Am I crazy? Or is the new Avionics setup jarring?
We spent WEEKS fighting for changes that would simplify and bring some intuition to the Railjack UI. Now the indications of what house are completely meaningless and I'm finding the "value" of "house name" to be distracting while setting up my railjack again.
Maybe I'm just salty cus I have to click 1000x to rank all my avionics again and I'm over reacting.... Where did click and hold go? I thought that was a god solution, now its gone? lol Ugh...-

Basically as I said in the title, the lowest item on screen in 3rd column shifts down a row as demonstrated in this video.
Giving me a heart attack when the last item in my wreckage is something I'm trying to keep lol. -
I've been excited to check this out @Synpai Thanks so much for putting all the effort and gathering this mountain of thoughts for us.
I'm not really great at coming up with ideas for anything game design related, so this could just be another complete shot in the dark, but I think I have an idea for dealing with the shields problem. Maybe not entirely, maybe not for the rest of the game whatsoever, but I think just for the Railjack's Shields specifically.
Hear me out / please debate everything here because I can't really base my ideas in any foundation of "will it work" because I'm a pretty amateur ass gamer relative to most people playing this game. Many of whom have actual professional opinions to bring to the table. I just want to talk about it lol.
NOW! Would it be crazy.... if Railjack Sheilds.... were like Nullifier shields....???
- Good and big. I'm thinking 200-250m.
- Give it similar stats like Heat and Cooldown on Turrets? (Can take XXX hits, this avionic give you 20% more etc)
- Enemies inside are slowed for 5s (or more?) on entry. (ie. amesha's 3)
- Each hit reduces shield size
- Each hit decreases in effectiveness (shields getting slightly stronger) until it breaks.
- Implement gating? (this is where i'm like "uhh i only know gating works/feels good")
Avionic Idea: (Tactical??)
- Warn pilot of impending gating, giving pilot time to position railjack and blast EMP shockwave for maybe... 500m? (Can consume Dome charges to increase use/value of those?)

I was trying to get Excalibur Umbra to automatically use starboard turrets and fire at enemies while in operator mode walking around and pilot, but no this doesn't work and only get stuck. My expectation is ruined by bugs.
Edit: As an update, this idea came from being able to capture and transference at the same time in Capture missions, which works as host but can possibly not work while not host due to lag. TBH though I don't think that'll work. That is, unless I'm just a big newb and never noticed that Umbra will get on a Gun Turret etc. In which case it should work!
They might have blocked it from workign that way though if there's a system they intend to implement later on.
From what I understand they want Railjack to be possible as a solo affair. Some ideas going around are bots on turrets for example.

If DE didn't want to get lambasted over Railjack, perhaps they should have kept in in house until,you know, it was actually complete and ready for launch. Try telling that to the Rebecca cultists here or on Reddit though, and be prepared for a whole corps of white knights to come riding to the rescue.
DE is not an indie company anymore, so stop defending them like one. If any other game developer pulled the stunts DE has they'd be getting rightfully raked over the coals for it, but DE gets a free pass because muh underdog indie hipster game.

As mentioned in title, my mouse sensitivity keeps dropping, seemingly without reason. It can be quickly, but temporarily fixed by getting out of pilot/gunner seat, and re-entering. This fix can last anywhere from 1 second to 10 mins. Seems to be triggered by something I do, rather than something the game is doing, then again I honestly don't know if I'm able to distinguish that.
Happens to both host and client.Here's a clip of getting around bug.
Before exiting pilots seat, You can see shorter movements which are actually moving my hand 1ft across the mousepad. After getting back into seat, all is normal. -

I agree this should be fixed, but how is this something you have happen frequently? lol Don't use transference at the same time as mounting a turret. Also, some advice, stay out of the turrets lol. They've quickly become redundant/an actual impediment to mission completion.

You didn't get scammed... You misunderstood. Just as I did until reading that this was happening.
I think it's an easy mistake that should be looked at to clarify WHAT that purchase is for, but you haven't been scammed when they're not called "wreckage slots." -

And that's the issue have, and what people want answers for.
Yes, it's great that some money is going to a food bank. But it is literally the same as me saying 'If you pay me £100, I'll donate £12.50 to charity'. They've said '$8,000 has been raised', which means over 60k worth of plat has been spent so far.
Serious question, where is everybody getting this information? The website says $0.25 per gift given regardless of price, implying that 32,000 gifts have been exhanged. I've seen several people copy and paste this "100 for me 12.50 for you" theme, in their local currencies, without anything to back it up.
I'll reiterate that big plat is different, I barely understand it myself cus I have 275p right now lol, but I have friends who have big plat that I've asked about it in the past. Their plat is OLD. People are surely going to spend some new money to buy tennobaum gifts, I never tried to get around that, in fact, I started my post with that very idea as I spent 20 of my Canadian Rupees to get a bit so I can gift a few things... but anybody with over 100k plat, likely hasn't earned much of it in the last 2 years and unless they're "that guy" who buys all the prime access packs, they likely haven't spent money on much of it either.
Also, if gifting things to your fellow tenno isn't "frame of fun" enough, then perhaps donating isn't something you're truly interested in.

While many of us are in the same boat, the one which we buy plat with human money and gift a few things here and there. Much like human money though, there's a top 1% who have 100k - 5 million plat. This plat is earned through selling rivens, prime parts etc, which costs nobody anything but their time. The 50-100p I end up spending on friends and new tenno will pale in comparison to the amount other people will spend.
I know I'm not making my point as well as I'd like, but to assume DE is making mad bank off this initiative is to be ignorant of how Warframe's economy actually operates.
The leaderboard issue throws and even bigger curve ball into the mix. People are complaining DE will make too much money, yet they want a leaderboard to encourage people to spend more money??? If a leaderboard is what you're after, then I struggle to understand how you might actually care about donating to a cause.
Long story short? Chill out, people. This is simply a little holiday season fun that JUST SO HAPPENS to have a charitable cause. So what if it's not as great as years past, it's certainly going to put more money towards a food bank than I, you, or any of us could on an individual basis. -
I might be experiencing this as well often with paracesis. Haven't really felt it out. I just assumed I've been accidentally holding E too long while spamming and they maybe put heavy attack back to Hold E. Which, if it IS intended... I'm still not entirely pleased lol. I imagine it could be to assist people who play with controller both on PC and console? because R3 for heavy attack would be BALLS. Even I switched mine to scroll wheel Down.
Whatever the case, there should be a Toggle on/off for Hold E = Heavy Melee. Lol

To be clear I do not have epilepsy so I can't tell per se, but there's some mad flickering in my Bio Lab on the left and right containment units behind the center console.
I have deferred rendering on.
