I have to say the way this has all been managed seems rather confusing and unclear.
I have been here many years, I have this account and my X-box account PrimeManager45, now I left PC some time after deciding I did not want to buy founders, came back, completed the star chart, left PC games for a while and did Xbox, as such both my PC and Xbox account are pretty decent, both have solo clans near maxxed, Xbox account is nearly identical to the PC one for a lot of grind etc. Both have had a lot of money spent on them.
I so far have seen nothing regarding what happens to clan dojo related work, both my Dojo's are very large and fully equiped with the PC dojo just pipping the post with research, but both have all the rooms, gardens, halls etc, both have had real money invested also. So how does the time, effort and grind into Clan Dojo's work for the solo player with two accounts with two Dojo's?
When I look at my account info I see Cross Platform Save and that I can connect accounts, I see no mention of merging or linking, yet I am reading that players linking are losing all their inventorty and plat from one account?
Why is there no clear MERGE button stating all items will transfer, and a clear LINK button stating one account will be deleted? What does connect mean, and what am I risking by connecting accounts?
On top of that I was another MUG who foolishly fell for the HURRY HURRY HURRY crap DE put out with the release of WF on Switch, as time was limited and there was a Switch at home, I did the PC to Switch copy too.
I see nothing on my account stating this, nor is anything clear in account management that this is affecting anything?
I have put a lot of time and money into DE and WF over the years, my children watched me play Beta and got into WF, my wife hates WF, its been a long ride, always there to fall back on whether I had an Xbox or PC, here we are with a possible grand merge alleviating this need to play and spend on multiple accounts, but now some can some can't and some are directly punished for trying to actively support WF as it went to Switch? Funny enough I can't even remember playing on Switch myself, as my older lad had the Switch attached to his hip that year.
So what am I to do? Where do I get clarification and a guaranteed nothing lost route? Can I even merge or does all the Dojo work go to the bin? The Xbox Dojo resources cannot exactly be of use in the PC Dojo, a complete waste of plat and forma as the PC already has a excess within the Dojo pocket due to streamlining it's design.

THe question should be, why are you not taking a break, why are you even looking at reasons?
Its just a game, and its designed like many other games to tie you to wasting hours on mindless farms and grinds, solely on Warframe. I wasted 10 hours today and failed, grinding Atmo systems. Makes me a complete idiot and simply sums up how detrimental modern games and the companies behind them are. Of course if you get bored you can always spend the equivaalent of a weeks shopping on imaginary currency to purchase pixels that cost nothing to create and that you don't actually own, that require hours of grinding and farming to get to a level your happy with, by rinse repeating the same repetitive game experience all over again.
I am getting to that point, I did some grinding of standing, but quite frankly stopped as I was sick of it, completed Nightwave and its back again with FOMO. Now can't be bothered grinding the RNG nonsense for some regular content, and currently due to being pissed off with todays Warfarm experience would rather wipe my arse with money than give it to DE.
Its just a game, if anyone feels it deserves more attention than taking a dump, then knock themselves out playing it to death like an addict. Most should just treat it as a game, play it, main it as your go to game, take breaks, change your gameplay, diversify. When it pisses you off or you rfed up or bored, do something else in Warframe or simply drop it and play another game with your free time for a while.
Me, I feel like an idiot after spending today playing instead of doing something else. But I better get back to Fortuna and spend another hour trying to get Atmo Systems.

Its always been Warfarm, and many players leave due to it and the micro transactions.
All the family members that played WF have long quit as have their friends, it takes a specific mind set to be happy with it, and its exactly what DE target as an audience.
I played beta, then I quit, I came back a number of years ago as family played and wanted to see my old beta account. To be honest I have a love hate with it all, I hate that I never bought the founders packs, back then I thought it was being poorly developed and was way too overpriced for a founders pack, these days after playing many other games and seeing founders exclusives sold to new players I respect DE's stance and regret not buying more.
But then I spend a day trying to farm Atmo Systems, and feel yeah, thats exactly why I did not buy that founders pack, as here I am having played on and off for around 10 hours today, zero Atmos systems, and continual connection issues where I am getting thrown into half complete to fully complete missions, sometimes getting no rewards, host migration crap and players doing Thermia instead of the bounty.
The experience sucks, the farm sucks, drop rates sucks, p2p connection sucks, and the community can be an absolute toxic experience. Many will simply log in for a few months, get sick of the grind and stop, take a break, and a few months later return. Right now I really cannot be arsed with it again. Pulling teeth comes to mind.

