Dude no other game that I played or the psn store is with error . So who is to blame here ? Sony that every other thing is working ? Or warframe who is not working on the ps4?

Dude, consider the fact that not all games or even all players are currently affected.

Instead of using a sample size of.... one... to inform your position, just hop on the google and do a quick search.

    https://downdetector.com/status/playstation-network/

    https://venturebeat.com/2020/06/03/playstation-network-is-down-for-many-players-on-playstation-4/

    https://www.psu.com/news/playstation-network-currently-down/

Not terribly difficult to find, right? Now go ahead and check twitter. It's not just warframe. Not just DE.

PSN network looks fine, at least from the US https://status.playstation.com/en-us/

You can login to PSN normally, see friends online, buy PSN store stuff, play other games, etc.

I believe Warframe has issues calling the PSN login API or PSN is somehow blocking all Warframe's API calls to login?

Can you please take a deeper look and not just attribute it to the PSN network?

Fingers can be pointed.  We just want someone to advocate for the paying customer lest they become non-paying players.

As others have said, other games can be played.

It is exclusive to Warframe, be it DE’s “fault” or Sony’s.

Part of my job in managing Operations and hitting production goals in my line of work follows this truth:

”It May not be your fault, but it is your problem to solve.”

Thanks for anything you can do, guys.

    Sincerely,

A quick check shows that PSN has been having serious issues for over 6 hours. They're still showing that everything is fine, but people seem to believe that the most recent update is to blame.

Realistically, we can't expect DE to fix a problem with the PlayStation network, that's also affecting multiple games, and players globally. No more than an operations manager in one business can be expected to completely fix the logistics problems currently being caused by global transportation routes being negatively affected. And any operations manager who thinks that they can actually do such a thing, would be suffering from a monumental case of hubris.

Yes it's important that DE advocate for us with regard to this situation, but the fix for this rests on Sony.

Yeah quite a few of us, it seems. I've seen some stuff that suggests that other ps4 games may be affected in similar ways.

Don't think that we've gotten any official word yet.

Edit: We used to be able to receive fully built formas from login rewards back in the days. This is no longer possible

    1) Why do you want to max forma all weapons? That's not even a good idea, for several reasons.

    2) There's Plague Star, which is fun to run, and gives lots of funky rewards. But sooner or later, you have all of the rewards and just about the only thing that's worth getting is... Forma. Gives a nice little stockpile whenever it rolls around. What else have you been collecting from that event?

    3) You do understand that in most of these f2p games, they are still being brought to us by companies who have bills to pay, and they would still like to make a bit of money, instead of just being there to give you everything you ask for, right?

    4) The old adage says "time is money". You want to save your time? Spend some of your money.

Why does there need to be a reward? The codex is just a database of stuff in the game that you use to find information on

Especially since it tells us the strengths/weaknesses and locations of stuff without having to hop on google.

My comment about "dumb stuff" is because I have enough exp to know that what he was suggesting is not realist possible in an efficient run. Go watch a youtube of 6x3 or even 5x3 and tell me that you have the time to wait like a retard for the eidolon to do an attack (and you have to do this for all 3).

Then also check if using K-drive is even reasonable choice for first eidolon, because that phucker can spawn pretty far for the altar.

You're funny. Write more funny things!

That's probably the problem. It's the non-alcoholic version. Better to go for the 4% version.

My issue with the weapon is the camera shake it creates for no good reason. Messes with aiming my shots.

This game has a vast amount of content to be explored by new players. I completed the star chart and quests in about a month or two. For endgame we currently have fissures, conclave, eso, plains, liches and the railjack map. All grind content, imo, but still served as fun mini-games of sort.

Today I looked around my stats and inventory.

