I haven't seen an ad for WF in over a year.  Get a fish ton of insurance companies though.   Guess they don't know what I like to watch or can't find an add that is appropriate for such.

Then you don't understand gaming well.  You can compare phone games to this game when they pull similar stunts.  Nightwave as a method bases for dailies is most certain very similar to phone dailies.

OP, are you familar at all with phone games and "Dailies"?  If so... what were you further expecting out of any nightwave?  They are just dailies, nothing else.

It isn't so much gaming content, but more lore content.

My experience...   Ticker was MUCH faster due to rng.

Heck, I still don't have an Auger Secrets out of Plains because of rng, and I've been out there since Plains came out.

I'm on a 10+ year old PC and can find the drones without problems.  And no, I don't have the locations memorized.  So....  I'm kinda having a hard time seeing a need for a marker.

1. Go to the center of the circle area.
2. If you can't find it, look for wood or rock and kick it.  Chances are the drone is just dirty.

Since day 1 of playing warframe.  I refuse to be addicted to games any more.

Corpus vs. Grineer.   And I'd say suddenly as I was watching it because I needed that one as a last part to build the weapon, so it wasn't something like forma, mutegen, fieldron, etc.
As I'm not DE I can not say for fact, but it sure didn't feel like a rush at all unless like suddenly everyone did it at the same time which is highly unlikely.

I have a different issue. 

I can't get Gustag to show up normally once marked.   I'll get 10 stalkers, but Gustag... I'm still waiting. 

Probably because I want them to show up as I need one last part from them for the Scimitar ship.

So I tried to replicate rattle and tomb from secondary to primary...

Rattleguts as secondary is just more powerful honestly. I rebuilt it as near identical as I could and used it against standard enemies vs. play test lvl100 things and it just couldn't kill as fast.

Tombfinger, however, does play differently primary vs. secondary.  So while I can kill faster with the secondary against single, the play style of use is different enough to me such that it is like a different style of weapon.  Even with the nerfs that people are complaining about I go, "meh".  My style of fun allows for it.

Serious question:  Are you new to MMOs in general?

There are some base rules of thumb.

1. Exploit early, exploit often. (Not, I did not say cheat.)
2. If something new seems OP right out of the gate, if the game or the developer has any history of item reduction of value, aka nerfing, expect that at some point it will be.
3. Any games that have DLCs and/or updates, change happens.
4. Very few companies at all will ever give refunds due to changes to the game, epsecially in MMOs.  Change and updates are part of MMOs.

 

So.. yeah.  I'm fine with it because I recognize that is the sandbox we play in.  It isn't ours, and as such it can be taken away at any time. We just happen to have their permission to play in it as it is provided.

Legs don't help the issue much at all, honestly.  (and I don't think those slugs have legs. 😉  )

Who knows?  Maybe hardware ends up mattering more than realized? I mean if there are server client disagreements in position I can see that triggering the issues I'm seeing.  I typically have a pretty decent ping, but I am on 10 year (maybe more?) old hardware.
