    And I got a ..... weapon slot.

I guess I could have got a warframe slot which I couldnt even use since Im maxxed, so not the absolute worst for me.

This grab bag is kind of like a lottery where you can either win a new car or belly button lint.

Warframe slots will never go out of style, so long as new frames are being added. Unless, of course, you buy all new frames. (What a concept!)

The Dullahan helmet and Dog days ephemera both costed 1 credit and 1 nakak pearl respectively because of their temporary nature. The 'Soaker' ephemera is the fish one you're referring to and i don't believe thats a temporary one since it costed more than a few hundred pearls iirc. They also did not explicitly mention that the soaker ephemera was leaving.

Yup. Fishies definitely stay. Been using mine for most of the past year. :P

It's just odd that they are okay to keep, while the pumpkin mask for some reason is considered too seasonal. *shrug*

Huh? Chatty Ordis Campaign? What do these drops mean?

It means there are no drops SPECIFIC to Prime Time / International. Every campaign (with its tiered drops) runs for a week and can be obtained from ANY Twitch channel streaming Warframe during the corresponding week.

For information on what the campaign drops are, check out this link, whichTaylor also posted above.

  4. If I may make a suggestion?

Ideally you would have the second drop item be the most coveted/rare one, and possibly repeat the first for drop #3 or have it be a useful filler type of thing (like the Forma in this week's case), so no one will feel slighted here.

It's of no consequence to me personally, because I tend to be there for everything anyway, but it would go a long way towards allowing the Prime-Time-only viewers the full benefit of whatever is deemed the best drop, while still encouraging full viewtimes for others.

  5. Had some issues with the Tyl Regor boss fight stage of yesterday's Sortie:

Thee PC players (including the host), one on Xbox.

The Xbox player stayed unmoving for a long time at the mission start, even died there once, and did not respond to messages in chat. They eventually left (or timed out, maybe), to be replaced with another Xbox player, which suffered from the same condition (presumably).

The rest of us kept waiting in the boss room, but eventually I aborted because there was no way to trigger the boss fight.

Setting my options to disable crossplay temporarily allowed me to finish the Sortie. But of course I was all by myself at that point, so I can't tell whether this was, in fact, the cure, or whether not having anyone join me simply circumvented any squad loading issues.

  6. Been playing quite a bit this weekend and integration has worked smoothly for me. While the first test resulted in a lot of failures to connect, that has stopped entirely - at least for the normal stuff, like fissures or basic missions, as those are all I did.

I see that someone here had issues with fissures specifically, or fully radiant relic runs, but I can't confirm this on my end - and I did a lot of those, most of them in mixed squads or even with me as the only PC player.

The only issues that popped up where the usual ones, i.e. players putting in the wrong relic or dropping out, or the occasional connection issue, plus of course host switching during the load-in to the mission (which turned out fine every single time today). But none of this happened in higher frequency than normal, and I could not see any correlation to whether it was a mixed squad or not.

To my surprise an Xbox player actually managed to invite a bunch of us into his dojo (as guests). I wasn't aware this was possible just yet. (It looked amazing, by the way. I hope to see it pop up in a future dojo showcase.)

So far the greatest benefit to me is how much easier it is to get a full squad when playing on public, regardless of time of day (or night). :D Getting excited now for this.

Please keep up the great work! <3

Pretty sure that the drops are to give something to those that watch the stream voluntary.

For some reason a lot of people think that the boxes are a reason to watch the stream...

You watch the stream because you like watching the stream, not because there's a reward.

    Thanku for reading my rant

I completely agree with you and I liked the streams and will miss them.

On the other hand, drops always provided that tiny bit of motivation needed to make me interrupt what else I was doing at the time and tune in.

That's what such drops really are, realistically: Just some incentive to check things out and see if you want to stay for the actual stream. Which I almost always did. <3

You also can and should demand respect when changes happen though, especially when they happen to harm a great chunk of the playerbase who live in other time zones. You gain nothing by blindly accepting changes.

Well, in when it comes to human rights issues and important things, I agree with you.

But this is a game and they are perfectly within their rights to run it as they like. In fact, no one suffers actual harm here, monetary or otherwise. Losing out on freebies or even information about a game is not going to cause anyone any damage. So yeah. In this case? Definitely going to shrug my shoulders and move on.

Also, I do not see this as a matter of respect/disrespect. Apparently wasting several hours of paid time each week on entertaining the community is not providing enough worth in exchange.

But hey! Maybe at some point there will be special community streams only accessible via real-money subscriptions. :P Not that I would care anymore at that point, but upset over that sort of thing would make a lot more sense to me.

  9. Too bad. I enjoyed the streams. But I suppose it frees up everyone's time, mine included.

It just sucks for anyone unable to make it to that single chance each week, especially those in different time zones. *shrug*

Not sure I will be able to stay up this late. What I will miss most is being updated on what is going on. So much information was to be had during the streams that I never caught in other places. (The VODs will still be available but the motivation to sit there for two hours is low with those.)

But change is inevitable. Gotta roll with it. <3

lets take bets on how many bugs this round eh?

    Also

Why the heck no revert to tranq gun and abilities yet? I miss scroll wheel activating my abilities while hunting. swapping all the time is a pain in the arse

Indeed. Some months ago, Preservation instantly became one of my least favourite "mission" types.