I have 3599hrs play time. MR 28 only zenith missing

( i potatoed all my frames and weapons and formaed some to see how they played and feel like when i leveled them )

( using this catagories cause those have the most varaity, other i found were more or less similar and using this 4 is simpler)

Warframe - 50% usage on limbo prime , 23.5% saryn prime, 5.5% on volt, 3.9% oberon, 2.3% mesa prime, 1.2%  nekros and nova. Others less than 1%, half of them 0.0%

Primary - 30% ignis wraith, 7.6% rubico prime, 7.5% opticor vandal, 7.2% vectis prime, 6.8% soma prime, 6.6% vectis, 6.1% kuva ogris, Then the others  less that 5%

Secondary - 26.2% catchmoon, 26.1% pyrana prime, 6.9% kuva twin stubbas, 4.4% hikou, 3.2% Afuris, 3.1% tombfinger. The others less than 3%

Melee - 38.1% plague keewar, 11.1% nami skyla, 8.8% broken war, 7.7% ninkondi prime, 5% sepfhan, 2.6% skiajati and zenistar. The other less than 2%

Currently using saryn, soma, kuva nuko, nami skyla for lich hunt and railjack. Others situation wise, i have 15 loadouts for eidolon, profit taker, eso, defense, spy, etc.

I also viewd some of my firends and clan mates profile to see their usage. From my sample i found that i was the only one with 50% on limbo, there is one i found who has 74.9% on redeemer. Most start from 35-30%.

We have our favourites, however, the trend is very similar. Apart from our favourite top 2-3 items the rest have less than 5% usage most are near 0%.

I see that we have way too many items/junk. When I started on 2017 the game was around 20Gb (unsure) now its 38.6GB on steam.

Well we have our own taste and individuality, so i think that the devs should consolidate some weapons and frames.

Such as combine nekros and hydroid - i only use them for farming. Combine srayn and mesa - they are my tops dps frames

    And such.

We have too many weapons, make types like that of Tomb Raider (2013) - had 4 types pistol, rifle/granade, shotgun, bow

may be make the prime version as prime type variant upgrade like make the prime type rifle a snipe or rocket launcher. Same with wraith or vandal versions or just remove them if suites better or use some new mechanism.

Some might prefer to have loads of weapons to choose from, gives a sense of progression. (just look at my collectoin)

It might be my burnout from this game, i think i would like the devs to remove some or most of items and basically introduce a new game.

I know DE Steve has his vision of warframe which he has been building for the past decade or so.

I just wonder whether a drastic change is possible now and pull a diablo 4 or path of exile 2?

Is the community ok with removing some of the items they paid for? Its f2p anyway

Why though. Their continued existence doesn't take a lot of resources.

It's like how PvP just sits there. People who want to do that content, can. People who don't just ignore it. Neither is hurt by the existence of the other group.

You're talking about removing assets, for no real reason.

At least, for those who participated.

We're on 20 weeks so far, this is by far the longest and the most boring nightwave "event", and the number is only going to rise, and with pretty much nothing to buy from the store once you have everything else on there.

It feels like the rate of Umbra forma being made available to be earned (outside of finding super rare caches within the derelicts of the veil where its very spawn possibility depends on NRG). To give thanks to the community for being patient with NWInt2's extension, maybe DE should give everyone an extra Umbra Forma for the wait.

Only one? Why not 5? Or 10? Or one for each frame we own? Or one for each frame currently in the game? Or just an unending supply?

Or we can look at the rewards and see that we already got one umbral forma and one aura forma, and say "huh I got some free swag, cool".

    IIRC: Yes.

This comes as a mild surprise.

But seriously, I don't know that I'd even let the majority of my family know if I won that kind of cash.

With a place as large as Brasil? I'd probably move away, "for work", and keep in touch with most via phone calls. (Many don't really understand what I do anyway 😅 so I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be a problem.) I'd take good care of them, extended family included, but I would not advertise my good fortune to the whole world.

Of course they wont tell who is the person who won 250 Grand.

I remember the person here who won 40 Million Brazillian Reais in the loterry and he told everyone who he was.

Lets just say the money did not last long, so many friends appeared. And I'm unsure what happened to him.

    Let that sink in.

Last time I was in Sao Paulo the rate was about 1usd to 2reais, I see its closer to 4.5 now. So that dude won somewhere between 9 and 20 million million USD and was dumb enough to tell everyone?

Did he at least last longer than the money did?

No fans. As for blinking, well isnt that supposed to be automatic? 🙂

Supposed to be, but I've personally noticed that I hardly blink during fast paced games unless I die and am waiting for the respawn or something.

