You are understanding the process correctly.

If you only have 1 account/platform you play on and have progression in, you'll want to use the Account Link as you won't benefit from the account merge process.

If you have multiple accounts on different platforms with their own progression (i.e. PC account, PS4/5 account, Switch account) and want to merge them all together to combine your assets, you pick one account as the main account and then the other accounts (items, frames, weapons, mods, etc) get merged into the main account.

In both cases, the main/primary account designated becomes your singular account across all platforms (with the caveat of platform-specific skins/equipment only being usable when you use said account on said platform).

You said, "In both cases, the main/primary account designated becomes your singular account across all platforms..." and I got confused all over again. So, linking lets multiple accounts (Xbox and PC, for example) have access to each other so that I can access items on either account inside either account, yes? Then what does the merge option do, then? Will I basically only be able to access my account on one platform if I merge? Is that the idea?

Also, I can't really find anything this specific, but if I merge my Xbox account with my PC account (my PC account being the main account in this instance) and I am a Warlord on Xbox, what happens to the clan on Xbox if I remove myself via an account merge? Also, since I'm a bit thick in the head, if I merge my account, does that mean I can then use my PC account on Xbox? I'm a little fuzzy on the details.

  2. So, I have noticed this for years now, but I am finally tired of it.

As you know, turning your camera also turns your warframe's head in the direction of where you point your camera. HOWEVER, turning your head to the left, for some reason, goes SO much further to the left than to the right--so much so that your neck will look like a twisted pretzel and deform your character. But when looking to the right, you can only really look so far before your head just snaps back to center. It's by no means game breaking, but my goodness has it finally gotten on my nerves after so many years. I was hoping it would have been caught on its own. Alas, we can turn our heads almost 180 degrees and see behind us.

Below, you will be able to see how far left and right I can look before the head snaps back to center. Looking to the right really doesn't go too far at all.

This is not an Ash problem.

This is a universal problem that has existed in Warframe since... always probably. Well at least for as long as I have been playing this game. Certain states take priority over others and the hierarchy that takes place here doesn't really make much sense. Grineer can get so hell-bent on hacking a console that they will outright ignore certain CC effects.

The only upside of this system is that rolling makes you immune to most control effects, which makes it one of the few skill-based mechanics in Warframe. It seems like it would be  intentional, but given how weird the game is with this sort of thing, I believe it's just a side-effect of the whole state priority situation I mentioned.

Actually, before we had to interact to do finishers, Ash's teleport would automatically initiate the finisher regardless of animation or place. Even enemies on consoles trying to lockdown. Though, yes, there has been an ongoing issue like you mention above.

  4. So, I was an Ash main for a long time, but wanted to switch it up a bit when Gauss came out. With Ash's new skin being released, I figured it was time to dust off the ol' boy and bring terror to all my fellow Corpus and Grineer. HOWEVER, I've noticed a few things that really bring down the QoL on Ash.

For starters, and most importantly to be addressed, Ash's teleport onto enemies to open them up for finishers only seems to work about 50% of the time. Since we have to "interact" now to do finishers, sometimes and enemy that is already stuck in an animation (like when Ash uses his second ability and they stumble), teleporting to the enemy will not allow the finisher. Also, when enemies find themselves in their cover animation, finishers from Ash's teleport also do not work 100% of the time. It's becoming really annoying.

The other thing I have always wondered about was Ash's Shuriken. I mean, okay, two projectiles seems really strange to have if I'm being honest. But that will likely never change and I've come to terms with that. However, I don't understand why his Shurikens cannot hit multiple enemies. I might have seen it happen a couple of times, but I've never been able to verify it. But since there are only 2 projectiles, and only 2 enemies can be hit, the ability just always seems like it needs that extra "umph." I can't complain about his invisibility or his fourth, thought I find it amusing that Ash's hidden blades don't really special to him alone anymore with all warframes having their own Parazon.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm a sucker for Ash. He got touched up a bit before with the Bladestorm rework, but I really was hoping for more. Maybe the future holds more promise. Thoughts?

  5. We are the Children of Mandalore! Those guys with the jetpacks from Star Wars who always died that horrible death! Well… in actuality the Mandalorians are better than that but not everyone who plays Warframe actually cares. Sufficeth to say, Tenno and Mandalorian alike are honorable warriors and strike fear into the hearts of their enemies.

Leader OriVerda and sub-leaders MopUpCrewman and Kunsumption form the remains of a great clan. We are the go-to guys if you are new and need help getting better without all the fanatical seriousness of a professional clan.

        N.1.png

We expect both new and old members who join to be respectful and to be active, at least a reasonable amount. If you're active, then you by all means qualify. We're a laid-back group with the only reasonable rules of respect and active play. We also require that you be at least MR 5.

Want to be a lone wolf? Sure, that's okay, go off and enjoy the luxuries of our dojo and research and build yourself up. Team player? Scribble down a request in the clan chat, our Discord, or PM a clanmate directly in-game to get some assistance! Odds are, once we get some more activity, there's someone willing to give a hand. New recruit in need of a tutor? Same drill! We have different time-zones and there will likely be a player to help, like MopUpCrewman or Kunsumption.

Contrary to popular belief, knowing what the hell a Mandalorian is or what the haran words like haran mean is not required. But OriVerda will strongly encourage it. There are actually several lessons spread out throughout the Dojo which summarize Mandalorian history and culture in 53 lessons. For more questions ask OriVerda.

