  1. So what you guys are doing with railjack gave me a bigger head ache than the void storm missions. There is a bug that if you have an electrical hazard aboard your ship and it gets repaired by someone who has around 150 ping (I am the host in this scenario), if you go into the tactical menu, you will be locked in an epilepsy seizure inducing screen that locks you in it until the mission ends and you are able to leave or Alt+F4. I don't have issues with flashing lights but this was extremely painful to look at it. I ended up turning off my monitor and just waited for someone in discord to tell me the mission was over and then Alt + F4ed my game. Even worse i was locked into the pilot seat so I messed up the mission.
Not sure about fixes to this other than being able to restrict who enters your game so you dont get people with extremely crazy pings. I am sick and tired of getting people with over 350 ping in my missions delaying them and they either dont leave or cant walk through a door and help end the mission. It would alleviate a decent portion of the bugs i come across and this epilepsy head ache of a bug will keep me from playing for a good long while especially railjack. That being said I have always been in the group of people who want vote kick. I am not a fan of lag especially when its due to a person. Bring a vote kick option in a mission.

  2. DE, check on the forums for warframe necessary fixes and questions. Some frames dont work are aren't usable anymore or just arent strong in any sort of way.
Also, was it intended for Zephyr's tornados to not receive damage from aoe weapons? I tried using bubonico and for some reason the damage never registered in the tornados at all. No damage numbers, and the enemies never took damage unless i shot the explosive aoes into the center to hit them directly. I'll need to do more testing but is this a bug or nah?

  3. Catabolyst pistol does not work on mirage, wukong, and Umbra. On reload, the ammo tank is thrown at the floor and aims at the center point below the map.
Seriously, too many glitches came with Deimos Arcana and too many came back. What is up with that?
Fulmination does not affect the blast radius for some reason? I dont know anymore. Someone explain this to me...

  4. So I gained around 4 Lvs on Bonewidow and 9 Bonus Lvs. Host left squad and I lost the Bonus lvs. and then when I left squad to leave I lost the actual Lvs I had gained myself. So here is the deal, you guys can Lv my Necramech for me. Both of them to mastery and slot in the forma for me since I have no intention of getting on till the issue is fixed. I already had to deal with weeks of Voidrig being buggy, breaking, falling through the map in voidrig, losing 4M affinity on my voidrig, and I am not about to do the same on Bonewidow. Stop lying and making empty promises. I am tired of old bugs still polluting the game when you claim they are "fixed". Feel free to email me to let me know when you finish Lving my stuff since necramech isn't exactly fun to Lv without a booster or when your work just magically disappears.

November 27th....we finally get confirmation that the promises from earlier this year, deep into the pandemic, are not being met.  Surprise...

Sarcasm aside, 2020 is the poorest year of warframe with content, hollow promises, 2019 sloppy cleanup, and despite this the year seems to have more bugs now than January 1st 2020.  I'm willing to accept the pandemic...the work from home...and even the crawl in content.  Where I'm having huge issues is the general non-stop content promises, the poor delivery, and the insane lack of communication.  By this I mean Tennocon promises for 2020 are generally not being met, and this was after announcing the pause on railjack, the Duviri paradox push-back, and the lack of features promised again and again.

Let me do this fairly.  Scarlet Spear gets a pass...because it's pages of problems.  The corpus ship tileset gets a pass....despite still having stuff spawn outside of the map and the breakages in the one new game addition.  Xaku is even getting a pass....because I think that rabbit hole is miles deep.  Two updates, a rework of void damage, and he might be mediocre.

Now, let's focus on Deimos as a whole.  It didn't introduce a new area, but repurpose the derelicts.  This was a decent idea, as the requirement to build keys to access the derelicts meant that it was content most players ignored.  This mirrored the changed to the void from years ago.  So, starting out on the right foot.

The next bit is the scope and scale.  This new open world is a copy paste.  That is to say a central hub, a set of features common to all of the worlds, and an idiotic time interface so you've got an arbitrary timer that can act as a barrier to grind.  This world would be smaller, but if the content quantity matched the other areas it would be a boon.  That is to say the content density would be much higher, so less time would be running from area to area.  Not a fantastic start....but it wasn't bad.

