  1. Clan is currently doing the Anti-Violet Purple dye in clan research. Killed the Zanuka Hunter and it did not drop any pigment, only a Detron Barrel. Checked the wiki and confirmed that it's supposed to be a 100% drop chance from it. Was in the Helping Clem mission. Screenshot attached. Will be opening a support ticket because it has literally been months trying to get Zenuka hunter to spawn, and hopefully will get something sorted. Otherwise, I think it's a very frustrating bug.

  2. After some testing, I've noticed that the front-finisher damage of the Skiajati applies the x8 stealth bonus, rather than the x16 front-finisher bonus for all other Nikanas. I think this might be due to the weapon giving the player the invisibility buff just before the attack is executed, creating a significant damage loss. Just thought I'd post this as this may or may not be an intentional trade off for the Skiajati's invisibility buff.

  3. I understand that there must have been hundreds of threads like this one in the past. But I'm new to posting on the forums and engaging with the wider Warframe community so please bear with me and my (possibly terrible) opinions.

First, thank you for acting on the feedback threads for Nightwave Season 1. I really appreciate the front-loading of Creds, catch up mechanics, and the removal of the weekly Gilding challenge. Second, at this point, I don't think Nightwaves can be "fixed". Opinions about the system vary by personal taste. Some love the challenges, others think they're tedious. Some love the guided play, some hate having a list of weekly chores. Some even want the old Alert system back. It ultimately comes back to the balance between Player Agency, Challenge, and Rewards. Based on recent threads, I believe the loudest of complaints comes from a problem with Player Agency.

All that said, my suggestion is to have a list of pickable options for the weekly challenges. This would allow players to tailor their experience to the sort of content that they feel like doing that week. This could even be an optional list with the trade off of rewarding less reputation compared to doing the static weekly challenges. If that is too far in the direction of Player Agency, perhaps being able to "re-roll" unfavoured challenges would be a smaller step in that direction (and possibly create hilarious amounts of salt when a more unfavourable challenge is rolled).

    What are everyone's thoughts?

  4. You know what I love about Nightwave? The ability to work towards something. Sure it isn't perfect, lots of tasks are meaningless chores and I've skipped almost half of them as a result. But being able to buy essentials using creds has been a great change from the RNG that was Alerts. I have a day job, and so the chances of an alert with a reward that I need popping up during the few hours I'm home playing Warframe was slim at best. With Nightwave, I'm able to approach it at my own pace.

Not sure if I'll make it all the way to the end of the reward tree, and that sucks. But I'm glad that the system exists and that DE has applied a number of changes to address various issues. Such as front loading the currency to make it easier to access offerings and catch up mechanics so that I might be able to smash out the last ranks I need at the end of the season.

My two cents on Nightwave anyway.

  5. Have a theory but didn't believe it was enough to start a whole new thread when a Duviri Paradox thread already exists.

I was having a discussion with my wife about Nora Night. Why does she have information about everything that goes on in the galaxy? Why the special interest to base her entire broadcast to Tenno 'Dreamers'? Why can no one seem to track down the origin of her broadcasts?

What if the Nightwave Broadcasts were coming from the Zariman 10-0 out in the void? And what if Nora was just a grown up Operator telling stories of things that had already happened?

Just a thought I believed worth sharing

  6. 1,100 hours in and still loving Warframe. Just wondering if it was possible to get Mesa's Default Appearance for her Regulators usable on Mesa Prime. I realize that this might be an oversight as the Peacemakers are the only exalted weapon I can think of that has an appearance option which is overwritten by a Prime Appearance Variant.

  7. When loading into a level for the first time (in the orbiter when logging on / entering a custom obstacle course) At times Mesa Prime's Regulators revert to its original colour and model. It is fixed by accessing Mesa Prime in the Arsenal, but quite jarring when witnessed. Not an urgent problem but definitely something that needs fixing at some point

The graphical bug is featured in the following screenshots:
