  1. On the latest Devstream we received more details on Kuva Liches. The part that really stuck out to me was converting a Kuva Lich to help you. Judging by how Steve said they "help you when you need it the most" I assume that only means when you go downed there is a chance your Lich comes to revive you like how the Nightwave boys did before they turned evil. I then turned my thoughts to ways to make the system more involved and cooler.

    Kuva Lich PvP

Once you track down and convert your Kuva Lich you gain the ability to invade other players Stalker Style. To initiate an invasion you need to infuse your Lich with a custom amount of your own Kuva, which you lose if your Lich is defeated. If you are successful at killing either one or all players though, you gain a multiplier of the kuva that you infused your Lich with depending on how many of the players you defeat. To be able to invade players you need a converted Lich of course, but having a converted Lich would open you up to these invasions. This allows to players to "opt out" of the system by instead killing liches to farm their weapons. The maximum amount of Kuva you can infuse your Lich with is based on your mastery level. If your Lich dies before killing anyone, the players you invaded get the kuva in you infused your Lich with divided between them, thus a solo defender has a better reason to stay and fight instead of running.

As mentioned on the devstream your Lich will have abilities based on the frame you killed it with, allowing you to customize the playstyle of your Lich. Your Lich would not be as mobile as your Warframe of course, but you would have some amount of power regardless. This would give players a repeatable task to do, with risk. Should the kuva gain be better than siphon missions or kuva survival? That is up to the balance team, but pretend that the kuva gain for successful invasions is a perfect number. I want to encourage players to take a risk, but still leave Kuva Survivals as a lower-risk yet viable option for gaining kuva.

Many players desire an invasion mechanic, and will often look at the Acolytes. I believe that Kuva Liches are a more customizable and involved way to tackle this system. The Stalker Acolytes are cool, and COULD be expanded on, but I feel that Liches are the right way to go for an invasion mechanic.

  2. When I went to swap the polarities around on my moa I was hit with the following error message:

"Reconfiguration could not be completed. Your account has not been charged. Please try again later."

I closed and re-opened my game. Un-then-re-equipped the Moa. It is gilded already. None of those fixed the issue for me.

  3. From the latest devstream Garuda's abilities were displayed.  I am not a fan of her 4 and have a suggestion of my own. I believe this synegizes well with her kit and will function much better than her current "press 4 and done" bladestorm.

"Sanguine Singularity" - Pulls targets within 25-30 meters onto yourself (Nidus#2 style) and impale them on Garuda's elbow-razors like a porcupine.  Deals medium damage and life-steals half of damage dealt, to synergize with her current 3. Single cast, no duration, no channeling.

    Synergies:

-Garuda could easily use her 3 to get energy, and combo it into Sanguine Singularity to pull enemies into melee range and heal herself.

-This also functions well with her #1 by pulling targets into melee range so she can gore them at her pleasure.

-Garuda's healing spike is also synergized well (I forgot the name of that skill.) By pulling enemies to herself, Garuda could stay within her healing zone.

  4. Revenant Review:

I Credit-Card farmed Rev the moment he came out and have been playing him non-stop so far.  TL:DR=He is fun and powerful, but the best way to play him people get wrong.

Passive: A good passive that synergizes well. The moment his Mesmer Skin runs out he dies fast, so having this just in case is great.  Range is too low to usually be useful most of the time.

Enthrall: At first glance, I saw this as Nyx 2.0, but AI remains terrible at killing other AI. At that point, I brought my focus to the damaging pillars and it was at that point I really saw the light.  If you build for Duration and Range this ability is lots of fun. Pillars could use a bit of a range buff honestly, it wasn't till 250% range that I even hit enemies.

Mesmer Skin: Revenant's best ability is a better version of Amesha's 1, which is a great thing.  When working correctly I love this skill, but my charge counter often bugs so I have no idea what I have left at most times.

#3: I list this as #3 because I can't be bothered to remember the name, it is that bad. I use this to move when spamming 4 mainly.  This also heals you slightly, but if you keep Mesmer Skin up then this is not needed.  My suggestion is to replace this skill with a skill that consumes your active thralls for a bit of health or even exploding them.

Danse Danse Revolution: A great ability. Range is small but that is OK with how powerful it is. The main issue is hitting targets above or below you, not being able to jump makes this problem more obvious.

