  1. Wut--no x5 R5 Core drop increases?

I guess I could try looking at those empty slots on prime cores and will them to be filled; probably more chance to happen that way than filling them  with your current allocated drop rates.

    *sigh*

  2. the R5C packs do drop in tier 3 (lv20+) survival and interception like Nuovo, Palus, Yemaja, etc, but right now they share the rotation A drop list with multiple other items. This essentially makes its drop rate too low to be anything less than grinding at least 4 times as much just to get the same output as a single T4S run pre-15.13.

Rotation A for those missions still contain rewards players don't need from mid-level content like puny credit caches and unimportant mods that can be farmed elsewhere.

When you say the R5C packs "do drop" I'm afraid in my and my friends playing (perhaps 20hrs over the past 48) they, put simply, have not. After targeting them for previously mentioned hours (i.e., 20) my friends and I have yet to receive a single one. So, even you concede / admit to the rotation A drop being too low; the fact remains: nothing is nothing. That is precisely what has been received; that is why precisely modding--a large part of this game after all--cannot procede; and that is what precisely is killing the fun in this game.

So, I thank you Xarugas for your explanation; I hope DE might be as forthcoming and will rectify the R5C packs soon.

  3. They were never removed in the first place..

I saw everyone complaining about it and did some T4 survivals to check myself and bam. 5-15 cores every 40 min run. Still there after extraction.

Also they "added" them back into lvl 20+ missions last hotfix.

No clue why chat and forums is raging about R5`s...

    Update:

After reading each other's posts Elannor (see above post) and I play tested three games: Sedna, Grineer (lvl20+); Uranus, Grineer (lvl20+); and Void T4 Survival (15 mins). Not only did we NOT receive any x5 R5 core rewards--on any map--but we also noted seeing silver cores dropping in the Void. Twice.

Two days testing has demonstrated that contrary to what little has been explained: no x5 R5 cores are dropping as stated in the previous hotfix and there is no fix in this hotfix that addresses this problem.

Admittedly, while this testing is not exhaustive, it is quite conclusive.

So, again, DE--can you PLEASE address this as receiving a ridiculous TWO (that's right, TWO) R5 cores for two days playing is as absolutely outrageous as it is absolutely unacceptable.

Speaking on behalf of the community who I have played with over the last 36hrs--please correct the x5 R5 Core drops.

    Thank you.

That's funny--I and several friends spent a considerable time yesterday doing lvl20 runs and recieved not one x5 R5 core reward. Hence the obvious disappointed tone(s).

Will test now. I hope you're right.

PS Regarding being "added"--ya, they were--but in a diluted form unlike previously.

  5. R5 Cores remains unaddressed? Players spending unholy amounts of time playing to receive next to no R5 cores does not warrant fixing, DE?

C'mon already; you're better than this. Please fix this and allow us a viable way to obtain upgrades for our legendary Prime cores--which is something that older players of the game--would certainly appreciate.

  6. So I, along with other friends, pugs, and council Warframe players have spent the better part of today playing survival after survival after survival during which I have not witnessed a single x5 R5 Core drop. Neither did any of the other players say otherwise.

Meanwhile, council chat has said pretty much the same thing throughout today, too.

So how about you fix the fix please, DE--for Ford's sake! Starting to grow really tired of lameness and time-wasting on an issue that should never have been an issue in the first place. So not cool; so not the way forward; so not fun.

  7. For some Reason, R5 Core Droprates had to go down. What was available over X amount of playtime needed a decapitation of the top end of grinding availability. I can not see any justification for it and while the starchart change is appreciated, it does not change anything about the real problem, that you just bloated the average time to max out a primed mod from ~30 run a 40 minutes each to about double that amount of time? Not to mention the additional key grinding required?

Because you chose to replace the most needed resource in the game with a building resource that is literally obsolete and devoid of value for any veteran player who has finished building all items associated with it.

Sorry, this is NOT a solution to the problem you've created. Sheldon, time for duck and cover is over. This time you've taken it too far. This WILL cause a mass-exodus. My clan evaporated due to this update and i am unwilling to continue playing unless you fix this, as in restore a way of obtaining roughly the same amount of cores farmed per hour.

    +1

  8. Please do not play the to-fro-ing, cat and mouse, misinforming and concealing information game, DE. Especially not regarding R5 Cores. It has already been a horrendous waste of a weekend for many people--especially senior players--trying (in vain) to obtain enough R5 cores to dent--yes, only dent(!)--levelling up their primed mods.

Give us a fighting chance to have a life inside in and outside of Warframe. Would very much like to say, "Erm...yes [insert significant other's name here], won't be too long now, DE--whose game, you know, I love playing--have made obtaining R5 Cores reasonable again, so I really won't be long."

Give us a fighting chance to avoid that sinking heart feeling of having spent hours and hours and hours trying to obtain means to max cores (looking at you--primed) yet realising little, if anything of this aim, was achieved.

Give us a fighting chance to walk away with a smile and a spring in our steps; instead of walking away from the keyboard and screen and (somewhat awkwardly) looking downheartened and feeling guilty at spending so much time to achieve so little.

Give us a fighting chance, DE.

    Thankyou.

  9. I have 842 Orokin Cells; I have 2 R5 Cores.

Ya. Don't need cells, do need--badly--cores. Please bring them back as they were, or explain exactly HOW players are expected to max their mods.

Like most, if not all, people who play Warframe--I'd like to max my mods, especially the new primed ones, within a reasonable time-frame.

C'mon DE, be reasonable. Instead of killing the fun; kill the grind. Or at least some of it.