Now, let's talk release.  Despite this being the third open world, it was buggy.  It wasn't new bugs either.  You fell through the world, had hosting issues, were introduced to another largely grind island experience, and most frustratingly of all you've got a litany of new mechanics which obfuscate grind through layering.  Yes, you actually get tokens and the central missions were more vital, but then you needed Grandmother tokens, and were forced to engage with every mechanic constantly because the trade for things is on a new arbitrary timer.  Ouch.

The next step was the Isolation Vaults.  Functionally these aren't a bad idea, but practically they're a time locked mess that relies upon RNG almost exclusively.  It's literally the same mission three times, and you'll be doing this largely waiting timer mess constantly to get a sub 1% drop rate mod for the new necramechs.  Not fun, and you're too stubborn to ever fix this.

Now, it's months later.  Instead of taking feedback, you decide to add more grind.  Yes, you still need to do the isolation vaults, but you then need to grind through more missions to get a chance at the new stuff.  Note, you need 21 of 7 new arcanes....meaning a minimum of 147 rewards cycles offered 5 at a pop.  For the record, these take about 10 minutes each (with a good team), so that's 30 full rewards cycles assuming RNGesus blesses you.  Realistically it's much more, because 6 endo drops in a row is the game slapping you for your hubris of wanting fun.

Now, all of this is a backdrop to the issues.  Let's count them down.  Falling through the terrain.  Mechs losing affinity gains constantly.  Mechs starting with 12 slots, and 60 capacity, with the mod costs meaning that if every single slot was polarized it still couldn't hold a maxed mod in each slot.  The lack of content on day one was noticeable, as to extend grind you used Grandmother tokens as an additional standing cost on top of the listed cost.  Spawns for required animal captures were a complete mess, as achiveas spawned inside terrain.  Topping all of this off, we have content that isn't fun....because instead of two good new companions we got 6 new companions that almost defy reason as to being the exact same but simply not because of reasons.  It would be like getting a Oxylus, Shmoxylus, and Docksylus.  The difference between the three is that the cannot scan inside of different elements, thus requiring you to change them when you wanted to fish on each world because Oxylus couldn't scan fish outside of coolant.

Now, let's talk about the future and how we customers need you the developer to act.  Let's lay the ground rules here.  First off, I assume you want our money.  I also assume that we will pay you when you release good content.  Neither of these things is a stretch.  I also assume that you want to keep making hollow promises, as your live streams are a way to bolster community hype without actually having to do something.

So, let's talk.  It is nearly December, and you're finally confirming that there will only be 3 new frames this year.  This is something that people were highlighting when heart of Deimos released, as an insanely ambitious Tennocon promise.  Unsurprisingly, you failed to deliver and mere weeks from the end of the year you're admitting to it not happening.  Fantastic.  Too late, but better than explaining why in January 2021.

This isn't a new thing.  There's literally a page on your wiki about promises you haven't kept years later.  Let's clean that up.  Either state that you're not going to do crap, or do it.  If you want a reasonable escape, give us a timeline.  It's insane to say this, but 3 month buckets.  In this quarter we expect the following, while things like modular archwing are a 9 month objective.  It's insane that nobody there seems to be able to setup a timeline and goals.  If you could do that you'd steal some of the spontaneous nature of the game, but it'd also destroy the mess of botched releases where you worked on crap at the 11th hour and released it as a game breaking mess.

This is going to sound nuts, but maybe act like a real company.  Let me elaborate.  Cyberpunk 2077 is a game with multiple delays.  It's not earning nearly the same problems with PR as this might suggest.  Why?  Well, like Warframe it's a game by a developer with history.  The difference is DE got community support in the early days by releasing bad, patching, and eventually being good.  CD Projekt has the tendency to release infrequently, but when they do it's good.  The thing is, in 2020 CD Projekt is still beloved, whereas DE is not experiencing that same love.  Why?  Primed Soon and Primed Salt.  Both are memes indicating that DE has over time changed from a developer that is good, to one pushing things back and making decisions the community isn't aligned with.  This is how you shed whales and veterans.

So, for what it's worth I think you can fix things.  I think a lot of fixes are simple, assuming you'd actually decide to work with the community.  I don't know if you've been beaten hard enough to do this yet.  Let me offer some things, that are minimal effort, to start 2021 on a good note.

