  1. I was about to suggest making reach mods a flat value rather than % but people have beat me to it.

Kills 2 birds with one stone too, as it makes it useful to put on low range weapons as well as dealing with the current issues.

  2. The 502 is heavier than the average gaming mouse, so many people prefer a lighter mouse.

Most modern gaming mice (including IIRC the G502) use a variant of the 3360 sensor, which is basically the standard (the companies might have a custom version, but they are generally variations of the same sensor. Some sensors like on the Logitech G203 are pretty similar though, and that mouse is generally cheaper so it's a good 'budget' option, if the shape suits you.

Actual choice of mouse should depend on your mouse grip, how comfortable it is (mainly where the buttons are, like side buttons if you use them, if they fall under a comfortable position in your grip, and weight) which could be among any of them.

  3. Logitech G403 for me, just the right size for my hands (claw grip), and the side buttons are in a good place for me as well, and it's pretty lightweight.

If you use side buttons a lot, I would try and test a lot of mice until you have one that fits your hands well in your normal grip and they are easily accessible.
