In the case of Warframe, I do not want this. And the reason being that I do not like the idea that support staff's job could be in any way shape or form, put in any kind of danger or scrutiny because of the sheer mass of spoiled kids that simply dont get what they want when they contact support and give mass low ratings. Or you know, leave salty comments for the support rep after the ticket gets closed.

Constructive feedback about support quality can be left in the feedback section of the forum, and other people can chime in on that if they can relate to your case. But a rating after you get a response that could be potentially traced to a specific staff member that is doing their job, no.

What you say makes absolutely sense, but do you really think this community is like this? If anything, this is the nicest community I have ever been a part of in over a decade of gaming.

But alright, let's assume that you are right (because humans gonna human), how is someone rating support ''poor'' ''bad'' or ''unsatisfied'' going to affect an employee's safety?

If you are instead referring to psychological harm, then it depends on whether you implement an open-answer feedback form or one with pre-made answers like a poll. Not only that, you can safely assume that anyone working as a support employee has had some form of prior psychological training. (This is not an excuse to be an A****** though!)

Any job that involves handling customers has their own methods of dealing with them and in some rather extreme jobs like Doctor or nurse, very elaborate psychological evaluations.

Usually the "Support feedback" consists in a "Are you satisfied ? Y/N" or a star-ranking system.

I'm not sure this would be really helpful. Would just add a lot of work for basically not much benefit.

Without any context at the bare minimum it shows whether the article is well understood and comprehensible.

Without context an employee may not know why it has received this rating but he will know that something must be wrong or else it would not have been marked as unhelpful.

On the contrast, an article with a lot of positive feedback reinforces the idea that the way it was written, was very concise and well done.

Feedback systems can be made more elaborate to increase the relevancy of the gathered data by asking the right questions with additional context.

I do not believe that I have found a single game company that has this option. I see no real reason for it with Warframe. You have to consider: would the positive feedback outweigh the negative?

Studio Wildcard (developers from Ark Survival Evolved)

    Blizzard Entertainment

    Ankama

and some non-gaming companies I remember corresponding with:

    Microsoft

    Sony

    PureVPN

    Google

Feedback can be given in many ways. Even something as simple as a ''Was this article helpful?'' Yes/No in a FAQ article is a form of feedback.

    As for your second argument:

If the negative outweighs the positive then there is probably a reason for that, a reason DE should give priority to find out to improve their services.

  4. Most game companies I have corresponded with allow you to rate the support you received. I would like to see something similar on Warframe so I can leave some constructive feedback if I feel it wasn't handled quite as well. Alternatively, I have had quite a few occasions where I was exceptionally satisfied with support and I wanted to show my appreciation with a little ''thank you'' but you can't without reopening the ticket, which is quite bothersome for DE's organization.

  5. Have the Sovereign Syandana issues been fixed yet? (For example the horrible clipping)

Does it flow like the Repala now?

I don't feel like buying a product that I can't refund if it does not meet my expectations.

Why do these threads have to pop up every time someone gets a chat ban? You would think instead of blaming the chat system they would hold themselves accountable and accept the consequences, or maybe parents do not teach this anymore. I do agree though that you should be notified of how long the ban will be for instead of being left to guess or bother support (they do have more important issues than someone's hour to seven day chat ban).

I will hold myself accountable when I know what I did wrong.

Inb4 you ask, no I have never received a chat ban because I don't use the chat in the first place but I can absolutely imagine how I would react in that situation.

  7. What makes TotalBiscuit so special?

Ow, he made interesting Youtube content.

I am sorry, but it leaves a very sour taste in my mouth that someone ''famous'' must die before we care about paying respect to the dead. Why not show some love and dedication to the person or people who are there for you, every day to support you? Why do we glorify some celebrity if we should glorify those who love us instead.

If you feel strong feelings about this particular celebrity, that is completely fine. Everyone was all running in tears when Michael Jackson passed away, but in the end, it are those standing next to you who matter the most. Give them some love while they live.

They..didn't drop melee 3.0? The only change was melee through objects and walls.

Not the only change. They also Clemmed up the combo system, without even making the charged attack faster to execute.

The only reason I am not screaming my lungs out with rage is because Bloodrush and Berserker still work as they always did and apply their bonuses to light attacks as well, however, it still feels a nerf. I used to hit much harder with the Venka Prime because the base damage didn't get a buff and damage doesn't scale anymore.

A hard cap of 1-2m melee punch through would have sufficed on melee instead of completely removing punch through to absolve the wall-camping nature of spamming melee against enemies through  walls. It would have also solved the glitchy matter of object and level geometry forcefully “ghosting” melee attacks that should visibly hit but are not and would restrict punch through into walls based on how thick tileset walls are.

Why this isn’t implemented or considered yet is beyond me, since a lot of players are complaining about their melee weapons not connecting on hit on PC.

Wow, I hadn't even thought about that. How stupid of me. Mind if I incorporate that into the OP?

  10. Where are the new stances/combos? Why is channeling still in the game? What about the directional ground slam attacks?

The changes I have been looking forward to have simply not been implemented.

What happened to the blocking? And, did all melee weapons across the board even get a base damage buff? I don't feel it and I don't see it.

  11. Try using a different computer and see if the bug is bound to your account. My account is bugged that clicking Upgrade on Valkyr Prime in the arsenal will always create a massive lag spike on my laptop. On my high-end Threadripper computer it crashes the game instead. After restarting Warframe I can access Valkyr Primes mods again. When one of my real life friends come over to play, he has no trouble accessing Valkyr Prime on my hardware. So account bound bugs definitely do exist.
