I don't really care what other players think about my opinion either, DE made a topic in which they ask for feedback on Nightwave and I had given mine.

  2. With fugitives giving 100 instead of 50 standing I'm perfectly happy with this system and I hope DE will keep it.

i just hope that elite alerts will not become tasks such as pick 4 flowers. These are not necessary to reach the goal and if somebody finds some of them too hard to tedious he is able to simply skip them and still reach the rank 30 with Nightwave.

In the beginning this was actually a serious idea; but DE decided against it for one big reason: Little to no ROI.

Nyx was originally supposed to be a female excalibur (you can see this by just comparing base models against each other) but became its own frame because DE realized "Hey, we're doing like 90% of the work to make a new frame...why don't we just make it a new frame?" and thus Nyx was born as its own frame.

    Ask yourself this honest question:
What ROI would there be in making 90% of a new frame...and then releasing it as a alt-gender version of an already existing frame?  How much of the player base would farm/buy it?
Especially when you get to skins, as now you've just doubled the workload to create Deluxe Skins...that only a very small portion of the userbase would buy.  You're looking at double the time and effort for no where near double the sales.

Most players would just rather DE release a new frame with new abilities instead of a male Ember or female Frost.
The closest we'll get is two frame centered around a similar idea, like Loki/Ivara, but we won't be seeing just straight up gender-swaps.

I think it would be cool to release 1-2 alt-gender deluxe skins to see how much of the userbase would actually buy them.

And creating deluxe skins doesn't really take away resources from other areas, as long as they sell... infact selling cosmetics is what pays for the development of the game.

    Someone said Hysteria damage sucks.

I showed a pic for over 1 million damage that's being mitigated by 99.14% Armor and I've improved the build since that pic.

Yeah you have to wear that armor down a bit with corrosive procs to get rid of some of that armor mitigation to make more of that damage matter. And... it's not like you did anything wrong, it's not like I'm trying to flex here because... something something.

You built your Valky for Histeria, which makes her squishy outside of it, so you could have powerful claws which actually kill high level enemies and they do so.

+90 crit on spin from meme strike, + another +90 crit on spin from the riven +Blood Rush = +1000% crit chance at 2.5x. Also riven has + status and +slash so... about 70% chance for a slash proc. It outdamages Valky even for a single target, with it you can happily jump into a group of enemies and "happily hopily I spin2win my choppily!" it isn't limited to 2.5x so... I guess you get microwave crits at some point. And while you had to min-max Valky this is a sword which doesn't even require gladiator mods and you can put it into anyone hands... Inaros, Nidus, Valky with 100% survivability mods. Also at lvl1-100 missions with Valky in Histeria I often run around like a moron trying to find something to kill while somebody with a spin2win whip and micro clears everything.

Valky is fine, it's this bunch of broken things that are not fine.

EDIT: Fine damage wise, she does need some tweaks, for one all, literally all of her augments should be her default abilities.

    Works fine for me...

The best melee weapon I have is a rivened Gram Prime which at 2.5x combo counter deals 360k true damage in the form of slash procs (and I'm completely ignoring the raw damage which will largely be ignored by armor here). It's stronger against single target and on top of that it can hit multiple targets.

Until melee rework does something about meme strike kitty's claws are really nothing special except for the selfheal thing.

Players will gravitate to whatever is easiest because Warframe is a very grindy game. They don't want to deal with getting their (insert mastery fodder weapon here) to rank 30, so they just holster it, go to Hydron, and press 4 for 10 or 15 waves. Fairly understandable. I would be lying if I said I hadn't done the same thing myself.

Actually this is a very inefficient way of leveling a weapon. Killing enemies with abilities gives 100% of the affinity to the frame, and if you kill 90% of the enemies using nuke abilities...

When leveling a weapon equip just that one weapon, mod it the best you can, pick a relevant frame (I usually use buff Rhino) go to Hydron and shoot stuff. Your gun gets 50% affinity for everything you kill with your gun and 75% affinity from stuff other people kill.

Don't even use the mindset of "I need to level this weapon to 30" use mindset "I'm going to pew-pew some baddies and I'm gana have some fun".

  7. The frustration is understandable.

The weapons are kinda balanced at higher levels but most of the game content is happening at levels 1-45. Since enemies at such levels are absolute paper against fully modded AoE weapons they reign supreme. Rubico can one shot a lvl45 Bombard, Amprex can fry entire room full of lvl45 Bombards before player with Rubico even aims at another Bombard.

