And its rather ugly and demonic

I’m still kinda sketch about the helmet but I’ll have to see it in-game tbh.

Good point you make, this was my biggest gripe with her Deluxe concept art (kinda has an angel/demon thing going on). She’s Yin/Yang, but it’s a huge misconception that one is inherently evil. There’s bad in the good and good in the bad, together they balance each other. This is life.

    Your Warframe suits you!

    Something something DiD.

    It’s both a blessing and a curse.

Edit: You actually gave us an idea so thanks.

  3. Interception is probably your best bet if your squad has decent CC and can keep the points under control. Same goes for Excavation if y’all can handle it.

I chose to do solo Defense for mine, it’s my favorite mission type in general so I didn’t mind that 40 wave missions were like an hour long. I don’t really do Arbitration much but getting Seeding Step was kinda fun, so I can see myself doing more in the future.

RNG isn't an accomplishment though. There are some players who get it in a few runs and other who grind hundreds and never see it. Who went the extra mile?

I just acknowledged that in my previous post, above yours. I agree with you.

A lot of what I say sounds contradictory because I speak before I think, then I go back and adjust where necessary. Prime example are my first few posts in this thread. Not proud of it, but I’m only human.

Anyway, as an afterthought, how about Ephemera specific challenges kinda like the ones mentioned above? Instead of a 2% drop chance in Arbitration, how about getting to Rot C Arbitration 10 times or something as a requirement/unlock for the blueprint. Amount of times could be adjusted as necessary, we’re decidedly not elite so not sure if 10 is a good amount or not. 🤦‍♀️

Inb4 comment that once again adds nothing to the conversation

    Maybe a little bit?

DE acknowledged the content drought, it was indeed a thing. I have hopes it’ll get better later on in the year.

Also, if everyone could stop blowing stuff out of proportion that’d be great. I’ve honestly just been having a day the past couple of days and sometimes it comes out in ways I wish it wouldn’t. We’ve apologized and moved on, it’s not gonna happen again.

    Now... Ephemera!

Probably going to try and go for Blazing Step when I’m on vacation, I’ll report back with results. I got really lucky with Seeding Step, shouldn’t have to be that way. Getting to Rot C Arbitration solo was an ordeal, but it only took two runs to get it. Not exactly something to be proud of imo, but at least it’s pretty.

are you a ranged player or something? You sound like one to me. If so this thread is not for you.

You know what they say about people who assume?

I am a melee main, just not delusional enough to dismiss the current issues with the system as it stands.

  7. Why oh why would you make yet another thread on this subject while there are plenty to choose from and offer your feedback? 🤦‍♀️

It’s not “perfect” in its current incarnation, there are a lot of things to work out. No “figment of the imagination” about it.

The very first attack with sparring weapons (at least with Brutal Tide) now launches you forward a considerable distance.

Been awhile since I’ve gone Kogake Prime, might have to see this for myself. Stuck on Dark Split-Sword lately.

Melee 3.0 isn’t fully rolled out yet and they’re still taking feedback into account, can’t everyone agree to disagree? All sides are important when it comes to feedback because everyone has a different playstyle. Just speaking generally because of the overall tone of this thread. Kinda hostile in here, granted I’m not exactly a saint when I get triggered so it’s a little understandable.

As for the changes made to Melee so far, it took me a little bit to adjust but I’m doing just fine right now. I have hopes they’ll work out any kinks in the new system moving forward. Just be patient.

Edit: For clarity, I’m almost always a dedicated melee main. Guns are only for things my melee can’t kill, which isn’t a lot.

I really don't like the rib-cage and think the new day form especially is a marked improvement. Anyway, I'm happy with the prime design, different tastes I guess.

You’re not wrong, Day form looks fantastic. Huge improvement over the original, imo. Looking forward to going Day more now.

You can see it's there, it's on her back. It also uses the accents, so it's gold 😉

Yep, it’s indeed on her back. Just not as noticeable as it is on the base Warframe but that’s alright.

Its not the actual grinding they like...

In my case it is, don’t speak for everyone.

Years of RuneScape prepared me for this.

Anyway, you should try using your weapons more whenever you level a new one. You might be surprised and find one you like. 🙂

Dang I forgot about the stun! I now remember when I build my own energy transfer build and make used of it.

But what about arbitrations when the drones are everywhere? you cant control them by that trick right?

Mmm, nope. No abilities work on the drones so this can be problematic when there is a particularly large group of enemies huddled together under one, because they are also protected from abilities. Movement is key when this happens because later into Arbitration you’re not going to want an enemy to even sneeze at you. Unless you’re Inaros, but I like to push myself lol.

I’m primarily melee, my Dark Split-Sword is my “main” weapon for now. I have a decent build on it, but with Primed Reach it kinda takes out the drones quick, fast and in a hurry. I don’t use Maiming Strike, but spin/slide attacks can be your best friend.

My advice is to never rely on only your Warframe or only your weapons. Find balance, because your weapons may save you where your abilities may not.

Now if you’ll forgive me, I must sleep. Work comes early in the morning. 😛

What holds you on to the game?

    Wait, this is a game?

In all seriousness, I love Warframe and its community. It has gotten me through quite a few rough patches in life, so I'm here until the end. A real "ride or die".

Also, it has Equinox so... there's that. 😊

wow you truely a master of Equinox.

I'm quite confused how did you manage to survive in such an intense fight, without using Adaptation and Quick Thinking Etc.? Did you just use Pacify in Night aspect only to make use of the damage reduction?

