Warframe: a cooperative game where more than half of the quests are solo only. What ever happened to the cooperative part?

Since when did Warframe stop being a solo game. Last holdout of co-op play was Raijack but then it got updated.

So, for high-shield enemies, Slash is gonna be useless? This only creates a new meta of toxin/gas.

I mean, yes, that's the goal. It's no longer Slash For Everything, now it's Slash/Corrosive/Heat against armor and Toxin/Gas/Magnetic against shields.

Makes a different meta for each health type which is, you know, the goal of having different health and defense types.

The way it is now (before the update), with 2x Arcane Tanker r3 you get +2400 armor (2x +1200), so this update is a direct nerf. This will have a huge negative impact on Rhino Iron Skin builds (Arcane Tanker + Ironclad Charge + etc).

Yep. They mentioned that all of the double-stacking arcanes were going to get nerfed, but not completely. Instead of having 2x effect they'd have (approximately) 1.5x effect, but with just one arcane. This is a perfect example of them sticking to their plan.

Not just invisible Crewship bubbles, but how absurd the healing the bubble provides. Every weapon but the Cryophons and some Ordance weapons are unable to remotely damage them due to their healing speed. The prolonged healing also makes Outriders nearly unkillable unless you pound it repeatedly with your Archguns for the Tear proc to stack up.

Is it unintended that the healing lasts not only that long, but also to nullify most of the Railjack's arsenal?

Given the bubbles can be destroyed, probably intended.

  5. Easily reproducible:

    1) Start mission

    2) Enter turret

    3) Someone else initiates navigation to anywhere

    4) Remain in seat until warp has initiated, then leave

It causes the entire Railjack's interior to unload, and you can no longer see anything, but you can still interact with everything.

Went through every bloody hotfix and couldn’t find the change, so guess Iwas wrong. Maybe I tested it and didn’t notice a change in damage in the Sim and falsely attributed it to a patch.

You want 26.0.7, "Removed Combo Hit Multiplier with Glaive's hit damage. Only explosive damage will use the Combo Multiplier. "

  7. I am... Fairly confident they not only made a change or two to the lighting engine, but also changed the visuals of the heat proc.

If that's true (at work, can't check) then that's why. Eclipse is tied to local lighting not specific effects, if the new heat is less bright (probably to avoid killing player eyes) that'd be why the change.

It's not a direct action against the build, the build just relies on such a bizarre interaction that it got hurt in other changes.

Might be best if DE just keeps quiet on any coming drops until they are sure.

IE, Maybe this week? Just push it back a week. Track record isn't great DE.  At least Im not wasting more time on Warframe for now.

Do you know when a software developer (more so a game developer) is sure a piece of software is going to release?

    The day it does.

If you want then to keep quiet about releases until they're sure all you're getting is never knowing when something new's going to be released, because it's never announced.

Are you perhaps working under the assumption that this precept would work at all times with all attacks instead of being an individual attack with a cool down like Sharpened Claws? Because Hunter Recovery is active at all times.

No matter how much damage it does over base damage. If it's not active at all times then you would still need Hunter Recovery, making it redundant.

Not really, you only need it when you have an amount of health you need to recover. Tbh it's cooldown will be important to wether it's better than HR or not, if it can trigger often enough with say, a 3 or 4s cooldown would make it better than HR

  10. 1 minute ago, Jarriaga said:

The polarity is irrelevant since you can forma them.

How would it make her not need Hunter Recovery? And why add it as a precept to begin with when HR exists? How is that ability not redundant when you have Hunter Recovery? Will they stack together or what?

My 6 Forma Venari and Adarza both with max-ranked Maul, Bite, and viral status would like a word with you.

Yep, and my Helminth Charger can deal way more damage. You kavat should be dealing about 344 Slash/412.8 viral, my Charger 1307 Slash/200.38 Toxin without elemental mods, taking average crit chances into account your cats are going for 4165 average, my dog 6223 average. Biggest difference between both is that dogs deal a lot more raw damage, kavats got more utility. What if, though, the vampiric bite has a base damage of 600 instead of 80? The damage the drain attack deals suddenly skyrockets.

The idea I think they're going is that, most likely, she wouldn't need Hunter Recovery because the precept is generally stronger and more efficient. It can likely stack, too.

Isn't it a bit redundant when we have this?

    latest?cb=20181130034221

Not precisely. Remember every pet has two precepts, and generally already come with two penjaga polarities.