This may not be QUITE the same thing, but I used to select abilities via a shortcut that called upon the last used ability. Now I need to press the Preservation button (also a shortcut) several times to get rid of the tranq gear, press the key for my ability, and then cycle through the Preservation button again to get it back to the condition I needed it in. No fun.

I will do it at some point (probably using Sevagoth, because why not - it's like farming for Ivara using Ivara). I do all the quests, just in case they become prerequisites for some future quest. Call of the Tempestarii is listed as an optional quest...for now.

I still have to finish ranking up Entrati, so the quest will be a diversion from endless ganglion farming.

XD Oh that will be funny! You will have two Sevagoths interacting then. I hope you end up enjoying yourself.

Ganglions really are the easiest, huh? I usually manage to clean out Father's offerings when I visit. Aside from that, conservation's a really good source of standing as well, now that we get bonus tags for capture quality.

Also, you probably know this, but the little golden containers all over the drift often have very useful resources as well (fish bits, gems etc). Sometimes I just take Loki for a speedy run around the place with my crate-exploding Carrier. It works extra well if I lucked into a double drop booster. <3

I hate literally everything about the game mode, like it does nothing right. Everything you listed i hate. Even the fact its now just a glorified taxi, it just means i have to waste my time getting to do the part of warframe i like. Why even have it then? Cut the middle man and just do whats worked for the past 8 years,

I have not been playing for eight years myself but from what I have seen the games has undergone a lot of changes, and I probably would not have enjoyed the initial versions much. So I am not quite sure what you mean by "what's worked for the past eight years".

As for Railjack? I dreaded it when I first heard about it coming. Then it did and I built the dry dock and my ship and tried it out - and was lost and ended up hating the entire experience. I left it alone for some months... quite a lot of months.

I only returned during the Scalet Spear event. Some kind soul took the time to help me learn what to do. The roles were pretty fixed at the time, and I would do away missions or be the engineer mainly. Flying a ship? Shooting with a ship? Not for me. ^^ But I kind of learned to enjoy it for what it was and got all my Intrinsics maxed during the event and its associated affinity booster. It made me stop hating the game mode, even though I would not seek it out without reason.

However, the most recent changes to Railjack really made it even more accessible than previous ones. If you like the main Warframe game modes, then this is just an extension now, especially the Corpus missions. The AI crews enable solo play beautifully and will take care of most of the space shooting for you. Then again it may help that I am fairly comfortable with Archwing these days, so I will go out and manually sabotage the crewships instead of trying to shoot them with the big guns.

It's actually kinda fun now for me, who really is not into space combat whatsoever.

All of that being said, if you just hate the idea to the extent that you do not want to give it a try? That's certainly your prerogative. :) It's simply difficult to really gauge something like this without having given it a genuine try first.

Whatever you end up doing, I hope you find something to have fun with. :)

Doesn’t seem like I have a choice anymore (although...I bought Gloompuppy so I don’t technically need to do the quest unless I want a riven mod).

I usually have the music off as well, but it worked here. Plus the quest is nice and quick, so you may enjoy it for what it is. :3 And maybe scan those somachord fragments!

Is the drop rate broken on Sevagoth parts? I've been grinding for awhile and I've never gotten a chassis. Been at void storms on neptune, pluto, and veil, no luck. Not a single chass! Would be nice if we could get a part guaranteed after a certain amount of working for it, DE.

I had no issues getting the weapon parts and two sets of Sevagoth (plus many duplicates of certain parts). It just took a while, as usual, and there would be ten or fifteen runs with nothing, and then maybe a few almost in a row with parts.

But I should note that I got all of these in solo mode, so maybe that is a factor.

    -snip-

What? Rewards are not the same? Is this a new thing? Because prior to this update rewards and bonus rewards were shared.

I cannot test this out currently because hardly any railjack fissure I squad up for (or try to squad up for) ends up with a reward at all. (It's either alt+F4 time or aborting the mission, sadly. Solo is fine for me though.)

As of now, after farming Seva and the Epit there's no reasons to go run Void Storms aside personal pleasure of flying in space, the time invested / reward ratio is simply not there when it comes to relics even on the fastest exterminate mission.

Unless you start allowing the ability of carrying and cracking 5+ relics at a time, void fissures are a dead on arrival addition, without counting the eye cancer, extreme eye cancer that they are ( hopefully the fix works for real and drastically tones down the visual clutter )

It is sadly true. I don't dislike those missions, but they're just hugely inefficient in terms of time and effort, and I doubt I will return to them voluntarily once I get that final part of my second Sevagoth (for Helminth to enjoy).

STILL no fix for the map breaking 100% of the time and constantly, as reported here

I actually think that the tactical menu is what interferes with the overlay map. Because the map also goes invisible every time I come out of tactical (aside from randomly at other times).

Luckily there is a workaround (press M twice) - but that still is a hassle in the more stressful missions.

Some people really rely on the overlay map. I have trouble finding enemies without it and navigation is a no-go. <3

  18. Indeed. "Crossfire" makes no sense as a mission type, really. It's more of an enemy type denominator, and we already have a spot for that in the info, currently showing only one group of the enemies present.

So maybe it should say "Crossfire" instead of "Corpus" in that new screenshot.
