    *UPDATE* I verified and optimized my download and that seemed to fix the issue. However, after some time playing on and off throughout the day I'm starting to notice the stutters again at regular intervals.

    This appears to have worked for me. The regular lag spikes every minute are gone, however I did notice a spike whenever Ordis would chime in. Ill post if anything changes as I play today.

  3. - Will DE fix the network lag inside the Orbiter?

    I can't prove it, but I believe this bug is also tied to many of issues still plaguing Railjack.

    I've tried turning vsync off/on and changing other settings and nothing gets rid of it. It comes and goes like every 30-60 seconds and when it hits my frames drop below 60fps.

    There is an old bug where too many ready to claim might drop FPS in Orbiter and Relay. The login screen and missions will stay as high FPS.

    I'm MR 28, I don't build much of anything these days, maybe a forma here and there. This lag is a recent addition, it must have been introduced within the last couple patches because I've never noticed it before a few weeks ago.

     

  6. I don't know what changed with the last couple updates, but the performance of the game has tanked considerably. Inside my Orbiter I regularly experience frame rate drops, freezes and stuttering. When using menus there is noticeable input lag with the cursor to a point where I'm constantly clicking on the wrong menu item. I don't know how it's possible, but the game seems to run worse inside my Orbiter then out in a mission.

  7. Ever try to join a Railjack mission? More often then not, you will find there is no group available. Which means most people are either playing with pre-formed groups, playing alone or just not playing the mission at all. I think people just aren't playing this game mode much. Stacked on top of this disinterest, are the absurd levels of grind and RNG, making it even more unappealing. When you finally finish your Railjack quests and everything is forged, you are greeted with the most  tedious missions, where your Railjack is ineffective and you're forced to use your Archwing in order to make the starting experience some what bearable. All of this has turned many players away and most choose to not even bother with Railjack at all.

    I come from a tightly knit clan, we have a handful of members, we run Nightwave every week, do Sorties daily and choose to experience all the new content when it drops as a clan, with one exception... Railjack. My clanmates would rather play entirely different games then invest time into Railjack. My clan went from being very active on a daily basis, to practically dead in a matter of days after Railjack released. I suspect this might be the case for many "end-game" players and clans as well.

    This has been my experience and supported by my opinions, but surely with all of DE's tracking data they can see the trends and I hope they turn this around.

  8. With the introduction of melee 3.0, melee weapons have become really powerful, so much so, that they now do way more damage then exalted weapons could ever hope to achieve. Why is this? Exalted Weapons can't use Acolyte mods. Mods like Blood Rush and Weeping Wounds turn regular melee weapons into monsters. With this new meta, some of my favorite frames, like Wukong and Valkyr have fallen to the way side, because their exalted abilities just aren't as useful as they once were. So what do I propose? Allow the use of Acolyte mods in Exalted weapon builds.

    *Also allow the use of Amalgam Mods in Exalted weapon builds.

  9. The Kuva Larvaling is not spawning after the red screen flicker notification. This happens multiple times a day when I'm trying to get my next Lich. A process that should only take a few minutes ends up taking 30-40mins because the larvaling isn't spawning when it should. I mainly run Rusalka and Naga on Sedna to find my Larvaling, so maybe it is specific to these missions, I'm not sure.

     

  10. I love the Kuva Lich system. Instead of converting the Lich and having him show up for 30 seconds once in a blue moon, let us play as our Lich. You could choose to play as one of your frames or as your Lich with Kuva weapons. The possibilities are endless, with all the different combinations of powers and weapons. The replay value of the Kuva Lich system is already high, but adding in the ability to play as one would make it sky-rocket!

  11. Chat and UI scaling is broken. Every time I log in or enter/exit a mission, my Chat/UI scaling grows or shrinks, after I change it back to a normal level it will change back to a crazy size for no reason.

  12. I don't know if this is intended or not, but three or four times in a row I'll get the same +300% frame in Arbitration. My friends and clan-mates also have this problem. I play a lot of Arbitration, this is clearly not a random occurrence, this happens everyday, multiple times a day. As I'm writing this, Arbitration has reset 3 times in a row and each time I had Revenant as my +300% frame. I don't know why the randomness was taken out, but it was more fun when the Arbitration reset and you had a different +300% frame to choose to play or not.

  13. Downloaded the update. Launched the game. The log in screen in enormous. I can only see the upper left quarter of the login screen. Not even going to bother logging in until this fixed.

  14. My thoughts on how to fix Arbitrations.

    1. Either remove 300% Warframe Strength and 300% Weapon Damage buffs all together, or give a flat 300% to all frames and primaries used in Arbitrations. Most players I know just wait till their favorite frame/weapon pops up in the Alerts before deciding to do an Arbitration. This is an obstacle of entry for alot of us.

    2. Allow us to choose what type of mission we want to do. No one wants to do Defection (if you do, good for you, the majority of us dont). Again, most people I play with just wait for their favorite mission mode to pop up in the Alerts before jumping in. This is another obstacle of entry.

    3. Remove the Alert timer. When I have finished an Arbitration, sometimes I want to jump right back in. Again, another obstacle of entry.

    4. Reduce the reward cycle from every 10 waves/mins to every 5 waves/mins. Farming Arbitrations is tedious enough as is.

    5. Scale enemy difficulty at a faster rate.

    6. Remove debuffs attained from player pick-up tokens.

    Think that sums up my thoughts, anyone have any other ideas?

    Yes ground slam works and yes all you need to do is tap melee again, but these are extra steps we have to take in order to correct something that feels unnatural. It feels awkward and clumsy to have to do all these things, when aim glide worked perfectly before.

    This effects all frames! Taking away the ability to block while in aim glide hurts all frames and builds. Plus I can't think of a single instance where it is ever needed to switch between aim down sights and melee while in a single jump. I like the auto-swapping, they just need to remove the mechanic while in aim glide. It's pointless and only hinders play or forces us players to jump through hoops in order to play in a way that feels natural.

  17. Was playing Valkyr today in ESO. I use an infinite Hysteria build, it is active all the time and that's the way I like it. A teammate was downed on a catwalk below me, no problem I'll just hop down there and rez him, no need to go into operator mode, Hysteria will protect me and I can rez this person without issue. Well the catwalk is tiny and in order to not overshoot my landing I tap Aim Glide a couple times on the way down, I land right on target and begin rezzing... What I hadn't noticed was that Aim Glide had taken me out of Hysteria and I was a sitting duck... of course i died.

    When you have a melee weapon active, Aim Gliding should not automatically equip your gun. We need to be able to Aim Glide with melee weapon in hand in order to block incoming fire and also land where we want to. Taking the away the ability to Aim Glide with a melee weapon is hindering us, not helping us. This is ruining the way we play melee and ruining the way we play frames with exalted melee weapons!

    Is there a Stasis Chamber for frames? Because, I might as well put Valkyr, Wukong, Excalibur and Baruuk in ice.

    Right now, to switch weapons, all you have to do is click fire to use your secondary or melee to start a melee combo. I see no difference if you just have the weapons in hand already like a glaive+pistol combo. When using the glaive+pistol combo, the secondary is auto-equipped to your offhand and glaive is equipped to main hand allowing you to do melee combos or throw the weapon. Using this as a template I think it would be just as easy to auto-equip a 1H sword in the main hand and pistol in the offhand and use them in a similar manner.
