    Asking too nerf bramma its tragic! If DE nerfe bramma DE will see a huge drop in warframe audience numbers in steam page....kuva bramma is the good because all other weapons(like 90%) sux...thats rhe "problem" of bramma....good looking, and good damage and fun. Do you have fun with quanta? tetra?

     

    The game is so shallow and poor with designs and when we have a great weapon you guys ask to "nerf"? 🤢

    You're contradicting yourself, now you're admitting it IS about the damage.

    And I'd disagree about both the lens and the opticor vandal, both weapons are imo very good.   But of course pale into insignificance when compared to the bramma, which is the actual problem.  

    If we're entering a period in the game when weapons now have to be able to carpet bomb the map in order to be considered good, we're in trouble.

    Of course it's about the damage.  Come on.  It doesn't matter how fun it is, if it didnt kill the map, players would call it trash and you'd never see it.

    If it's because of "fun" how come bows are probably the least used weapon type?  And I'm assuming that by "fun" you mean unquestionably the laziest and easiest to use weapon that guarantees virtually everything in a 10-20m radius will be dead with no need for any kind of skill whatsoever (and it's not like wf needed that much skill to start with), while at the same time blinding any teammates who have bothered to try and keep up.

    I've nothing against helping players.  I do it all the time, virtually every day in fact.  New clan member struggling with a boss, no problem, I'll help.  I'll explain any mechanics, weaknesses etc.  I'll then go along on the mission and help, give them a nudge in the right direction, revive them if needed.  What I'm not going to do is go and do the mission for them while they stand at the back incapable of doing anything.  When the new player then beats the mission, they have a sense of achievement and learned something.

    With lich's you have low mr players going in to these missions with no hope of being able to do anything and getting completely carried through the whole experience.   That's not good, in my humble opinion.   It is a problem with design of the game.

    I know this.

    One of the problems is mr5-10 players who have no hope of killing a lvl 5 lich getting carried through the missions.   This is a problem with game design and needs to be addressed.  Doing a lich is about more than being able to do a lvl 20 grineer capture.

  6. The bramma is just EVERYWHERE.

    Those players saying they dont see it, I dont know what content you're playing.

    I've been leveling a lot in hydron over the last month on my final push to mr28.  Virtually every mission had at least 1, and all they do is stand in a corner and spam rockets as fast as they can in every direction.

    I go to open relics, choose a nice def mission, guess what, at least one in virtually every mission.

    Same for exterminates, survival, mob def, sabotage, everything.  And enemy level doesn't matter.  Lith defence?  Yep, there's 2 mr8's with bramma's.  Axi survival?  Yep, there's 2 mr20's with bramma's.

    I find myself more and more just kinda standing about, maybe getting the odd enemy that miraculously slips through the barrage, and just picking up loot.  What's the point in trying to kill anything when by the time you've even aimed or got in to melee range, several rockets have flown over your head annihilating everything within about 20m.  And blinding me in the process.

    Pretty much the only counter to this is to bring a nuke frame.

    As for the good ol' white knights saying play solo or in premade groups - for everything ????  For every mission I want to run you think the answer is to sit in recruit chat trying to get a team?   As for playing solo, I already do probably half the time, but I also enjoy playing in a squad.   The key word being "playing", not standing about watching the map burn.  And I'm fully aware that in pub groups anything goes, but the sheer overwhelming dominance of this weapon is undermining a key aspect of the game, group play.  Even if a groups is really just 4 players sharing a mission while playing effectively solo.

    Actually lock it to mr15.  Change lich's so you have to kill your own lich yourself (other players can help with the mission, murmers etc, but you have to kill the lich).  Increase draw time to about 4 seconds, it's a fricking rocket launcher after all, it shouldn't draw as fast as the dread.  Double the blast area but half the aoe damage so players get staggered more, but triple the damage when you actually hit your target so players are encouraged to aim.

    If primaries need buffed, and I agree they do, the answer isnt to have one weapon that makes them even more worthless.  And it's not possible, or a good idea, to bring all primaries up to bramma levels of damage.   So nerf it, change it, do something, so it isnt so blooming omnipresent.

