a) Thinks that everyone should be able to get everything, I don't know when that kind of entitlement began, but it needs to stop, it's ok for games to have things that you can't get for some reason or another.
b) Thinks that their personal traits, those obsessive and compulsive traits that mean they feel they have to do everything NOW, is shared with the entire community, it's not.
The world will not stop turning because you didn't get an exclusive armour set.

When did it change that everyone had to be able to get everything?, if people feel obliged to get everything, that's on them.
Do those exclusive rewards really make your experience that much better?, does it really matter if you don't get them?, I don't get why people sweat over this stuff so much.

It's not, but there is nothing forcing you to buy it, the content can be gotten in game for free, so your argument is moot.
Some of us just like to support DE, $105 AUD is nothing to me, but I understand it is to some, hence why you have the option to earn it, for free, in game.

If the game feels like a grind, stop playing and play something else

Just watch a stream (with your Warframe account linked to twitch) with the drops enabled (they usually say in the description), and they drop every hour, they are then delivered to your inbox in game.
You don't need to do anything else, it's very straightforward.

Host migrations are a problem, but that's just the way the game is, and until DE manage to fix it, it's like it or lump it I am afraid.

In fact, it's even worse with plat or any other virtual currency because it has no value outside of it's narrow field of use. For the matter of fact, if you try to turn plat back into IRL money, you'd get banned because it's not allowed. With actual paper Monopoly money, you could at least put them on ebay and see if anyone's interested. XDI mean, even EULA states that you don't even own the account you are using. What sort of "currency ownership" can you be talking about? XD

Yea, paying another 300$ (or whatever amount it is to have 0 Balance and be able to play again) is not going to happen for him. He is very disappointed how DE handels those situations.
How we are supposed to "know" if the Person we are going to trade with purchased his platinum for real? How can I be sure that the next trade I do will not get me banned and left with negative balance? This case just showed me that I can´t be sure and I have to take the high risk with basically no reward.
I still don´t really get how you can scam Microsoft out of that Money. Transactions on the Microsoft store on xbox can´t be undone as far as I know even with a credit Card. And even if so, that would result in a Problem with Microsoft and not with DE or what part am I missing here or not seeing clearly?
It´s just sad for us, we love Warframe, we played it a lot and would have played it in the future. We were looking forward to the new update Fortuna for console and new frames and weapons. Now we have to play crap like Destiny 2 lol (sorry I couldn´t resist that joke)
It is a sad situation, and I am sure DE doesn't want this to happen either, but it does.
You can do chargebacks on consoles, it happens a lot, you risk an account ban by doing so (not sure about a console ban), but you can just make a new one.
The only way you can protect yourself is to leave any plat you get from trading for a period of time before you spend it.

No, because they have already spent the stolen plat, so it's lost from the economy and it needs replacing.
The best solution (that I can think of) is some kind of enforced cool down period on spending (maybe larger numbers of) plat, so if it is indeed stolen, then they just lose that, rather than having to replace it with "real money"