An absolute farce of a day playing on Fortuna trying to get Atmos systems and sick of it. DE have no interest in improving the player experience, money, thats DE.
The farm is a joke, its why so many leave never to return. Many who leave despite years of fanboi cultism will usually do a complete 180 and say straight the game sucked, was a massive life suck and the pricing in game was ludicrus, dozens of players I know in real life via family and friend connec tions all hate this game and continually ask why the hell does anyone play it.
It is even worse on platform, Xbox is a complete screw your day over experience due to the ultra selfish screw anyone else player community who will speed run relic runs and extract before anyone gets reactant, and that simply shows how hard DE sucks when a player presses a mission and ends up in a mission when the host is already at the extraction point.
I'm playing PC today, I am getting into missions that are over before the lift door opens, some I get no reward, some bug out, some players are doing thermia instead of the bounty, but very often its players getting dumped into missions that are running with that variable connections with other players.
So paying players are getting screwed over with this appaling absolute nonsense p2p crap. My experience is crap, my family all quit due to the crap and I am in here venting due to a complete wasted day farming Atmos and getting no Atmos whil econtinually being disconnected and thrown into missions that are already complete. Its a farce.

Absolutely raging today, quite frankly continual farming all day for Atmo systems in Fortuna, continual late into missions, or locked in lift, or lift opening to complete mission, or no rewards, or someone decides to do Thermia fractures mid mission, and seeing other players not just me getting this and quitting missions.
And what I hate seeing is the Mission Failed blaze accross my screen, can this be changed to "DE are completely incompetent" as frankly the mission did not fail.
It's also a pain on Xbox with continually getting dropped into near complete missions, I must waste about half my Relic runs getting no reward as we have incompetent DE backed by the most Toxic selfish screw anyone else who needs reactant player base. I mean ffs wait to log in and find the host speed run the capture and it's a race to get reactant when often there are no enemies to drop it.
And this seems a common issue as I have repeatedly seen other players who want to wait and help scream abuse at others, even heard it on chat.
Tea time, been at this all morning, and after lunch, still no Atmos drop.
The experience sucks.

Hopefully this isnt a spoiler.
Personally a number of players including myself found the quest rather irritating, in my case it was a stock AMP and no time spent on the operator in my game that infuriated me. Meaning I was slow and cumbersom when trying to deal with Achrons before DE reduced the boss difficulty. Now I may well be wrong with a lot of this, but I left that feeling wondering if I had a better faster operator with more energy and health and a better amp would it have been better, I as a player am simply not very skilled with an operator.
To the point now, I will not be doing the New War on the Xbox until I level a better amp and maybe even a kit gun by progressing standing where needed, and get more involved with making the operator experience better for myself. IE my operator is slow clunky and underpowered as I made no effort to use it or had any direction in Focus schools.
I certainly would think the experience better with leveled equipment, frames, mechs and whatever else may be required. You can choose to look at what the New War uses from your inventory if your not bothered about the spoilers as it really is the only way for you to ensure what you may need is at a level your comfortable with.

Here is hoping you decided not to leave and took the time to get through this.
I get a little of how you feel, I went into the New War blind, didn't want spoilers, and to be frank found it rather dissapointing, as it was simply not Warframe as I knew it.
I was not one of those players maxxing out everything and in particular never made any effort with operator gameplay, as such I entered the New War in my opinion poorly equiped. In fact I still have a poor operator with a poor amp, something I need to address, in particular the best way to use Focus schools. I ended up stuck on the Archon bosses, just lacked the skills using my operator, I myself ranted about hating it, wanting to quit, and left my PC account for a few months. I ended up returning, DE had apparently changed some of it, well I am not sure I noticed it did manage to pull through the Archon bosses and complete the quest.
I feel a little more knowledge and skill at operator gameplay may have helped me, I am also terrible at rolling on the PC, and spent too long playing a rubbish frame with an Ignis Wraith, which made returning to a Bow rather clunky for me. If I had known it was so much operator based, and improved myself as a player I would have found it less irritating and possibly enjoyed it more.
But looking back, I feel the real issue is being taken out our comfort zone into a game mode some of us are ill prepared for, expecting WF and retaliating to what we end up playing, simply as its not Warframe as we are used to. This may be why DE apparently made Archons a bit easier, I am not sure as I never read into the changes, just hearsay, to be honest the using Moa's and Ospreys was not that bad, some of that I found interesting, other times tedious.
I think DE made a mistake with it being a locked in Quest, it has caused some players to quit and leave, many simply seen it, feel it sucks, and do not want locked in and are not doing it. In my case it simply meant I left for a period disillusioned with it all, and it happened after I had returned from a Warframe break looking to take a break from another game, as I got pissed off it simply meant my gaming money went elsewhere, I never bought Prime Access due to being locked out and ended up spending it on WoT.
I also play on the Xbox, though that account is a liittle behind this one, and will not be doing the New War on that until I do better than the basic amp and improve my operator speed and skills slightly and when no boosters or events are active. There are plenty of tutorials online for various parts of the quest, most in here want to help, that your not enjoying it to the point your giving up franky is not something your alone with despite the fans claims, DE simply were wrong to lock it, it is pointless and simply pushes some players away. With that in mind there does have to be some acceptance of responsability, a lot of the New War content was teh same for all of us, inclusing the mission your stuck at, which from memory is simply due to your ability with the Moa and Osprey, it gets harder with the Archons, but should that be you making more effort or should DE limit the quest based on skill or kit?
I do not agree with the lock, nor do I agree with quitting or abandoning an account. Do the quest, I honestly think you will feel better rewarded after it.