Sometimes it gets bad and I need to take breaks from the game and put some eyedrops in.

    Hello there.

I started playing Warframe about two weeks ago, I have about 45h in it. In last couple of days I noticed that my right eye get bloodshot after playing Warframe. Warframe is currently the only game I have installed, but before it I played Project Cars 2, and I would run 2h long races in one sitting without any issues.

I turned off motion blur, bloom, depth of field, film grain, color correction, gpu particles. AA is on medium. FOV is at max value.

Vsync is on, so the fps is locked at 60.

Is there anything else I can do?

On the side note, I wear contact lenses. I have prescribed eye drops that I use couple of times per day. About a month ago I had a regular check with my ophthalmologist and all was good.

Do you have a fan pointed at you while you play? Do you remember to blink?

Good point but I just ran into a rank 6 with a Bramma 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Could have run into the minority but all I can think of is "If I had that at the same MR.....I won warframe"

Oh don't get me wrong, you could probably do it if you really want to. But that's because you have years of experience behind you.

You know how to build, what weapons will work for you, what frames you need. You know how to open relics and how to use trade for fun and profit.

You could do a straight run up the star chart, building only the weapons you want to hit MR 6, and trading for whatever hard to get mods you want on them. Then you could take on your very own lich.

But you would still be using the years of experience you have accumulated.

Is it possible that some newb who is just really good may come along and do all of that? Absolutely.

Is that someone going to be the OP, or share their apparent philosophy? I doubt that.

It's not like warframe is a skill based game to begin with though 🤷‍♂️

The fact that the Kuva Bramma is accessible at MR5 is a bit crazy to think about....I mean that fact alone makes alot of other good weapons MR fodder at that point.

Don't sweat it. OP is MR 6 and has serious difficulty with the fortuna content. You're not going to be seeing a large number of "low MR" newbs running around killing liches any time soon.

But arnt the Kuva weapons themselves MR locked? If they arnt that's a serious boost for lower MR players.

MR5 is the entry point for endgame.

In this game "lower MR" doesn't mean anything. You can regularly see MR20+ players who are not particularly good at what they do, and early-to-mid teen players consistently wiping the floor with the enemies.

First off, basic math. Hornet Strike at max has a cost of 14. With a polarized slot that drops to 7. At MR6 any pistol I have will only have 6 capacity. Solve for "that won't work" and remember to show your equations.

So, don't max it. Or use a different mod. On Earth, even the mk1 weapons can be deadly enough for you to level it up pretty safely. And after doing a few you'll get to go up in MR. Rejoice Tenno, the solution to your problem is close to hand.

    10 hours ago, (PS4)Ashmane84 said:

I was told before that I should trade for plat and buy more slots, but that just started a whole other thing.

Yes, you should. I believe that you got very clear advice on how to trade prime junk for plat. Unfortunately it looks like you would rather whine about that too.

    10 hours ago, (PS4)Ashmane84 said:

It wasn't a mistake, it was more like a trick. I've said it all before, but to sum up here, the game basically threw a kitgun at me. There was absolutely zero signposting to say making one was a bad idea, and tons of in-game encouragement to make one as soon as possible. It was presented as a tutorial. I keep coming back to that, and people keep dismissing it, but it's true. Starting planet, pretty early into that planet, NPC screaming across the map about them the second I walk in.

Yeah you just made another mistake. The starting planet is Earth. It also has endgame content that's easy to access for newbs. It also has vendors screaming at you to come check their wares. You claimed to have a zaw didn't you? Suggests that you should have known that gliding weapons takes quite a lot of progress with the factions involved.

So why you trying to blame others for your screw up?

    10 hours ago, (PS4)Ashmane84 said:

Secondly, it's funny that you mention other MMOs because they all do something that makes it clear when you've wandered into endgame; level gating.

Most of the time they do it by having enemies that kill you very rapidly with very little apparent effort. Pretty sure that's one more thing that you were whining about.

Not being able to make a significant dent in their armor is also usually a good hint, but you've been trying to play off your inability to deal damage as a considered choice, made "to suit your playstyle" or whatever. So no surprise that you would have missed that one.

