Had this same issue. Managed to force it to update by attempting to incubate a new kubrow and kavat, both of which gave an "Unknown Error", but the kubrow did show up in the incubator, and after relogging, I was able to claim and use my kavat again. Hope this fix works for you, and hopefully it is an easy bug to patch!
