Well I can sense a whole lot of court cases being drawn up… lose paid for items and content, I want all that content, plat bought etc refunded on the account that is having to be lost due to zero previous warnings then. Can’t refuse to help and brush it off, merging accounts that split then yes but two completely unrelated accounts should not be prevented. Looks like we got our final word though from @[DE]Megan on there stance, very disappointing and a kick in the teeth for all the hours and monetary investment players have put in across all platforms to make sure the game survived as long as it did. They replied to my ticket just stating the current rules around merging and linking and had no current plans on the switch/previous migrate with totally unlinked accounts issue. Really losing hope now on it ever getting a response.

@[DE]CoreyOnline please reconsider the decision of not allowing previous PC migrated accounts to merge with unlinked and none migrated accounts. It is understandable to stop duplicated accounts remerging with its original but to stop totally unlinked and un merged accounts seems a bit harsh.

It shocks me that threads are being locked knowing full well this section is for feedback on the whole issue. Very poor to lock them when people are doing just that and providing feedback.

The prevention of migrated/duplicated accounts I fully support the decision to not allow them two to re merge and become one with all items transferred. What I can’t support is the decision against them accounts then being prevented from merging with a total seperate account, they would not then reduplicating or working the system as they would still only be doing the same merge as everybody else. The only way this should be done is give a option of unlinking the previous migrated account so from PC the Switch/PS would become unlinked and you choose to delete the Switch/PS data for good, the trade being your PC account can now merge with all other platforms again the same as everybody else as there is then no duplicated data in the game.

I don’t get the look of players trying to cheat the system, these players supported DE by playing across all platforms. Majority would have bought plat/cosmetics/prime access across all platforms so put in a lot of investment into the game. There not really asking for much with the support they have gave over the years.

Yeh I wanted to merge my PC (MR21) and Xbox (MR18) both with plenty of prime purchases and plat but unfortunately I’m in the line of blocked accounts from doing it due to trying out the PC>Switch port. Now seems a big mistake supporting that as it means I miss out on linking the two main platforms and accounts progress I enjoyed all my hours on.

PC players who migrated to PS/Xbox/Switch are in general not asking to now merge them two accounts. They are stuck with the fact they created new accounts back in the day on say PC & Xbox, then they migrated the PC to PS/Switch, that migration now stops them merging the two accounts that where never linked PC & Xbox. That to me seems harsh as both are seperate play throughs never linked or merged but are blocked by a PS/Switch migration. Now they have to chose to lose all progress on one or play the game with a very small market as they won’t be able to trade with a massive chunk of the player base if they stay seperate.

Same boat here, poor decision to have previous merged accounts blocked. You actually now get punished for supporting the game on release across platforms. Well played. Not only did PC players who merged to switch etc bring a market into that system it created hype and plat purchases for relics/frames that otherwise wouldn’t of existed on that platform.