    1. Move the damaged weapon parts to Loid's inventory.  It's another way to make sure RNG doesn't screw over players.
    2. Make each tier of isolation vault mission accessible from the Necralisk.  The match making and grind to get to tier 3 is a waste of time.
    3. Spawn more capture targets, and give us a dead zone around them for a short period.  I cannot count the times a capture target is asleep, and a runner murdered it by rushing in and swinging before I could finish its brethren off.  Yeah, higher content density is great but only if that density doesn't hurt your other mechanics.
    4. Make k-drive components matter.  The goal with these today is to grind to rank 30, then sell all but one.  It's because the 25k standing part is harder to get and more expensive to build than the 10k one, but is the same in performance.
    5. Give us a capture companion.  The precepts would be a lulling field, and a statistical increase to rarer capture targets for conservation.  If the weapon was likewise setup as a gun you'd still be required to find, track, and call but not have to worry about the frustrating bit.  This would effectively give us another Oxylus, who exists only to be a beast of burden for open worlds.  It's not a great idea, but it would make things much less annoying.

Take what I've said with a grain of salt.  I'm looking at the end of year sale for games, an end to the pandemic via herd immunity within the first half of 2021, and no reason to grind the daily Steel Path and Syndicate content.  It's the only reason to come back to Warframe daily, outside of the content drops.  That's a travesty for a game like this, but it's the corner you've painted us into.

Overall this person highlights a lot of good things. I'd like to note that glitches that "have been fixed" are still persisting and like they said they are not new nor the concepts that are making a grind go from fun to boring and then to something id rather not see or touch again. I have yet to have someone on my friends list tell me they like Deimos. Out of 30+ people and another 6 I hang out with often, none of them like Deimos at all. All of them avoid it or do what they need to do as quickly as possible before taking week breaks from warframe to months with no interest in returning unless a patch goes out with "fixes".

  6. Not sure what DE did, but the Jackal fight is bugged. On the last phase, you cannot always get a parazon kill due to Jackal not staying stunned. Instead he drops down and immediately is fighting again with no prompt to do the finishing blow. I managed to get it off since you still can but its the second he touches the ground the prompt came up and I was mashing my interact key.

Khora still bugged. Needs to be fixed. Seriously, she needs to be fixed. Please fix. Gara too. Gara is in a horrible spot right now.

Bonewidow hit registration is trash in both solo and group play (solo vs. group to test whether ping was the issue and it wasn't). Bonewidow abilities still need to be reworked and have their stats moved around as I have and so has the community repeated itself for several times more than it needs to. Unique and new does not mean good and having interesting abilities doesn't mean a fluid kit. If the play style is to use sword and the sword is as slow as a tractor and makes one ability useless and the other pointless while using a shield and sword, then clearly the kit of Bonewidow needs to be reworked. As it is, necramechs take a lot of damage, they have much bigger hit boxes and since we aren't like the special enemy necramechs, we can take damage from anywhere and not just the weak points.

The glitch where you are rendered unable to attack is still a bug but I am unsure how it happens or how to replicate it. It happens in both open world when I am using a necramech and archwing or normal play. It should be looked into since the only way to fix it is by letting yourself die and then re-spawning. If you are leveling a necramech and this happens, kiss your 3 hard earned levels good bye.

Scintillant is still weird for me. After 300+ Isolation Vault runs I have only seen scintillant twice floating around. The rest of my scintillant has come from necramechs which although good just questions the fact that DE wanted these to be like Eidolon wisps but since in one run i can get maybe 3-5 wisps and 6-298 Isolation vault runs can result in no scintillant from its original source, i have yet to see why they implemented this in the first place. Although its not used in many recipes, I'd hate to have to need it later and being almost non existent is something I am not looking forward to.

Glaive explosion registration is awful and needs to be fixed. If the explosion happens 10m away from me, i should not be staggered by a 2.5m radius. If you cannot see how stupid that is, then don't use anything else besides "the mete," then your silence is appreciated.

Alt. vaults and Isolation vaults need to be 2 different types of missions. I hate going into missions on Deimos and someone does not want to run Alt. Vaults so they throw a tantrum and mess up the bounties for Alt. Vaults for the other people. 1. cut out your whining and just leave squad which is something you can do in open world missions. If you do not know how to do that its esc/upper left hand corner/button that says leave squad. 2. Do not purposefully sabotage. Seriously, it isn't okay. I understand bans seem non existent but there is no reason to sabotage three other people's chances at getting the rare parts for the new gear.