As a result in most of the game content there is simply not enough enemies for all players to shoot at. There is usually one player which nukes everything with spin2win whip or some AoE weapon and rest of the players play the walk from the start (to objective) to extraction and search for enemies that nuker eventually missed. And even if the number of enemies was increased tenfold with one nuker frame the result is the same.

And this is not the case of "you should just play... this multiplayer game solo" this is a case of really bad game design which should be addressed. All 4 players should have things to shoot at otherwise this is a really crappy experience for 3/4 players.

I'm already annoyed by killing like 3 Eidolons per night and then having to wait 1,5 hours (yes, i dont want to join a premade 1337 group..)

Don't be. After you grind everything there is there is really nothing left to play for. If you could hunt those eidolons whenever you want you would reach that point sooner.

I recommend you to read this detailed Focus Rework by @Synpai it has means to regenerate Energy for EACH School and other beautiful ideas that would result in a much better Operator Gameplay experience.

I did read it, spend some time analyzing it in detail, yeah I really like the suggested changes.

  10. I already have OP builds which make 99% of the game content easy as breeze, I really don't need more power.

I assume that most players won't even bother with these mods, but I am going to drop some of the mods from my frame and weapon (which I realistically don't even need for starchart content) and try out these parkour style mods, maybe I can make some build which is actually fun to use.

I think adding another arcane or another method to generate energy is not the right way to fix the problem. There are already many ways to get energy back and adding another way to get energy would just make the game easier.

When speaking of the Focus schools, i can tell you one thing : In the current state of the focus system you need to choose which focus schools suits you the best depending on the situation you will put yourself into e.g do i want energy regen all days (Zenurik) or do i want more damage (Madurai) or do i need to heal myself or friendly targets often during the next mission? You can't have it all.

Now i know that Zenurik is the most used Focus school by far because Energizing Dash makes energy less of a problem to get but again e.g adding other ways to generate energy in other schools than Zenurik in the current state of the focus system is not the right idea.

Not having enough energy can be annoying sometimes and i can understand that if you don't have a easy access to it then the game becomes another trivial shooter game for you. Maybe you are too dependent of Warframes powers and you can't play the game without them but i can be wrong.

I can have (almost) all, I could use Mandurai + 2 healing arcanes + energy pads.... yay I broke the game for 265th time -.-

The game is already piss easy, and broken in so many ways and deserves a rather large balance and change of some core mechanics. And this is not me whining about not having enough energy or game being too hard, heck sorties are easier then tutorial is for new players and when I want a challenging gameplay I take a really badly modded frame with really badly modded weapon and play lvl40-45 exterminates, spy missions (much better then high level endless since in those game just throws hordes of enemies at you while this way you actually get to sneak around like it's an actual space ninja game).

This is not about braking an already broken game, it's about making multiple choices viable, currently Zenurik + 2 healing arcanes is the way to go for majority of the game content. Since there are healing arcanes there is little use for Vazarin since you lose the energy gain and only get revives and healing of the objective (can't remember the last time I lost due to the objective being destroyed) mandurai gives +25% damage for weapons which are already OP as #*!%... little difference if enemy dies in 1 sec or 0.75 sec,

If there was an arcane which... well let's say it works just like Zenurik but gives 25% energy gain.

Sure I could use Zenurik + two said arcanes for even more energy, but at the cost of completely losing healing. But I would be able to use Vazarin and have 50% Zenurik. Or I could use Mandurai with 25% energy and one healing arcane.

Now this works more like frame modding, in which I don't have to pick health, or shields, or ability stranght, or range... I get to create multiple viable combinations.

I think the most appropriate solution here to make all focus schools more interesting is to merge all focus school trees into a single big tree where each part of the tree represent a focus school and you can allocate a limited amount of points into the tree for abilities you want to activate. You start at the middle of the tree and unlock nodes with focus points of the respective school and convert some of the existing arcanes for the operator into nodes in areas of the tree that suits for them the most e.g Magus Cadence in the Naramon area Magus Repair in the Vazarin area Magus Firewall in the Unairu area etc so focus schools keep their identity and by the same occasion making all the schools easier to balance in addition of these new abilities in the tree.

The only bad effect that would possibly create by making a single tree would be like opening the Path of Exile skill tree for the first time and players who can't handle the amount of information they have to deal with at this exact moment would just quit the game because compared to the PoE skill tree where you can open it after a few minutes of gameplay, the focus tree would be hidden after hours of playing Warframe. What do you all think about this ?

