As much as I would love for a kick function to keep AFK players off my game, it will certainly, surely, unequivocally, definitely, unquestionably, positively, undoubtedly, undeniably, absolutely be abused to hell and back.

Ok, but are you really sure?

  2. There's a cple of problems with the bramma imo.

First, similar to the catchmoon in its heyday, it invalidates virtually every other weapon in the game.

Second, you can get it at such a low mr it can actually stunt your development, cos why use anything else, right?

Third, it's obnoxious af for other people in the squad.

And fourth, there is absolutely no skill or effort involved to wipe maps with it.  The "bramma spamma" can now be found in almost every mission just launching rockets in all directions without even aiming, often without checking to see if there's even enemies in the direction they're firing.

I think a nerf is inevitable.   And fully justified too.

Dude, your talking about a rock.   There are many rocks in this game.

I don't believe it takes several weeks of artistic contemplation to decide on what the rock looks like, sorry but that's silly.

time it would actually have taken to make that breaking rock (several weeks if we count the overall artistic concept art)

I really hope to god de have people working for them who are capable of creating a breaking rock in less than several weeks.

Try using the "Artillery Cheap Shot" Avionic. It has a 50% chance to not consume a come charge when using the Artillery. It's very useful! Sometimes one of my friends will use it a few times and still be fully charged 🙂

Yeah, I do all the veil missions solo and using this mod means I never have to worry about running out of charges.

Even on ruse Warfield, if you aim for the crewships engines they're all still one shot kills so 5 charges is plenty.

On topic though, I'm sitting on 9 9 9 10 and have to say all the last three skill trees final tier seem a bit meh.

I'd echo what a cple of others have said, being able to use forward artillery from the pilot seat would be awesome.

For piloting, I'd much rather have double the boost recharge rate.

And for tactical, just reduce the cooldowns further so I can use them more.

  6. This happens when players get carried away and just slaughter everything as fast as they can without letting the enemies have time to become corrupted.   I see this happen now and then in low level defence missions, especially now everyone and there grandma has a bramma and mindlessly sprays rockets in every direction.

I'm not saying it's good design, but it's something that's pretty obvious.  Allow the enemies to become corrupted or you dont get reactant.   As you were equinox and had your maim running, you were probably killing everything before you even saw them.

  7. So you've maxed out Fortuna, vox Solaris and quills I take it?  Doing profit taker and tri caps are easy for you?  How's your railjack, all 10 intrinsic?

Something I do is not take my most powerful gear to every mission.  Going to do some low level missions to open relics?  My kronens and bramma can stay home.  I'm not gonna take nuke frames either.   I've got a cple of hundred weapons to choose from and 40 odd frames with wildly different set ups and playstyles.  I don't stick to one loadout for everything.

The game gets easier as you get more powerful, of course it does.

So... just seriously incapacitate their ability to make money off the sale of boosters, and greatly diminish their platinum value. You do realize, they have to make a profit, or they can't develop or keep the game open, right? This is looking the gift horse directly in the mouth.

I meant you'd still only get them rarely, calm down.

ie, most days you get nothing but occasionally you still get a booster/discount.  You therefore get a little buzz cos they're nice things to get for free.

  9. I really don't care about log in rewards tbh.

The boosters are nice and the occasional discount voucher is always welcome (although there's very little stuff you can actually use it on on console).

Maybe they should instead remove all the rewards except the boosters, discounts and milestones.  That way when one appears you get a little buzz.

And skipping? Oh I did that with intermission 2 and only reached rank 17 or something, so please, go ahead and miss me with "you can skip all you want and still reach max rank"

Intermission 2 was out for SIX MONTHS.

If you only reached rank 17 you've no one to blame except yourself.   It's not going to reward you for not playing.

I'm one of those people that just wants to jump into a level 100+ mission, without having to wait around for the enemies level to increase. Plus it's nice to be able to enter any level 100+ mission and it not always having to be an endurance mission. Sometimes I just wanna do a quick mission, but have it be a high level mission at the same time. So I'm glad this is finally something being introduced.

    I feel the same, Sam.

I just want to go into a lvl 100 mission whenever I want, be that an exterminate, mobile def, sabotage etc as well as start endless missions at that level.   I want to see how my frames and weapons perform in actual missions with proper enemies, not in a controlled environment like the simulacrum.

The reward structure and mission modifiers can come later.   Expecting a fully fledged, ultimately rewarding, fleshed out system from the get go is naive and unrealistic.

  12. For as long as I can remember, players have been saying "Just give me the ability to start a mission at level 100 so I don't have to sit an hour in endless first.  That's all I want...."

DE, finally, are going to introduce it.  A two tier hard mode.  Fantastic you'd think, players are getting what they ask for.

Now what do we see in this thread?  Everyone (with a few exceptions) saying if they're not suitably rewarded it's a pointless waste of time and no one will play it.

Let's be real here, any new reward system is gonna take some time to iron out the kinks so it isn't unbalanced.  I know rewards are important.   Many players feel like they should get an infinite flow of rewards though and that isn't sustainable, and certainly isn't realistic at the start.   I'll be happy playing this new mode just for the challenge though even if the rewards etc don't change at all.   After all, that's what players have been asking for for ages.  A challenge.

I can see this new mode, as great as I personally think it is, getting shat on by a very vocal part of the community because they can't play the game without being given a new toy every mission.

  13. Have a point system similar to arbi's.  For each mission you get credits, but not too many.  This gives the harder mode re-playability as you'll want to grind those credits.

You then have a store somewhere at which you exchange the credits for an item of your choice.  That way you can have cosmetics which are one and done, but you can also have evergreen rewards like forma, kuva, endo, traces, universal medallions, amber stars, riven silvers etc.

  14. In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with this mission.

It adds a bit of variety having to move between waves.  I run this whenever it comes up as a neo relic mission and I've yet to see it cause confusion.  I don't think I've ever failed it, even when I was soloing it on my first run through the star chart.   Players know it's going to move and tbh it can get a bit competitive to see who gets to the next point first.

But sure, it's not just stand on one point for 20 waves.  You do actually have to move.

I personally had a gram riven at 255 rolls before i sold it. I'm no stranger to the farm. Even with +cc +cd -finisher i didn't ask for 30k. I took 800. Not because i'm stupid, i took 800 because i felt it was fair. I'm fully aware i could have gotten more. It's a matter of principle for me personally.

Of course you shouldn't have asked for 30k, are you crazy?  That's not even a great roll.  Good yes, great no.  I think you done well to get 800.

So you thought the price was fair?  Jolly good.  You are aware that there would have been players looking at that riv thinking you were being greedy.

The odds of getting a riven for the right weapon and then getting the perfect stats to make it worth the kind of plat you're talking about is incredibly, incredibly small.  Hence the price.

And the people buying them are doing so cos that's their thing.  They collect god tier rivens.  It's a tiny number of players who do this and it's up to them how they spend their plat.

And for the record, I'm no riven dealer.  The most I've spent on a riv is 700.  A gram (with better stats than yours), a heavy attack redeemer riv, and an approaching god tier one for ninkondi.  All bought with plat I've earned in game from selling mods and sets.

And the example given a cple of pages back with buying a car was a good one.  You could buy a £1 million Lamborghini or you could buy a £10k Ford.  Both get you from a to b.  But the lambo is rare, specialised and ultra high performance, hence the price.  The Ford would likely do a good job for you though and be sufficient for your needs.  If you've got the means, you may want to buy the lambo though and that's up to the buyer.