You should only have one account.
You NEVER bought plat on wrong account, you used your 75% discount for the account YOU signed into, it states your player name after all.
Got three kids here, family that shares PC's and no one EVER logged in or purchased on the wrong account.
Not fair if your transferring discounts from one account to another.
Two weeks ago I bought boosters, then played Unturned, so missed my boosters and forgot to grind n buy the tier 10 top o the tree in WoT.
Maybe they can extend em lol,

My whole family play WF, well me n three kids, sharing three PC's, two xbox one and a Nintendo Switch.
Used to regularily platoon with my lad on pc, both my lads are in my clan. No perks or special treatment, they want plat they do chores and its a direct payment via card on their account, they want frames or weapons they grind.
Exact same with Unturned and World of Tanks, play tanks most nights with my lad as most of us got a little bored with WF, though I started playing on xbox for the like new experience and linked my Twitch to that for drops.

Dobt like it bolt and play solo, plenty of low rank players get told to eff off by better players speed running and so many other variables.
Here is one, FREE ROAM. This is fact, not fiction, but playing a free game and joining an open world that says free roam is self explanatory, yet its the biggest percentage of abuse and reports made by bullys.
Oh wait, the l33ts think u want to free roam you should solo, yeah, almost as funny as 4 players struggling with an idy one repeatedly disconnecting then when I gave a little hand they called me a leecher, for giving them a helping hand as I passed.
Oh I then left them to it, still got abuse as they failed.
No, freeroam and randoms, the only person you should rely on is yourself, any carry given or taken a bonus, anyone doing little one day may be in your shoes. Ever played while eating, or been distracted?
Its a game, only a game, and you have platoons and clans if yer too pro for randoms.
I played solo once. I even used my scanner during pub games 😮😱🤫

I think you should be reported maybe even given a 7 day ban for playing public games then staring at others performance and in game actions then reporting them for not doing what you want.
You dont like randoms or the random players then play in platoons, maybe even employ minions to carry out your mission whims. No right to complain about what you think someone is doing in a public game.
Not a Limbo fan, not very capable with Limbo, I remember feeling slightly useless when I was levelling him.

Sorry but it was some time back when I joined, but for some reason I have always thought giving plat to friends or family was against the rules and therefor could lead to a ban?
But why would you only now know or be aware of a ban for that trade?
I'm suspicious of everything, even my shadow.

All smells like horse manure to me, anyone not spending money on plat via DE but getting it free or cheaper elsewhere is scamming DE and/or the players they trade with.
The selling market is already a risk to many due to players trading dodgy plat.
I only ever buy plat from DE because I got pretty concerned with how many were complaining about selling some rare item, only to be in negative plat weeks later.
Its not like players scammed out of goods ever get the goods back, they simply get told to pay or no play.
So do you think the op never "traded" the plat he sourced against ToS?

He can go do one as far as I am concerned, no sincerity or honesty is his original post, just some player who chose to take advantage of plat outwith DE "some time ago" therefor for some time may have been putting scammed dodgy filthy plat into the system or trades.
He has not been forthright or honest so far, so he can call me a "boomer" all he wants, I paid for every bit of plat I ever have had via DE with money I work damn hard for.
Getting called a "boomer" by a filthy plat scammer making up guff as he attempts to milk and take the urine out of DE.

