  1. Parkour speed is a weird one for me, I don't know what it's even doing in the game. Should be movement speed or attack speed or both.

For volt you use have to get used to jogging and right clicking to aim to stabilize for cornering.

Dictating and getting upset/raging at other players is a slippery slope. If you want to play co-op games you gotta be equally tolerant and down to earth, relative to the amount of chaos.

  2. If you are a lore guy sure, you kind of have to play through all of it.

However If I were my own former self coming into the game now, I'd tell myself to just farm plat and skip everything. Build up mods and arcanes using that plat then over time grind useful frames for helminth.

Get an ignis wraith and a glaive prime, or any glaive really, and either use a frame that has armor/shield strip or get the ability through the helminth system.

Personally, I'd rather farm plat playing the way I want than grinding khal missions for the khal store mods. I also skipped the yareli dojo room because I don't enjoy k-drives or find them meaningful in any way. Also never been to duviri because I am not a fan of the 2D roll and slash mechanics.

    But to each their own.

Realistically you will rarely need to be able to play or have a good build but it gives you something to play to keep building and for the few times you do have to carry the team, you will be glad you did.

Once you get that first frame up there you can start building a frame for every occasion, stealth, disruption and so on, Sanctuary Onslaught.

... hours of S#&$ty gameplay, albeit with good story and cinematics.

But yeah you are not wrong. Especially with not being able to play the story missions with friends

Flipside of that is it's f2p and you aren't required to do anything. So you can show up for sortie or relics and start earning no matter what, unlike other games there are very few mechanics holding you back.

  4. I don't know, I see both sides.

Like for duviri for me personally, I think the batman arkham 2009 2D roll and slash console mechanics were just tragic and so I was actually happy I had the option to totally skip it, which I have. Plus, I'd rather play operator.

I was worried some of the drifter intrinsics would be for universal gameplay but because they weren't, I have never set foot in duviri and don't plan to either.

With how uninspired the gameplay often is, such as khal maps, I am a huge supporter of being able to skip content.

  5. D&D really represents the opposite of warframe, with an actual structure, rules, order and consistency.

When there is no standard, you can't be held accountable for anything, "welcome to beta" as they - still - call their philosophy.

So khora can CC on the index, others can't, some frames can CC through overguards, others are disabled. Some abilties work against some bosses, some don't.

Some abilities can splash through walls think of Saryn, needs must have line of sight. Some weapons have nerfed ammo... others have unlimited ammo.

No matter which feature or system you examine, there are no rules or any kind of consistency, because that way it is what they say it is on any given day.

But yeah as someone who played both original Neverwinter nights and Neverwinter nights 2, there is definitely a lot of cool powers, abilities and animations that could be leeched.

For instance Loki should obviously had been a shifter as they are in Nordic mythos... which just so happen Nwn and D&D has a shifter class but meh, generational amnesia I guess what are you going to do, they grew up on pokemon and transfomers.

  6. I mean I feel ya.

From 2018 I installed the game and up until operation orphix venom the original event, I don't think I even had arcanes. For the simple reason I refuse to grind eidolons.

During the event I had time to grind stacks of the most expensive ones and ended up never using them anyway, lol.

I use zenurik to regen and literally only use the one school and ability on everything.

Anyway one option is going for the zariman arcanes, The "molt" category on the wiki. Don't know if the duviri arcanes are worth getting or worth grinding, never played it.

Similarly, I am assuming they will release sets of arcanes with updates regularly so you could also just wait and see.

  7. The one for this week, Nira, is particularly annoying since they heal but also have MOA's show up and heal them.

But yeah overguard and archons are just HP sponging at its finest. I get people cursing in the chat everytime I play it and also leaving a lot.

You just end up standing there clicking one button to shoot for 20 minutes because you can't do much else.

One guy even said you should use Ivara and sit on a wire above ground behind stealth... lol, exciting.

I don't know why you even talk to me to be honest.

You want to just deny everything, deny water is wet - I mean you must have a really low opinion of people's intelligence, like there was no nerf based on your word at face value... as a developer apologist.

Okay everyone shut the forum down, this guy over just announced everything-is-perfect.com.

You do understand no developer apologist in the history of video gaming as even been taken seriously, right? It's on you to make your way back to reality, I don't know what more I can do for you. Wish you good luck?

You dont understand what the E's refer to and yet you are here complaining about melee "automation"? When it wont actually get automated at all since the change is going from spamming E to holding E. You are still required to interact with the button for the same exact amount of time to pull of the whole combo or reach X part of the combo.

Unless of course you also consider using a gun with auto or hold trigger as "automated".

I mean serious question, do you even play the game, have you ever played it?

I am still not reading any points, what are you saying?

I had said the wukong nerf last year was pointless, because:

    a. China is numero uno

    b. Mobile market is China is mobile

    c. They grew up on mobile, not PC, not console, mobile.

    d. Mobile is automation. China is automation.

    e. Wukong is China, Wukong is automation.

Then recently on top of "why-go-to-war-with-the-biggest-gaming-market-on-the-planet-for-no-reason" debate, we also got "developers-backstab-developer-apologists-in-the-back-by-re-introducing-AoE-spam" and now "double-backstab-through-automation".

Thats' gotta sting being a developer apologist these days eh? Really, really making you work for that forum moderator lol, think you getting it this year or?

But eh, thanks for typing out that "E combo", that really gave everyone something to think about!!!1

The word doesnt mean what you think it means.

Wukong = Klone, automated A.I that does things on its own after getting summoned.

Auto-melee = They switch E, E, E, E, E and ^ + E, E, E, E, E to E-hold and ^ + E-hold. You still very much need to interact with it the same amount of time as you currently do. It just helps younger people to not break their hands/wrists and older people to be able to play melee with their already broken hands and wrists. It also prolongs the lifetime of your KB/M/Controler since you no longer need to mash a single button over and over.

As to AoE spam getting re-installed. It never went away and if you want Incarnon for AoE it still doesnt equal pure AoE since you do need to build up the charges which takes a longer time than reloading in most content, then the biggest AoE options within the system have very limited charges. The best options are still the hybrids that sacrifice pure AoE to also be deadly for single target, like Torid, Burston, Furis and Angstrum, or pure single target options like Dual Toxocyst. Then you have things like Strun that does great damage with AoE, but is a pita to build charges on, like every other shotgun, so you are really better of just picking up a Zarr, Probo Cernos or Sporelacer secondary in that case.

    So what is your point?

I am just looking at a wall of gibberish, but thanks for typing out a bunch of "E's", what a treat to read over.

  11. Anyone in here defending the dojo building system is clearly new to the process and never had to install the raijlack room.

There are a lot of things people have been asking for over the years for dojos and of course the paying customer is free to ask for anything he wants out of a product.

In this particular case the question is what the system offers this player in so far as support, guidence and explanation of the building features.

Is there even a manual on building things in-game? Is there an option to move room using an overview? Or are you forced to destroy, then wait out another timer and so on.

Not huge on any of it myself after my run-in with the railjack room for ours, but I can guess there have been dojo feedback threads out there for 8 years asking for similar QOL, upgrades, new features etc.

When a guy comes on the forums tells you he enjoys a feature, you really need to think twice before hitting him over the head, at least he cares about the game, that should be celebrated.