Ships are bugged and squad ships tend to hang around in weird places as seen in the screen shot from my friend who was in his personal quarters with my ship behind his.

Ah yes, lets buff Voidrig but don't even bother with Bonewidow. Classic.

Lets take note of what Bonewidow has going for her:
    1. She isn't Voidrig

    2. I cannot find anything else

    3. There is nothing else

Bonewidows 1 is clunky, and doesn't pair up well with her 2nd ability thus defeating the purpose of even using her 2nd ability.

The shield is a buckler that protects you from aoe or punch through projectiles. If projectiles dont have punch through then the shield simply does not register as a shield but a decorative arm piece that has no use other than to look like a chef apron on you and have to hitbox. Oh yea and to waste your energy.

I don't know why your 3rd ability cost energy. Let me give you a breakdown of all crowd control abilities:
Nyx - an ability form of mas radiation hazard put on duration
Loki - Takes away weapons reducing their effectiveness

I have the dumb break down of the rest of the warframes but what is clear is, they actually do something. Bonewidow's doesn't do anything and just leaves her more vulnerable.
Make Bonewidow smoother and more like a berserk necramech. The more time she sits there seeing no work done to improve her, the more solidified Voidrig will be in its place.

    Dumb CC Breakdown

Atlas - His crowd control pairs with his kit so it is fine
Banshee - keeps enemies from using abilities and is a stun

Baruuk - Puts enemies to sleep, can remove weapons
Chroma - He can crowd control but I dont know why you would, you have a 600% damage buff why are you crowd controlling
    Ember - Fire
    Equinox - Mass sleep
    Excalibur - Blind

Frost - frost procs slowing the enemies

Gara - immobile enemies, enemies attack themselves
Gauss - Front line men at an American Foot Ball game tackling you at mach 10

    Grendel - om nom
    Harrow - immobile
Hildryn - immobile and provides energy
Hydroid - locks down an area
Inaros - his crowd control is garbage
Ivara - noise arrows and mass sleep
Khora (please fix khora) - chained enemies take more damage
Limbo - able to make enemies more vulnerable
    Mesa - stuns
    Mirage - blind and stun
    Nekros - ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
    Nezha - Vlad the Impaler

    Nidus - Tentacles
Nova - everyone becomes a slow living bomb

    Oberon - heh...
Titania - moths to a lantern
Octavia - Crowd Control the warframe
    Revenant - weird
Rhino - right foot 2 stomps
    Saryn - i guess her 2?
Valkyr - Scary cat lady yelled and I cannot move
Volt - If the PayDay 2 Tazer enemy ascended to become Zeus
    Wisp - gives nausea
Xaku - actually has a ton of crowd control for some reason
Zephyr - (My opinion and my bias she is horrible but I would love to see her reworked. Till then never press 4 around me)

  8. So its going to be similar to what is was before but without the double damage bugs and stuff. I don't really understand but more so was okay with the idea of the crit chance but not the double damage. But, as far as the game goes, CC and aoe damage need to have certain factors, aoe damage must be effective. Effective damage is damage that for the cost of what your doing (Time, shots, energy, and set up). CC must include other factors such as armor strip, loot drop increase, damage vulnerability increase or something along those lines. Simply having cc is a waste when you can just eliminate the targets. The CC set up is just a waste of 50 energy. Marked for death before, rivalled the best aoe damage abilities in the game. But with the nerf it takes even more set up and at higher levels it is barely even usable. I've seen good builds for it but effectively it wasnt worth the cost. If Marked for death is just supposed to bring the area of enemies to low health, make it % true damage. Now that sounds terrifying to balance but the ability is already a scary idea to begin with. I understand what DE wants but I fail to see any path for this ability to take that does not include a swing one way or the other.

A funny idea is to make it a status spread so its not instantaneous damage but like Saryn spores. Increase the level of procs by 5 and give them to all targets, status tick damage is halved but can crit. This is simply a random idea for how to make Marked for Death not a full blown instant nuking ability but still give it room to scale or possibly make way for other abilities to combo with it balancing the cost per effectiveness idea.

Either way, people will still be frustrated but it's the hope and care that I think we should look toward. We were heard that it was too strong, we were heard that it was nerfed too hard, now we must remain calm and give honest opinions that are without malice. And I am sorry if it doesn't turn out well, it will be something DE learns from when the ability starts growing cobwebs around it when its rework is almost as needed as a zephyr rework.