I always treat Equinox to suit the mission under lvl 100. But your Equinox has gone beyond my imaginations.

Oh geez, I think I blushed a little quite honestly.

I play with Energy Transfer, I'm usually in Day form for all of two seconds only to deactivate Maim and reactivate to get the stunlock from the slash proc before I switch back to Night. I can also just spam Metamorphosis (almost) infinitely and keep enemies perma-stunlocked because of it. Funny stuff, that.

Night gives me overshields with Mend, and I make frequent use of Rest and Pacify as well. Things can't kill me if they're sleeping, but most of the time because of Energy Transfer/Natural Talent they're already dead.

Other than that, lots and lots of movement, constantly stay on the move. It helps that all of her abilities are able to be cast in the air, and that I'm a melee main so I've been used to parkour for a long time.

Edit: Was just re-reading through this thread. There's like 3 or 4 different threads in here, mad confusing stuff those mergers. 🤣

The issue I have it's again just stupid RNG

ephemeras are not doing what they are supposed to be doing. having good rng is not prestige. not at all.

Y'all aren't wrong about the luck aspect of things.

Going back and re-reading what I posted about the Devstream #123 Overview, "completing a specific challenge" should not equate to luck. First of all, that's a weird way to word it. 🤔

  15. 7 minutes ago, -Defeater- said:

i apologize for being like that as well. should probably have worded my post better, i understand there are people who dont mind going into old content, i should have probably focused more on the positives of putting it in new content rather than the negatives of putting it in old content. youre most likely correct, they probably will put new ones in new content, it just bugs me to see stuff like this, where they could have done something interesting with them.

What's done is done, water under the bridge and all that.

This is why feedback from both perspectives is important tbh, in order to reach a compromise. I realize that not everything can make all sides happy but what's the harm in trying?

Prodman posters was a good example of something to do about it. Still challenging, still requires effort, makes it seem worth it. I'm with you on that one.

  16. 17 minutes ago, -Defeater- said:

I can have an opinion, my opinion is that most people dont want early prime part level % drop rates in old content. to me, that seems pretty obvious. we had a whole year of almost no content, then they release this sub par event, and add ephemera into content weve been keeping ourselves busy with since last year. if you want that trend to continue, please say so now, if not, you disagree, and therefore should try posing an alternative, or describe how putting new items into old content helps the game. as i see it, its just lazy on DEs part. it gains 0 revenue for them, and putting them in the market or hey, maybe making them trade able, would net them some sort of possible income.

I'm going to ignore your previous statement because I actually would like to talk about this, so if we could drop the hostility on both accounts that would be great. Not saying I'm perfect, we're both in the wrong a little imo, so I'm sorry for that.

I think what @SelfishNeko suggested is a good start. That ESO grind can be a little painful, I don't know why it shouldn't get the Arbitration treatment in the very least.

It's my opinion that there will likely be newer Ephemera coming out eventually with new content, which will be nice. The current placements are fine imo but there is always room for improvement going forward, I don't see the ones we currently have changing position anytime soon if at all. I guess I just don't understand what new content they're supposed to stick these Ephemera in when there is no new content to speak of, save for Shocking and Freezing Step dropping from Exploiter.

  17. 10 minutes ago, -Defeater- said:

everything is subject to change and you know that because its been done before. rivens have dispositions changed, content gets changed, lets not pretend warframe isnt still holding onto the beta tag so they can do that exact sort of thing.

Except when it comes to Riven disposition changes, they were never intended to be fixed values in the first place.

    GGocnfK.png

    From the Devstream #123 Overview.

Subject to change? Sure, but you seem to speak a lot on laziness for someone that isn't willing to put effort into acquiring them. Go big or go home. 🤷‍♀️

im positive most people do not want to go back and farm stuff with less than 5% drop rates in old content

This would be the point of Ephemera. It's not meant to be a handout.

  19. Ephemera are not required or mandatory, they are for Tenno that want to go the extra mile and have something to show for it.

With the amount of effort and patience it takes to get them, nothing says slap in the face like putting Ephemera on the market.

so if I sound obsessive or overly bothered, don't be amazed.

Honestly? It's nice to find someone else that's passionate about Equinox, so we're probably in the same boat.

A quick pass for Equinox would be awesome, if anything just to help her out in terms of QoL. I've said before she's in a good spot in terms of what she can accomplish compared to other Warframes, she is the Jack of all Trades, but the problem is accomplishing it. She has so, so much potential and a lot of players don't realize that because of her kit constraints and it makes me so very sad. All I see are Day Equinox anymore, but can you blame them with how she currently plays? Who is going to sacrifice damage over support with the way that Pacify & Provoke and Mend & Maim currently work? I mean I do, I try to get the best out of all of her abilities and I've managed to make it work pretty well so far, but it took me a long time to get to this point and to adjust to her clunky kit. She's easy to play (if you only care about damage) but hard to master, fluidity is a huge reason why.

    VMPUWkG.png

From the new Ability Screen UI update, just thought I'd share. Laughable if you ask me, unless you're running Duality. 🤦‍♀️

DE if you're listening, we shouldn't have to sacrifice our other abilities for the sake of one when we have a pool of seven to choose from. Please help best girl whenever the other frames get their reworks. I'm not gonna put her on a higher pedestal than other frames that need help, but a little love and QoL for us Equinox mains would be super appreciated.