Fashion: Thematically Revenant is great. I love his look, and I love the theme. The following is my Angelic Revenant, dispensing rays of judgment.

    Bugs/Issues:

Enthral can hit bosses, INCLUDING Stalker.

Mesmer Skin counter does not display number after being hit sometimes.

#3, though slightly useful, could use a bit of love.

Danse Macabre not being able to aim up or down really hurts on maps that have any bit of terrain, which is every map in the game.

  5. If your allies have bad lift etiquette, return the favor by spamming your panel to bring the lift back. If you are fast enough they won't be able to get out of the lift and have to ride back up in shame.

We are going to change just that - no self-damage through Link. We are going to apply this rule to Trinity, Nidus, and Nekros for consistency. Trinity is a fantastic support Warframe and being top-tier DPS in addition to that role does not suit her. Expect this change this week on PC!

    Got 'em

  7. I don't think Nyx is weak, but she would feel more useful if her augments were baseline.  She is one of those characters that needs augments to be good, minus maybe her 4 but that is taste.  Her other abilities without augments are really just weak.  This would free up mod slots and help her with variety.

  8. Should we as players trust her: No.

Do our ingame tenno trust her: Yes. To our Tenno she is their mom.  This doesn't mean the Lotus couldn't betray our Tenno but she has been proven to have used us many times.

The more interesting question is where the story would go if the Lotus turned on us fully?

Problem is that the entire lore of Cetus revolves around the Unum (the giant tower) basically having the space-magic ability to turn off or otherwise mess with seemingly anything with at least two moving parts and selectively let some things work. That is why the Ostrons in Cetus basically only use melee weapons and the Grineer haven't absolutely dropkicked them. As soon as Grineer forces try to breach the forcefields around the city, their tech goes on the fritz. Vehicles stop dead, guns stop working and I also assume their implants and prosthetic also are affected. So a high-tech laser sword doesn't really match their theme. Though the concept of basically being Eidolon powered is interesting.

The Unum's effect is abysmally described however. I mean, does it have control over ALL kinds of mechanical and electric systems and devices or are there things it can't touch? I can believe and easily accept the Unum basically being a supercharged Nullifier with an added Disruptor effect. So anything that needs wires, batteries and some kind of a switch-board to operate goes on the fritz. But how exactly does it affect mechanical devices if at all? The power to shut down basically EVERYTHING is stupidly powerful when you actually think about it.

I didn't mean it had to be a high-tech laser sword.  My initial idea was more-so a sword-length Eidelon beam controlled on your Zaw.  I believe there is room for high-tech laser swords but high-tech and Zaw don't go well together.

  10. I love Khora. There are several things that make her good that I feel people overlook.

1-She is female. No effect on gameplay but I have friends (some female) that won't play a character at all unless they are female.  Even if she has a similar kit to some male characters this still has an effect on some people.

2-She is very well balanced with her kit. Slightly tanky, healing, CC, a pet, she has a lot going for her there.

3-My biggest point: her heal is a hard-carry for a weaker member of your team.  You tag an ally with her heal and they are alive for the rest of the mission even if they usually get themselves killed a lot.  Tag an ally that is having trouble then keep playing like normal.

  11. Zaw head that is Eidelon Eye (small on the tip of your hilt part)

You wield the weapon and from the eye comes a sword-length beam to cut down enemies.

Makes the Zaw into a swords or staff depending on hilt.  No impact damage but half Puncture+Slash, OR heat/radiation if devs feel really brave. plz plz? 😃

If Vortex isn't too grand as an "ultimate" in its current form, why not just buff it?
More base range (lol Larva) and duration should do the trick.

Shred and Concuss should get a bigger AoE on both the blast and detection radius,
give it a 1/2 second or so delay to allow more enemies to enter the blast radius,
    make the Armor shredding permanent.

I honestly thought long and hard about Vortex. In its current form it is weaker than Bastille and costs more energy.  If all we do is buff the range of Vortex then Vauban just ends up with 2 good abilities: Bastille and Bastille that moves enemies together.

About Shred and Concuss I'd honestly rather they remove them. DE could quadruple damage and AoE and personally, I still wouldn't use them.  Your idea would help, but when you look at the energy cost value you get very little.
