  1. To add my own two cents: I think the melee change is good. It has some bugs, that need to be ironed out, but all in all it's a good change

What I like about the change a lot: It actually makes me play more naturally with stances. As in, before the change I never used stances, just quick melee. I prefer the flow of a quick few strikes and then be ready to shoot in an instant, without having to press extra buttons.

That's what I actually got and I think is the reason why DE made the change. Now I can actually use great stances, like Tempo Royale and it makes sense to pick a proper stance. Before I just used quick melee 99.9% of the time and didn't even know what the stance does.

So big plus on that side. On the other. I do hear a lot of bugs related to melee 2.99997 and found some tangential ones myself. But with everything on PC, there will be bugs and DE tries to find the biggest, game breaking ones, on common setups. Don't forget that they are less than 200 people total, who make this very complex game, with unique mechanics everywhere.

I call myself lucky, as I haven't experienced too many of them. So my view might be biased, but I hope that stances get a little bit of polish in the next phase, so I can enjoy them even more.

All in all also great work on it so far and keep bug fixing!

  2. Version: Fortuna 24.2.15

This bug was only seen in the final Profit Taker fight so far, but could potentially happen elsewhere.

A friend and I took on the Profit Taker together. She hosted it and had no issues so far, but for me the following happened:

I lost my health, fell over, and my primary weapon was still equipped. I couldn't shoot at all.

If I revived myself, everything reset and I could shoot normally, switch weapons etc.

But if my friend revived me, the bug persisted and I could neither shoot nor change my weapon (to secondary or arch).

Surprisingly enough, I could still hear the arch gun summon sound, but it didn't change anything to the fact that I couldn't shoot at all or actually change the weapon.

Quick melee was still usable though.

The only way to reset, is to go down and revive myself.

I can't comment much on what caused it, as the fight is pretty hectic and I think that changing weapons might have to do something with it happening. At least it didn't happen every time I'm gone done. But often enough that I had to use all my revives and was completely useless in the last phase.

    EDIT

Did another run and took down the Profit Taker. This time the issue didn't happen.

What I can say is, that I didn't change from primary to secondary (and vice versa), while going down.

In the last run I know of at least one occasion where it happened, when I changed my weapon from primary to secondary and gone down while the change happened.

It might be related to changing between primary and secondary, but I can't either confirm or deny
