  1. Hell yea, quick story time it is!: There are 2 versions of Conclave which more or less are bound to the movement system overhaul. OG Conclave used to be pretty much a spiritual predecessor to Titanfall in terms of movement if you consider wallrun interactions, slides etc.. Titanfall one of the biggest modern movement shooters that despite all its issues still has a loving and caring community that kept it alive until today. There even was a pvx mode through rail wars, which sadly had its own issues and got removed without the chance of being reworked and integraded as a fleshed out system. Our current version got introduced right after the first steps towards the current movement system were uploaded. It got its own syndicate, map overhauls and a rebalanced weapon and Warframe pool (through multipliers on top of the pve stats). You could say it compares more to something like GunZ if you consider the movement. Both versions were fairly actively played and the later version had a decent balance system in place that didn't need honor rules like the previous one which used pve loadouts. Sadly around the poe update the work on it and its roadmap got neglected due to the one dev that majorily worked on it alone being drawn to other projects. Thus more and more bugs creeped in through time which were caused by pve reworks that never or far to late got fixed. We're talking about more than half a decade here. In the end the dedicated playerbase dwindled over time to what it is now while the toxicity and loudness of many collectors etc. increased due to skins that are meant to show your dedication towards the pvp mode and other things like the medallion incident where some random pve guy from twitter who grinded through Conclave was made a scape goat of as the face of the Conclave community, because he didn't like his time and effort spent being redundant and ridiculed by easy pve grind. So why do I like Conclave? It fits in nicely between other movement shooters with its own and unique movement system while being tied to the pve game I played for over a decade. Most pvp movement shooters you find out there only have the same copy paste bunny hop mechanic which gets stale quite fast and I missed the time when GunZ was big. Am still griefing over games like Lawbreakers, but Conclave was always there and a blast to play. It has a high skill ceiling, however with the freedom it gives you one can even recognize players by playstyle alone and I've witnessed players going from being new to the game to playing up there at the same level with the vets in under a month. And even if you are a vet at the mode you can still learn and pick up new things due to the variety it offers. Even after a decade it still brings me back to play Warframe. edit: Oh yea btw the current variant mode/event is kinda meh and could use some tweaks... I assume you mean it when talking about "Throwing and seeing five shots connect and none counting" It seems like the hitbox of these snowballs isn't as big as the model and even if it was since the latest projectile update some years ago the visual fx is detached form the projectile hitbox which can cause weird looking stuff. :/ Not a fan of it either tbh.. The event didn't feel as sluggish as it does now when it appeared first, but back then we had the old melee and projectile systems in place.
  2. Hi I've experienced this throughout the past years and with different hardware constellations + I talked to a handful of ppl with better to high end pcs who experienced a similar occurrence. atm I'm using a R5 3600x, a gtx 1070 and 32gb RAM at generally low ingame settings and this https://imgur.com/3ID14ZW idk if this matters but I've experienced this while using display port on a 144hz and a 240hz screen as such as hdmi on a 60hz screen. From experience it does not matter if I cap the fps close to or way lower my max fps, neither lower than what I get when things are really busy on screen with unlimited fps. Once the game gets a little busy and the fps are capped ingame my screen is prone to experience micro stutters due to fps drops eitherway. This also applies to game modes where the maps and player and/or mob count are rather small and fixed. (Conclave/Index/Rathuum/etc.) I have no performance issues like that at all if I let the game run at unlimited fps (beside the heat in the summer lol). Is this a known issue that can be fixed or are there solutions to avoid it from happening?
  3. Hi been playing this game since beta launch or so and went down to almost 0 0 0 ingame settings at 400 dpi through that time for the comfort of accuracy and while upgrading my hardware. Its always been an issue for me to finding a middle ground between the mouse sensitivity of Warframe and other games. Other shooters primarily, lets say things weren't ideal. I know I'm not the only dude struggling with it, but ig not so many cba to talk about it here? So now that I don't really play Warframe that intensive anymore and increased my standard dpi by just a 100 to avoid annyoing pixel skipping in other games I stand before a Warframe dilemma many told me tales of: Now I am at 0 0 0 at 500 dpi and can't even recreate the old sensitivity I used to play like that... in a shooter game. Would be much appreciated if we could get an overhaul of that old rusty mouse sensitivity slider to be more up to date. It'll be great if we could go lower than the current 0 values for hipfire, ads and scoped ads. (which even got increased a bit before the railjack launch back then iirc) And it'll be even more awesome if we could set at least .5 values for the sake of precise shooting in a shooter game without having to rely on external software. Got any ideas on that? Like how to improve it or what the issues are that it did not happen yet?
  4. Zenith got removed quite a while ago.
  5. Welcome to the Warframe bubble where pve purist forum dwellers get narrow minded and lose any bit of reason once pvp is mentioned. Don't expect them to join a constructive conversation, they're here to make their disliking of pvp vocal for the Xs time, year for year. DE did that already when they disconnected the pvp system from the star chart. Development was slow due to not many dev(s) being involved, but stable and heading towards the right direction. But then (pre PoE launch) the content-draught-nation attacked and the dev(s) got drawn elsewhere and never returned... leaving the roadmap unchecked. What we have now is half a decade of dev neglect with very rare damage control patches. At least now we're the closest to the original iteration (which still had dev support) since PoE launch. The problems Conclave has these days are that DE neglected it long enough that the playerbase shrinked to a critically small amount and DE sees no RoI with it anymore so they leave it be and have no clue/plans about what to do with it.
  6. I remember fondly how much of a blast it was playing anihilation during early rework times when we only had the cephalon capture maps. Kinda sad most went out of the anihilation pool. (Also they used to be bigger, parts got trimmed away on some)
  7. Yea every once in a while some silly hacker appears, but usually they get identified, reported and S#&$ on real quick by the regulars due to lack of gameplay knowledge etc. You can easily identify dmg hacks via the EE.log since the dmg numbers are altered. As for aim hacks stuff like a Volt shield might become your new best friend. Its quite apparent someone is locked on to you if every bullet hits or even are headshots that consistently. There has been some false hackusations brewing up recently by newer players meeting old regulars, but there is still a clear difference in performance between someone who is using hacks and someone who is experienced in the game mode.
