  1. So, I finally got the smoke body ephemera yesterday from Stalker and was a little surprised to see its crafting requirements.

From the opinions of people who already have the smoke body ephemera, is it worth the parts needed to craft it? Do you like it?

  2. Well this is only season one. It was supposed to be a cool thing for the first season I guess. They will probably give more out later.

At least put it on something useful though, I don't get what point you are trying to make by wasting it on excal umbra.

Go back and read what he actually said. He's not talking about status. He's talking about status duration. A little reading comprehension never hurt anyone.

I still disagree. You don't have to insult me because I did not put status duration and left the second part out.

  4. I personally detest Rhino's heavy slam thing because it really slows the pace of the game down and makes movement really awkward whenever you jump from high places (which happens pretty frequently). The passive of Inaros when he turns into the coffin is also pretty dumb and pointless.

  5. This might seem really obvious to some people, but are the nightwave challenges repeating themselves every week?

I feel like every week there are 4 or 5 challenges that I have already done before. Why can new challenges not be added?
Re-using half of the "new" weekly challenges makes the entire process really stale and uninteresting in my opinion.

  6. Yeah DE lately has seemed way more interested in releasing droves of new content instead of fixing the base fibers of the game.

Frames like Vauban and Wukong have been irrelevant for months and they still have done nothing to help them. I honestly do not agree with the whole "3 new warframes every year" thing. It takes focus off of the warframes already in the game and brings in unbalanced and uneeded frames, but that might just be me.

I don't know if it's so much "afraid" of reworking older frames as they are afraid of losing interest in WF from not releasing new content all the time.

Personally, I think that's a bad way to look at it. If you look at games like PSO, people still play that today despite not having any new content since 2004, and most of the people that do play it are primarily playing the original 1999 content. Games like CSGO also don't really get much in the way of new content, but revisits to old content actually get a lot of traction/get people playing again.

Personally, I think tweaking meta content would likely see just as much of a positive response from the community as a new warframe(which, frankly, isn't really exciting anymore) provided that they're actually improving it; fixing bugs, streamlining mechanics, and adding nuance, rather than the usual increased timegating, new rewards to loot, or "harder"(more annoying) enemies.

If not for Nightwave, a super terrible and boring event topped by a messy, broken boss fight, a new warframe, a new prime, and a remaster of POE stealing attention away from the melee rework, I'd wager people would be very positively receiving that, and talking about all the ways it can be improved with subsequent hotfixes. It really was a step in the right direction, and has a lot of potential, despite some work needed in getting the interface right. Most of it would be pretty easy stuff, some of it less so. But, all the attention is on nightwave being a mess, exploiter orb being broken, and a bunch of community drama.

I think they are very much "afraid" of going back and re-working old frames because, like I said, fixing frames like Wukong and Vauban requires editing some aspects of the game which they seem to either be afraid of messing up or just unwilling to do. I think it's unfair that they always put so much work into "Let's make this warframe, then let's make this one". Like I might be alone here, but we don't need 3 warframes every year. It is not fun or really necessary in my opinion. They need to go back and look at some of the issues already present in the game before adding new stuff in.

also comparing Csgo to warframe is not really a fair comparison but I get the point you're trying to make 🙂

Just on the fact that it's fire alone does not mean it's better for Ember, per se.  I think that'd be a bit tunnel-vision'd.

It certainly wouldn't hurt as an Augment, but Ember is more of an AoE frame, not so much a direct, single-target damage dealer. And she excels at that.

I could see Wisp's ult remaining the same, just altered to be more of a "Dark" energy, rather than "expedited from the Sun".  Also, I like the idea of using the 1st Ability's wisps to POWER the 4th, such that it prevents it from just being mindlessly "Press 4 to kill all the thingz".

I'd like to ADD to my OP, adding in that 3's effects should SCALE depending on a thing or two, such as "If Green, are OTHER Green Wisps within range of THIS Green Wisp?  If so, Speed is boosted even MORE!"  OR you could just scale it depending on how many, out of the total available, deployed Wisps, are matching, and the power of their effect would scale from there.

Like, say she has 6 Wisps out, but 5 of the 6 are Green.  Then the enemies entering the AoE would be MASSIVELY slowed down...whereas if only 2 were Green, the slow effect would be much less impactful, but the effect of the OTHER colored Wisps might be more significant.

Does that make sense? Like, it'd allow the player to scale the abilities ON-THE-GO to fit the situation!  Making her an AMAZING Defensive/Support frame!

    Nice
