  1. After my own testing, and talking with and sharing other peoples results of the Nyx rework on higher level enemies, I can absolutely say without a doubt, this is a great buff for Nyx.

Mind Controlling a Heavy gunner, pumping it with some Rubico Shots then stripping enemy armor around me and just seeing my mind control target shred them like paper is very satisfying.

However there are a few minor issues that need to be addressed.

     Passive

Seems to be 50/50 right now on if this passive even works properly. For me and my testing it most certainly does, but for others it seems to not be clear. Having better indication when this passive procs would be very helpful.

    1. Mind Control

Changes made to this ability were great, and pairs very well with psychic bolts. My only real suggestion is that Mind Controlled targets could use some quality of life, being automatically marked so we don't lose them when the A.I decides to run off and play hide and seek.

As well as Mind Controlled targets being treated as specters, so they don't hold up defense waves, again when they run off to play hide and seek sometimes.

    2. Psychic Bolts

Having the cap at 6 targets is an understandable balance move, however this ability needs to be recastable when you're not at the cap. If I use psychic bolts on 6 enemies and I kill 3 of those enemies, we should be able to recast it again and grab 3 more.

Having to kill all 6 affected enemies can be annoying at times especially when A.I likes to hide or run around the corners, it really disrupts game play and disrupts Nyxs ability to take down enemies faster.

    3. Chaos

Still a great ability. Not much to be said here really.

    4. Assimilate

This whole ability needs to be tweaked. The way the game currently plays, Assimilate is a very poor ability.

The damage is very insignificant and the ability cost is super inefficient. And the movement drawback has just no place in Warframe, unless there's a big enough pay off. The damage of this ability could use an increase, and personally the augment needs to be baseline.

    In Closing

The rework to Nyx is great and has easily brought her from what the community would call a D rank frame up to a B+ or A-.

With a few quality of life changes to Psychic Bolts and Mind Control, as well as Assimilate getting another look over Nyx will be a very strong and competitive CC frame id feel confident taking anywhere.

Her polarize and magnetic fart are both a joke-level of abilities.

Are you serious? An massive AoE ability that

    - Strips Armors

    - Strips Shields

    - Leaves fragments from enemies to increase the damage of enemies trapped in your bubble.

    - With augment also jams enemy guns and shuts down Robotics, like Mesa BUT on a wider and more powerful scale.

     - AND restores allies shields.

    Is a joke level ability?

If you're using only bubble on mag, you're playing mag wrong.

    You mean all people?

Legit go into region chat or really anywhere and make the statement "volt is as useful as volt prime".

You'll have people literally tearing and climbing over each other just to tell you that the energy max difference is a "massive deciding factor" and it will increase your survivability with quick thinking by a huge amount for level 100 content. Where in reality, level 100 content will one-hit you primed or not, and in reality there is no difference in why you even picked volt or his prime variant to begin with; you play volt for his speed buffs or his cc, none of which are different between the two. And this can be done with any frame and their primed variant.

False equivalency. No ones arguing if prime variants are superior to their non-prime versions, it's literally advertised to be that way.

What's being talked about here is how say you wanna play Nyx. You like Nyx, you like her abilities, you like her skillset, and you like her theme, she works just fine.

You'll usually be met with; "Don't play nyx, shes TRASH because Loki is better."

See the problem here? It's never a question of whats fun, or is this viable, it's always whats the best, and whats not the best is trash garbage. That's a bulk of the warframe community.

  4. Problem with PvE games, not just Warframe, is no matter what developers do to balance  or change the game, players will ALWAYS find the quickest most effective way to eat away that change.

PvE games can quickly devolve into "If it's not the best, its trash." which is a mindset a lot of Warframe players seem to have regarding the frames.

This is just as much a player made problem as it is a developer.

  5. One thing to understand about a lot of people here, is if it doesn't one shot entire maps or is able to go through walls or practically kill everything by existing, its considered a "Trash Frame."

Personally id recommend Banshee. She is a very fun and criminally underrated frame, her passive is much more useful than one would think at first. Having all your guns and weapons silenced allows you to clear entire missions without alerting enemies.

Her Sonar allows you to expose crits and hit for some of the highest damage numbers I have seen in the game when you hit them, especially paired with a good sniper like The Rubico Prime.

Lots of people call her trash because her 4 doesn't wipe out high level enemies as effective, and shes pretty squishy, but with proper use of her 3 silence and learning Trasnference and Parkour, you'll never be dying on Banshee unless you're just not great at her.

Many people are just gonna suggest whatever is killing everything with their 4 at the moment. But I say don't overlook the CC frames. You can learn the game and how it works better with those than you will DPS frames, especially if you're a new player.

  6. I think I might be losing my mind right now. Was The Zariman Suit, the default operator suit, changed?

I swear it use to be so much slimmer and cleaner, and the sleeves hang down lower and popped off a bit.

Now its very broad, and rough looking, and the sleeves connect all the way to the shoulders.

If this was changed, I just wanna say it looks way worse than before.

  7. Most if not all the enemies have the ability to tear apart anything that's not a tank frame like Rhino, the Objectives have the health pool of a level 10 mobile defense mission and these level 40-45 enemies destroy it in a matter of seconds even getting within eye sight of it.

I have never had trouble killing enemies 40+ until this mission. Not even 80+ Sortie enemies were as a tough as these guys for me.

  8. When I see people making builds for Warframes they usually focus on one specific ability and all their mods are targeted to that ONE ability.

Like Valkyrs Warcry or Hysteria, Excaliburs exalted blade. I don't see many builds that are balanced around making use of all your abilities.

Why is that? Is it simply ineffective, is it better to pour all your strength into one or what?

  9. Newish player here.

Going for Ash or Mag as the next Warframe ill level up. Should note I have managed to get my hands on all of Ash Prime.

Just wondering which of the two you think is more fun, and which would last me longer well into the late game.

  10. Hey Newish player here.

Is it a good weapon? I've been using it for a bit, and I really really love this shotgun. But I know there are stronger versions of it out there, which are all mastery rank 12, and i'm only 8.

Is it worth putting forma and time into it while I work my way to 12 and get the primed version?