    10 hours ago, (PS4)Ashmane84 said:

Warframe has level gating. The most significant one is at MR5. That's all that's required to complete the star chart. You already passed it. Come up with a better excuse for why you aren't able to do it.

    9 hours ago, (PS4)Vodka_Vision_ said:

Really, all you had to do was explore her menus. You don't even have to have a kitgun to see the cost to gild one. It's nobody's fault but your own that you were too lazy to even look through all her menus. Seriously, anyone who doesn't even check menus before grabbing at everything deserves no pity.

I already explained to you. MR is meaningless. It means nothing, except a leg up on Unranked weapons. Learning how to mod your gear is where you should be focusing. Who the hell told you to focus on MR right now?.

    and.... MR15 for kitguns:

you can get Kuva weapons at MR5 once you finish the War Within.

On the one hand, yes. You're right- they do. On the other hand, the point I'm driving at is we never had to make that decision. There was never a brick wall of content not meant for us to run into- everything was meant for us, more or less, as it was released. At the very least, there was nothing beyond our capability to do- we already had the tools and equipment to tackle anything not involving a wholly new game mode (like Archwing, way back when, or Railjack more recently.) We never had a situation like guilding kitguns on our second planet and the rep grind roadblocks because we were already done with everything else.

Bad news mate. Look around and see how few people have the closed beta and founder swag.

Then check out how many of us are post PoE. Many of the active players encountered those types of walls. And we dealt with it by doing exactly what I described, and exactly what people have told the OP from the start; "you're not ready yet, go play the rest of the game and progress for a bit". It's only a matter of their own stubborn "I'm already at rank 30 with this warframe, why am I not yet godlike" - refusal to consider what the game was blatantly telling them.

    11 hours ago, (PS4)Ashmane84 said:

I am beginning to get the impression that you, like many here, are violently allergic to context. The person I responded to specifically said he believed I was having trouble LEVELING the kitgun, this was obviously not the case. I realize for certain types of people reading can be difficult, but do try to keep up.

Again. Having any item at rank 30 means nothing. I am stressing it because you are the one who tried to humblebrag about the warframes and weapons you have, and their ranks, without realising that true power requires a lot of mods that take time to acquire and forma-levelling multiple times. This week alone I levelled one weapon to 30, over half a dozen times and I'm still not satisfied. I may need to do it twice more.

As you progress through the star chart and start doing these things, you'll learn how much more powerful you can get.

  19. 1 hour ago, (PS4)Ashmane84 said:

Objectively false in literally every way. My kitgun is already rank 30, and at this point I'm more than halfway done exploring the star chart.

Stop. "My KiTgUn Is RaNk 30" doesn't mean anything. Most of the people on this thread could take a half ranked kitgun with the same parts, and put it next to yours and make yours look like a complete piece of crap. We have better mods than you, and a better understanding of how to come up with a powerful build.

Completing the star chart isn't the end goal you seem to think it is, it's literally a checkpoint near the beginning of your journey. It's possible for someone with experience to get it done in under 40 hours of playing if memory serves. As you go along you're supposed to hit a couple of walls that force you to learn to improve your gear.

Also any quest you have active shows you the objectives in your navigation screen. That's not something you can pretend is "hidden" from you.

Seriously, it looks as though you are just trying to blame the game for your own lack of attention.

As to why Fortuna is where it is, surely you notice that PoE is on Earth. The question was answered already but let's try again and see if you can figure it out this time: They both contain later game content, but act as display pieces that tell new Tenno, "all of this can be yours, in the future, if you stick with the game and git gud".

As to why it's frozen but close to the sun... That's rather the point, you see? It's a way to show that the Orokin were capable of amazing feats, turning the hottest planet in the solar system into a frozen planet. Get it now?

    23 minutes ago, Paradoxity said:

One minor complaint with this- We didn't have *nearly* as many things to deal with as noobs (assuming you started playing back around launch) as they do today.

That actually counters the point you're trying to make. Because they have so many options, it means that they're not barred from progression if they hit a brick wall with any given piece of content. It's a case of just needing to say "huh, guess I'll go work on any of the other half dozen things that I still need to get done".
