The RNG is removed from Umbral Forma by completing nightwave seasons. Beyond that it's prettly clear that DE has no intention of making it easy to aquire.

Yeah, I can see what you mean by "no intention of making it easy to aquire".

How do you manage to repeatedly get staggered, though? You can't shoot while staggered. = .

When the Lenz hits something, a bubble that (used to) deal a low damage cold proc appears and staggers you once. Then, after a little over a second, the bubble explodes and deal damage to everything INSIDE of it.

Before the update, one could potentially roll or bulletjump away from the explotion that dealt enough damage to kill anything INSIDE the bubble including yourself.
Now you can't move at all until the stagger from the cold bubble is over and even if you roll/jump away before the explotion happens, the blast now affects everything 3 meters OUTSIDE the marked area and effectively puts you into stagger status again.

  3. You know what I used to enjoy the most out of the Lenz?
The red crits with vigilante mods? Nope.
The guaranteed status that came with the blast? Still No.
    Ammo mutation? Colder...
    The cold bubble??? Dead frozen.
The amazingly high damage numbers it dealt on a wide area with multishot? Close enough but no.

My favorite thing to do with the Lenz, was to charge a shot, run/bullet jump inside a nullifier or artic eximus, fire at the mofo at point black range, get an adrenaline rush from the fact that I'm a second away from death, and then roll the f' away from the blast radius like the badass space ninja I am as the enemy explodes behind me.

Now introducing the self damage removal and stagger update:

Getting staggered if I hit a friendly that just bullet jumped in front of me.
Getting staggered attempting to replicate my previously mentioned stunt.
Getting staggered by the explotion of the cold bubble right after I get out from the previous stagger status because I coulnd't roll away.
Getting staggered 3 meters away from the graphical representation of the blast radius in the slim chance I do manage to roll away.
    GETTING STAGGERED.

Some of you may think that I'm just being trigger happy with the Lenz but that is definetly not the case.
I learned how to use the Lenz safely back when it was introduced and killed myself with it countless of times in the process. And while doing so, I found out that the most effective way to deal with nullifiers and artics with the Lenz, was to risk it all in an extremely flashy, dangerously stupid, and fun way. And now, I can't do that anymore.
If I failed that stunt before, I got punished for it by dying from the high damage the Lenz can and will output in a wide area.
If I succedded at it, I effectively cleared out an obstacle I was absolutely, positively sure I wanted gone, and I felt proud about pulling it off.
If I fail that now, I know I'm not at risk of killing myself, the enemy still dies, and I get annoyed for a long time while my warframe trips over twice on the same spot from an explotion I learned to respect out of fear after years of gameplay.

    Tl;dr:
    The risk is gone.
The annoyance for a missfire is greater than before.
But most importantly, the fun is simply not there anymore.

The removal of self damage and the introduction of stagger, straight up killed the Lenz for me.

128 Intrinsic points / 2.5 hours farming with 4x Affinity = 51.2 Intrinsic points an hour. 1023 total points for each tree X 4 = 4092 total required Intrinsics. 4092 Intrinsics / 51.2 Intrinsic points an hour = 79.9 hours required to max out all the Intrinsic trees. There's only 175 hours in a week so technically, DE failed to make Railjack something you can't grind out in a week if you were truly dedicated.

Congratulations, you just gave DE the formula to cap the railjack progress in a daily basis. *sarcastic clap*

  5. I rather have multiple squads on open world areas thank you very much. Just imagine multiple parties taking on a giant eidolon, it would be chaotic and glorious at the same time.

Also, I must say "ABSOLUTELY NO" to removing/replacing what little "high level" content we have now for a mode that we can't even test properly first. Remember Trials? Those were pretty fun (even if I only got to play them twice). Now they are gone, lost in the "development" void forever.

This is a good mention, and I agree that it would be much cooler if we got to keep momentum on the K-drive, if not in Archwing as well. This is also why I'd like for vehicles to be attached to the current movement system via some contextual button press, rather than stuck on the gear wheel: because K-Drives and Archwing are a natural extension of our movement, it would make sense to be able to access those on-demand, rather than with some hotkey or through the Gear Wheel.

Set the hotkeys for them to the F1-4, no need to add specific keybomds for them imo. (Though being able to set keybinds on the go for the gearwheel without having to go to the options menu or having to rearrange everything for the 100th time would be nice)

Losing all the momentum does suck though and I cant complain enough about it.

  7. The way I see it, it would be much better to have 3 colors for EACH piece of clothing and NOT 3 colors for the whole thing.
I like the setup I currently have, but I hate how the scarf, the suit and the boots have all to be the same color.e9MzXv4.png

And don't even get me started on these gloves... uvn4XNy.png?1

  8. Just.... why?
I play in the south-america region and also like to play in english because its just easier for me to read and there shouldn't be any problem with that. Except for the fact that the Region/Recruit/Trade chat are almost empty unless I change the language of my game.
I was playing in english not 10 minutes ago and the trade chat barely had 10 people in it so I decided to change it since my friends said they were filled on their side. A quick restart and set to spanish later the list got so god damn long that it just blows my mind to think "why does the chat work like this?"

I didn't change the region setting at all, its still set to south america. I just changed the UI language. UI as in USER INTERFACE, something that should be completely CLIENT SIDE and have nothing to do with what server I should be in.

I still get matched with people playing in other languages in the same region yet I can't talk in the same chat if I have a different language set in my game? What the f-? Can someone explain this bs to me?

  9. One would think that when you are linking an item on the chat, let's say [Serration], the game looks at the english language file, recognizes the name of an item, links it to the id of said item, and then the game on the other end reads that id, and links it to propper translation of it in spanish, [Sierra]. Easy, right?

I play in english while my friends play in spanish, and the randoms I get most of the time usually are from brasil meaning portuguese gets mixed in too. Linked items/weapons/mods/etc dont work at all if the language isn't the same on both ends, it just displays the text in the same language that it was written and can't be opened unless you set your language to theirs (Which is a real pain, considering I have to restart the game, change the language in the launcher, accept the ToS again, and waif for it to re-dowload the text files). Why is it like this?

  10. Had the same issue a few hours ago with a friend and randoms. Here's how it looked on my end.
My friend and enemies were constantly in the air on my screen (and also for the randoms from what they told me) while on his screen we were the ones in the air.
Extra: Trying to open caches in the middle of the air was pretty fun though.