Oh and those are not my words, a "friend" spoke them softly into my ear while not reading the OP's posts with a rose tinted glasses cosmetic gained via Twitch Prime that he got from a friend of a friend at a mates house who's dad knew a bloke that said its ok you can swap it for wallpaper if they catch you.

If you dont need anything dont spend it. If your looking for something to spend plat on then obviously you dont need that either.
My opinion, farm and grind, maybe cosmetics, its not a lot of plat, chump change, so save it or earn more, one day you may be struggling for a part or slot.
And if you think you may not play for a while why spend it.
Cant remember when I last logged in, probably have around 10k plat? Well did have at one point, might have bought some deluxe skins with some of it.

I played Beta, somehow lost the account or email provider for it, did have issues with the web browser log in back then.
I even remember getting the Lato Vandal reward.
This acount is just after beta, but I didnt bother with Founders as I was heavily investing in other games and didnt gel with WF during beta.
Only came back in 2018 as my son asked me to show him my old account, he used to watch me play beta. I revisited via Steam (never used Steam for WF before) and had a bit of a weird wiped account as two different emails? But we had the introduction quest etc so all good.
I had both Bratons which my lad thought weird. Though I never paid attention.
Recently started an xbox account. But not really playing much as bored and playing WoT with my son a bit these days.

You should be punished severely for dealing with fake/dodgy/blackmarket plat.
Simply put, its scummy players trying to rip off DE that put dodgy plat into the game that ends up with INNOCENT players getting ripped a new back passage when DE revoke negative plat trades.
So some innocent player trades something worthwhile, then gets banned for negative plat, has to pay to get his account back, and loses whatever Riven or Prime item he sold on top of having to pay for the plat he didnt steal.
So yeah, anyone buying or trading blackmarket plat should have their IP and account permanently banned.
It is not like you didnt agree to TOS or understand that plat can only be purchased from specific sources. IE DE or the Xbox store.

In a few very specific, but not insignificant, ways Warframe is an objectively worse game than Fallout 76. And I am NOT a vending machine.Really.
12h a day Tues to Sat, Sunday n Monday off. Used to be times where that could be 11 days or a regular 9 in a row.
3 kids, partner is part time, problems up to the eyeballs.
But I still buy my plat, never sold anything to a player, only bought from.
I have a PC account, xbox account, Switch account.
Considering how much time I have, grinding for plat would be a less cost effective of grinding what I want versus spare time if it was mixed with time trying to trade with others for plat I can buy.
Edit, an hour commute each way, still travelling home now.
So with three jobs and kids, why cant u afford plat and where do u find the time?

Played WF for the 1st time in months after reading this thread last night.
Working today, may try and grind the last 1k ducats I would need for this mod when I get home then take another break.
Hopefully one day DE will see sense and release Excalibur Prime and founders kit. Most of them have quit, some left, many dont use Excal Prime.
Here we are in 2020 and we cant get old irrelevant primes, and still DE lock minor prime cosmetics behind ludicrously priced pixel packaged containing frames and weapons we either farmed the RNG for or bought in a different overpriced bundle in previous years.

The DISGUSTING thing I do not like about this whole mess, it states link or merge will be automatic, I do not want a LINK DE I want a merge, yet if I was one of those players rushing into it, I would possibly lose an account that was never anything to do with PC or Switch?
Why can DE not merge accounts but simply link the previous merge account? I never used my Switch account, if DE had not stated limited time hurry up and had some of us feel we are going to miss out, I would have never bothered with Switch, as it stands I had the PC migrate to Switch and then never used the Switch.
Now I have two near identical PC and Xbox accounts that both have a lot of money and time invested, and DE simply give me me middle finger? I can choose to connect, DE will decide if I am merging or linking with it up to me to wonder do I lose all the money and time I invested in Xbox due to that dumb moment years back when DE said hurry up its limited time and I went OK to Switch migration?
Buying Platinum, Prime Access, Regal Aya, grinding, building complete Dojo's, the invested resources and grinds, and no talk on what happens to Dojo investment on grinds and we only find out on forums that DE decide if its a link or Merge and the Switch nonsense now alienates us.
Considering just how much DE charge for the game items and how old it is, it's rather shocking that they lack the ability to have selective linking and merging.
I don't want nothing to do with the old Switch account, I want to merge two completely seperate accounts. I should be allowed to merge those accounts and then link Nintendo so keeping my Xbox and PC inventory but simply losing the Switch content. It seems rather normal and grown up to develope a system where that is possible, anything else is an excuse for poor dev work.
