly, since as Teshin implies, all event in undercroft for instance have happened, happens and are yet to happen, meaning the void has potential for alot to end up where it isnt or is (depending how you look at it) supposed to. And you say no catch up and overpriced? Those new players you for some odd reason worry so much about will reach the new shard vendor faster than the old, weeks faster. And while the time investment per week is more for the shard at the Cavia, you can far up several weeks of shards worth of rep every week as a trade off. Kahl provided just enough for a single shard in a week with a few credits to spare. In the labs everything else on the vendor can be farmed through drops aswell, so they arent losing out vendor items early on in order to buy shards. Depending on your rep cap you can farm enough for 3-4 shards per week, meaning you can plan ahead with the cavia waaay ahead of time. At Kahl you got the option to skip one week every 7 weeks or so and still obtain the shard for the week, which would still set you back on rep. 6 weeks or something after the extra credit caches were added. So the new system works well for both new and veteran players. New players reach the shard fast and can plan ahead, veterans can skip weeks if they like (I know I will since I only need mission drops and not bounty drops atm) and then grind up enough for several weeks during a 3-4 day period. Would I have prefered 20k per shard? Yes indeed since then I wouldnt need to do bounties more often than each 6 weeks.
  24. They still do, the moment they equip something. Not everyone needs to observe something in order for someone to express themselves. Hence why not all of earth attends every single show, manifestation, debate or share the same religious view or how one is supposed to act within a certain group etc. Claiming that you cannot express yourself since someone doesnt observe it is insanity and an extreme even for someone entitled. Even if you might not feel like they do, just that you compare this to having something removed from everyone is so extremely ridiculous, even for you. Even worse is that you dont just bring up their idea, you also actually defend it at this point. And which part of similar is hard to understand. Fisher tribes wore similar outfits to plains tribes, there were still made from different materials. Or are you honestly saying a pair of "vegan" boots/shoes or a jacket are not similar to a authentic leather version? Since you are bordering, or past that border of reasoning right now. Ancient ear warmers or what? It's two simple seperate ears, we arent talking something intricate here. Party store props, they even look like it still, even with the fancy new texture.
  25. The time is imply wasted on watching a whole video to get the specific points when it would take 30 seconds to read a recap in the thread that wants to discuss it. That is the main point and why I dislike videos just dumped in a thread. I have no issue with people making threads about a video discussing something, but please bring up bullet points if you do since not everyone is interested to watch a full video to catch the specific points in question. Or atleast make links to the specific time stamps you wanna discuss. But CC already does alot, it just doesnt do anything versus a few special units. Just as how certain damage skills wont do something about those same special units. There is a time and place for everything and so far CC is in a strong spot aslong as people dont expect it to be a be-all-end-all thing. I mean, the one lacking CC frame is really Limbo, because he is designed around on relying on his rift while Eximus ignore it along with his CC. Which more says that Lamebo should get a rework that improves him and makes him more friendly around allies aswell. So heh win-win in that case. For me one shots arent threatening, they end up being dull since there is no real room for engaging gameplay, mistakes or other similar things. And it ends up with only one defensive approach being viable the further you wanna push. This has always been an issue, hence why enemy damage has been reworked in different ways, but it still ends up at the bullet-hell outcome. Even one of the changes to reduce enemy damage kinda resulted in a double edged sword, since while their accuracy got reduced it also led to more RNG as you try to avoid bullets. Since the thing that initially would hit you, the thing you actively tried to avoid, might have actually missed that spot and instead gone in the direction you just moved, ending up hitting you. DE should probably cap enemy damage at some point and make levels scale their eHP only, since the more an enemy can take, the more uptime on damage towards you it has, resulting in eHP scaling effectively also scaling potential damage output of an enemy. This together with a rebalance of how much damage we can output could lead to more engaging gameplay options for future development. It would also allow players more options for defense since they'd know how much output an enemy would have at most. Something that levels could add to enemies would be more types of attacks, more active eximus units the higher the map level gets and so on. And instead of adding straight up damage the enemies could recieve a chance to spawn with elements on their weapons and the chance to inflict statuses. Making this different overtime and harder as we progress, since we might suddenly run into toxin damage or magnetic etc. Well yeah, but it also kinda removes the whole point, since CC is practically guaranteed passively at that point. I'm more talking about using specific CC skills to open up an enemy to something, so you actually need to consider using the skill and so on at the right moment. I mean I cant think of a weapon I use currently that doesnt instantly inflict some form of CC the moment I start dealing damage. For Loki it's more that there isnt much to do with him except turn him into another dps frame, because he already has access to strong defense in his invisibility and crazy CC with disarm. The thing they can avoid though is making him a nuke, which is more what Pablo implied the only step was. Though turning him into a dps frame wouldnt be bad and I wouldnt mind it aslong as it isnt just another AoE dps frame. He would for instance be a great candidate for another melee frame, since in the lore of the god Loki he is a master swordsman as skilled as Heimdal. So it would be possible to give him some form of thematic ability in that sense, either a melee buff or some melee type ability instead of switch teleport that could get merged with Decoy. This would also pair well with his stealth without really changing his identity or current strengths. Dont forget you can just flail in the general direction of a warden with your melee to kill it, if you run one with proper reach. Some weapon and stance combos get a bit wonky but most of them work to achieve it. I would enjoy more, but I'd prefer ground based units since I find the Warden too easy too pick off due to it floating above everyone. An enemy hidden among enemies with say shoulder/chest weakspots to kill would add more since you'd need to find it in the crowd. But I also think it's something they should consider for future content or a seperate version of current content similar to steel path, so people get eased into such things and wont have them forced on what they currently enjoy. Since it is mostly the future content we need more engagement in that can counter our insane power. The old is the old and we should be allowed to faceroll it since we've already spent hundreds aswell as thousands of hours doing it over and over and over and then over a bit more.