    We weren't sure what would happen.  Luckily, everything except hema was done, bar a few pigments we hadn't started yet.   We had a ton of mutagen already invested in hema though so we ended up having a huge push over the space of about two weeks to finish it off before downsizing as we didnt want to risk losing everything invested so far.

  8. Yh, I mean, it's pretty easy to get from nw, but I dont see how this would harm anything.

    Would allow newer players to use their nw creds on mods and weapons and encourage more use of syndicates.   Even at the reduced standing caps newer players are stuck with due to their mr, it should still allow them to get 1 every day or two, about on par with the old alert system.

    So, yes.

  10. People looking for a clan do not give two hoots about pigment colours.  They care about weapon research, dry dock and lich trading post.

    And as a warlord in a mountain clan that had to downsize from a moon clan because of the unjustifiably ridiculous resource requirements for dojo decorating (never mind hema), have you tried to get players to donate?  It's like asking them for their youngest child.  Players want to hoarde huge stockpiles and it always falls to a small handful of dedicated players to fund everything.

  11. It's worth remembering,  when the nw system was introduced seasons were meant to last 12 weeks or so.

    We're only on the third actual season and already it seems we're now expecting them to last about 20 weeks or longer.   This hasn't been communicated by de of course, it's just what we as players have surmised.

    I know all about the current global situation and the problems de have faced with fixing prior botched updates since Christmas.  I also have a lot of love and respect for de as both a company and as individuals. 

    However, nw is supposed to be constant, engaging, rewarding content.   It's supposed to have an end point which creates a desire to actually do the tasks to get the rewards, not create a feeling of general malaise where no one cares about it because it's going to last for several months.   Don't get me wrong, I dont mind nw and happily work through the tasks each week.   It is not working as it is supposed to though.

    De seem incapable of ever keeping to a planned timetable, outside of releasing PA of course.   Given that, having a timetabled system like nw in place is always going to cause frustration with players.   Either it needs reworked to be more proceduarally generated, which would hopefully free up resources to work on proper content releases such as deadlock, rj etc.   Or it needs to be given the proper focus it deserves so seasons dont last half a year.   You get the feeling they didn't even start work on chapter 2 until chapter 1 was released, which is just plain bad planning for a long promised and timetabled event.   That feeling may be wrong, but it's the impression I certainly get, and I know I'm not alone in that.

  12. It's main problem, imo, is it makes every other weapon redundant. 

    I see loads of mr6-9 players running about with this.  They think it's great as they can now kill stuff and keep up with the big boys if you like.  But why use anything else?  Everything else is now "trash" cos it can't wipe maps.

    It takes away player progression and discovery if literally every other weapon is now mr fodder.

    And it's the play style too.  Just spam rockets in all directions as fast as you can.  No need to aim, or even check if there's enemies in the direction they're firing.

    Warframe has a pretty low skill ceiling anyway, but by god, this weapon removes even that.

    Give it a 3 second draw time and 2 second reload to counter the bramma spamma mentality.

    Increase aoe but half the aoe damage.  Then give it 3x more damage on direct hits.  Will cause more staggers and encourage aiming.

    Nerfing riv dispo will definitely happen but isn't enough.  Firstly, because it doesn't need a riven and, secondly, because few players have a bramma riv anyway.

  13. I remember the day nova's new skin came out.

    There was a virtual stampede in my clan's alliance of people rushing to buy it.   There was tangible excitement.   People had been saving up for it.

    I cant remember that happening for any other skin.  Certainly not the new ash skin, or ivara, or equinox.

    The first act took about 10 minutes, it's hardly a distraction.

    Also deadlock might release next week, and if it does that will almost certainly be on PC only with all the consoles 2-4 weeks later.   Night wave is one of the few things that gets updated on all platforms at the same time.

    The whole waiting thing with pets is just weird, what purpose did it ever serve other than to frustrate players.

    Better  colours.   The ones we have are awful.

    3 sec invulnerability after being revived.