If she has a drain precept then she might just not need hunter recovery, it will also likely deal Actual Damage because, as a Kavat, she likely deals almost no damage.

They are quite strong as people said. They can also handle arc guns on land and still be more mobile than a human, if with some adjustments.

Don't forget, though, that on the ground archguns need a gravimag to be wielded. They're probably to large to be controlled that easily without a special system to keep them stable and their momentum under control.

Another week of not being fixed.

Technically, this is never getting fixed.

Because they're killing pause combos in the update that comes along with Wukong Deluxe. They just mentioned and showed the combos in the latest devstream.

Hm, so if I got this right, you need at least 8 hours of work before any kind of build plus some non time estimated works.

Specifically, after the update is done by the devs it needs to be "baked" for about eight hours by a special server that makes so it can be distributed to the players.

I don't believe the drop tables at all, the last two days I have fought the wolf 4 times and every time I have received molten impact.  Statistically that's not suppose to happen, 3 times in a row I can account for statistically, but not 4.

Since the drop table was changed I have only received the molten impact mod, and not anything else.  That statistically cannot happen.

DE keeps playing with the Wolf of Saturn Six, but I get the feeling they think they have him fixed but he's really screwed up bad.

Nope, this statistically is CERTAIN to happen within a large though sample size.

Surprise, within the gigantic sample size that is Warframe's playerbase, the highly unlikely but still possible occurrence was yours. That's luck, just not the kind you wanted.

Ok. This has happened many times. Solo mission on Sycorax. Half the kills finished and the next (red) waypoint sends me to the exit (deserted).

Then I need to go back and wait for respawns or search the map myself.

That's normal behavior, though. If you no longer have any currently spawned enemies it points you towards the exit.

Stand in front of an enemy with both abilities active. You Will get shot. A lot. Especially with a heavy gunner.

I mean, yes of course, between the cadence of fire and the fact that either 65% or 80% accuracy reduction is still not 100% you will get shot, a lot.

Thing is, do you get shot more one with just one than you get shot with both?

Unfortunately you can't stack them. I tried to activate Tribute and than Razor Wing but it was still saying 50% evasion. Many ppl are still pissed because of this and the fact that you can't use power strength to make evasion higher.

I mean... I know I'm a noob here but isn't the tribute bonus an effect that reduces enemy accuracy in the range while razorwing increases your own evasion?

Which means one effect changes your attributes, while another changes the enemy's. So only one of them would show in your attributes.

How would you check wether they actually stack I'm not sure.

    • the orb can somehow cool herself too without any help... not sure if those fracture creating is meant to cool her, or the flame attacks she does, which only make partial sense, but she should surely heat up far more and/or quicker be herself if we shoot all (or most) raktoids down before they... puke... on her - then, only one or two canister of thermia should finish the job to shut her down for a while. this would also help those who like to solo her.

This part, it's actually a bit of what'd be called a "DPS Check", although more of a "Mechanics Check"

Her heat gauge resets when she summons more fractures, so you need to get her heat gauge high enough between two fracture attacks. Her heat doesn't go down to zero, though, I think it gets down to 25% or 30%?

Also i'm under the impression that the total amount of coolant/thermia she gets from raknoids/you defines how high her heat gauge gets when she uses some of her moves, you'll notice she's about to pop when she uses the firestorm, by that point her gauge goes bonkers almost 50%.

  20. From what I understand, it's not that Tatsu's passive is being locked to a frame.

It's more that a frame's passive was erroneously put into the Tatsu.

Perhaps firing projectiles with heavy strikes is part of Wisp's abilities, and that'd indicate *why* it had strange interactions with mods and abysmally low damage, it was lacking all the modifiers that would come from the frame itself.

Fight mechanics are unexplained, I almost didn't find the insert prompt for the Thermia. I'm now sitting here looking at an invulnerable Exploiter Orb. Sitting on the ground. What Vents! This is awful and opaque design!

Once again a lack of clear commutation in-game, on in-game things. This must change DE.

You know what's hilarious about this.

The moment they mentioned the vents the Exploiter's vents shined so that I could see where all four of them are. But it's also the particular shine that breakable objects use! And given I had been hunting breakables for a riven challenge just before this patch dropped the visual effect was still in my mind, but I can see how one can miss it.