My idea is more like a quick fix to introduce more variety into the whole focus thing.

If the rework of all focus schools into one big tree is on the table then I'm all for it. Yes one big tree looks more complicated then what we have now, but just take a second and think how many complications we already have with the whole focus thing, 15 different lenses for 5 different schools of 3 different "strenght"...

Replace that with just three lenses of different "strenght" which give points to one tree (instead of 5 different trees) and you just managed to make the whole system way less complicated even if it does have a bigger tree.

  12. It's badly balanced at lower levels. Like I didn't fail a single high tier bounty, however when I played some low level bounties (for lith relics) I actually failed two.

A lot of players are like "JuSt GiT gUt" but at low levels defense targets are waaaay squishier then in high levels, time limits are too short especially for players which might not have AW's and if you take into consideration that these players do not have gear "veterans" have they are possibly playing better then a veteran who sits with mesa and nukes everything with his 4.

So this whole flexing thing... it's actually harder to play tutorial then it is to play sortie with Umbral builds, adaptations, rivens...

My idea is to have bounty-like missions with modifiers but all tile sets are completely random and no changing of gear in between phases. Modifiers are just like sortie's (https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Sortie) and each phase will have a new modifier replace the previous one (if this is not enough challenge stacking modifiers are another option).

I saw something similar for elite alerts in the devstream, but then "elite alerts" became arbitrations and... yeah...

I like the idea, especially because one must make a flexible build because of the possible modifiers, but it would probably end up just like Arbitrations where players just take the tankiest frame (Inaros).

I think you are exaggerating how bad shields are. With Revenant i can go beyond 2000 shields and with Adaption and arcane aegis this easily keeps me alive for 30min on Mot. Without spamming his invulnerable ability.

Facetanking like Inaros s out of the question, but getting oneshot is no problem either.

Edit: With Shieldgate arcane Aegis is a crazy strong option. It replenishes (60+(5% of max Shields))*(1+Mods) Shield/Second and if Shieldgate prevents damage from leaking to health as long as 1 shield is left this will make Hildryn really Tanky even without Adaption.

With shield gating Adaptation can start working before frame get's one-shoted, a ton of shields + Adaptation + Arcane Aegis + Arcane Barrier would put even Inaros to shame.

There is really no reason to criticize Hildryn before trying her out first.

  15. Make a smaller cataclysm pop out from it to pop bubbles with high ROF weapon. Avoid raising alert state in bounties and nullifier bubbles won't even spawn.

As for the enemies damaging Limbo while in the rift I do consider that to be a bug rather then feature but that's just my opinion, enemies in Fortuna have all kinds of really weird behaviors which look bugged to me (operator getting bounced by bouncy mines while in the void, Nidus Larva grabs hyenas but doesn't pull them which kinda brakes the ability use... etc).

They are for the first time. DE tests them. Maybe they will return.

    For your idea:
Even if the rewards are cycled, why would these wars be interesting after a while?
Sooner or later we will have all the rewards. Then these wars would be another Ghouls-Event.

Well, there is a whole bunch of weapons without Wraith, Vandal variants, also not a single weapon from infested laboratory has special variant. And said weapons really do not require a lot of work, they are basically reskinned variants with some stat changes.

So let's say that each weapon has BP and 3 parts (so 4 parts in total) and each week we can get a new part (as well as parts from previous events so players are not pressured into participating every single week) and it's not something grindy.

13 weapons would provide enough material for whole year worth of weekly rewards, and although it's not a lot of new content, having a new pew-pew to build and forma and stuff every week, yeah I'd take tha. You know I'd had something to look forward to 🙂

If you want this just unequip every mod you have and go Mot on void, nerfing a player to the ground wont make things fun at all, I think DE has a big way to go till they get to true Endgame status, many things in the game need a rework, Bosses, Raids, Operators, Dark Sectors, etc..., DE needs to first fix what they already have before adding more stuff.

Playing non-endless missions (exterminate/spy) with no mods or weakly modded frame/weapon is actually fun. Enemies are stronger... way stronger, but at the same time game doesn't press the player by making him kill as much enemies in the unit of time or throwing hordes of enemies at the player. You can approach the situation with stealth and tactical gameplay and it kinda feels like... space ninja game 🙂

Anyway I agree, game really needs a serious rework and then to build atop of said rework. If they simply rush some "endgame content" on top of really bad scaling it will end up as lot of effort for really poo content.