We do have a policy for inactivity too; if you're inactive for two weeks and leave no notice, then you will be kicked. We understand real-life comes first, people can get injured or need some away time from a computer or even suffer from ninja burnout. Our Discord is the best way to ensure that you can remain in the clan if you’re going to be away for more than two weeks. Just make sure to give us a rough estimate as to the amount of time you will be away, and we will work with you.

-Our dojo is always being changed and altered. Our original Old Halls are filled with history and reminicant feelings!

-All of the labs done and research are nearly complete!

-All of the old and new clan halls!

-A well decorated Grandest Hall with easy access to research!

-A "catacombs" section, containing the old Dojo and old tileset!

-Many Transporters to ferry you around!

        -A Clan Emblem!

        -A Trading kiosk!

        -A Treasury!

-Some Zen Garden rooms and all of the Taiko Drums done!

-Some pretty cool decorations spread here and there!

-A laid-back, tight-knit community where all are welcome!

-A Dojo Cephalon! (Be on the lookout our good ol’ Ceph)

-Most of the Dojo colour Pigments!

Feel free to ask questions in-game, PM on the forums, the Discord, or in this topic. We also offer a tour service. Be warned! If you get lost in the old catacombs section of the Dojo and are inadvertently eaten by ghosts, we cannot be held responsible.

We have a unique Mandalorian-style hierarchy. These are in the Mando'a language but we've included some translations here. When you reach a certain rank you can become eligible to have your very own room complete with decorations. Promotions are given out based on a number of factors, primarily activity and contributions (of any kind). Whether it is in-game or on the Warframe forums. Provided someone in the chain of command hears of it, you will slowly make your way.

Being a Mandalorian-styled Clan we try to incorporate as much as we can from the canon. Part of that can be seen in the 53 lessons in the Dojo, the ranks, and the ceremonial duel which is required prior to a promotion.

Slightly different from a typical Mandalorian rule, we have a circle of three leaders that converse to bring the best out for the clan. OriVerda, MopUpCrewman, and Kunsumption are all capable of hearing your pleas, suggestions, problems, and ideas. The best way to get communicate with them is through our Discord at https://discord.gg/x8N7zFT.

  6. So, I have only recently acquired Revenant. I have seen a lot about him appearing "Lackluster" and not many are very thrilled with his abilities. On the upside, I suppose, Quite Shallow gave him a 7/10.

However, as far as my personal experience has gone so far, I agree that he needs... "something." Something isn't quite right.

I will continue to modify and build this whole thread up as I play along with him, but my first insight would be for his first ability.

At first, you see, I thought 4 would not be NEARLY enough. (Not really an "army" if you ask me) But, with some thought, I had the idea that we can keep the four mas count of Enthrall as long as every time an enemy is affected by an Enthralled enemy actually resets the Enthrall timer. It's rather irksome when my enthralled pal "Giddy the Grineer" finally decides to shoot something only when his timer had 3 seconds left to shoot another enemy. This would at least keep enemies under your first ability, and it would make the first ability worth using. But, I figure to slightly give this ability some vulnerability, instead of lasting forever, every reset of the timer reduces the time by 3 seconds. Maybe. This is just my first idea to make this ability actually worth using.

well I add the ''+'' to say that it's more resistant to this kind of damage

Sure, yea, but just because you say it like that does not mean it is correct. That is like saying, for the sake of example, that Positive numbers look like this: -6, -7, -8, -9, etc. and negative numbers looks like this: 1, 2, 3, 4.

    It's just wrong lol

Energy Drain mode does make it harder as operator.

It's a good video. Got yourself into a sticky spot in the middle there.

I'm glad you liked the challenge ^-^

Taking a screen shot the the mission countdown was needed. The other thing I noticed was your use of Excaliber Umbra. He becomes a combat companion when your in Operator mode, thu can't be used for this challenge. I should of updated the rules after The Scarafice update. I'm sorry, but your entry doen't qualify.

Well, it's the 18th now, so this challenge is now closed. I'm glad to see that everyone had fun with this one. I'm going to record a video of Raft and then I'll be in my dojo adding some decorations to the research hall. I'll send out invites while I'm doing that.

I'll also be starting my next challenge in a few weeks time, my first multi-player challenge.

You took days to reply to me, and now I am sad 😄

    Right here.

I too like the idea of Umbra doing quick and savage moves as a contrast to the tame variant. Nice interpretation, Loza!

We have another! One by one, this will get to DE! I mean, somebody has to see it eventually right?

  10. Hello everybody! This topic does not have spoilers for the Sacrifice Quest, BUT I do have a question concerning one of the animations of Umbra during the intro Cinematic. He pulls the Exalted blade from his shoulder instated of from his hands like the current animation of Excal. However, I find that this animation is better suited to his ferocity. Mirage Prime got her animation changed once her prime trailer came out. Why can't the Poster boy get this small little change? ❤️

I got a temporary solution, if you have a Turtle Beach headset, use the "Superhuman Hearing" function and lower everything else. Still needs some patch from the devs...

    I have Astro A50s lol

  12. I have started to have the same problem actually. All my levels are fine, and 100% in terms of output. I know my game is louder than how it is right now. I used to need to turn down my headphones, but now I have to turn them up all the way to get sound, and computer notifications startle me too.
