  1. I had the same issue although I'm running it on Fedora. Same happened to a friend on ArchLinux. My solution worked for both of us. Open the wine configuration window, in the 'Libraries' tab select wininet and change the settings from 'native, integrated' to 'integrated, native'. If this doesn't work, then I have no idea how to fix it. If it does work, let us know as it would be useful to post the solution on the first page for everybody else having this login problem.

Kay I've tried that before and sadly that never helped me, so i did what i originally set out to do..installed Arch!

Well, somewhat. I ended up installing manjaro Linux KDE variant, with the 4.1 Kernel. Also installed the latest Wine, as Ubuntu's distro is not only behind on updates but apparently not maintained as effectively either. (running 1.7.54-1)

So, running warframe through Steam prooved, sucessful. My jaw dropped at that but it works, actually working on Arch Linux. So theres something more to the ubuntu version we aren't doing that needs to be done, is just my guess.

Also side note, I think I can live with arch linux now, its not so difficult once you get past the horrible installation process. (e.e 2 days stuck at the installer because of UEFI not ftw)

EDIT: Also side note, apparently 64bit seems to work, but again I need more testing as I've only used the intel HD 4400 to run warframe.

Lastly, other games seem to work as well o.O which didn't previously work on Ubuntu 15.04, so Perhaps Ubuntu is a distrobution worth avoiding for gaming. (Anyone gonna try steamOS?)

EDIT2: Oh, before I forget, i still get the launcher issue where it cannot be moved, however, that was only after selecting the 32bit launcher. it worked fine with the 64bit launcher, and as a bonus, not only did i not have to move/rename the launcher, but also the game fully updated to 17.11 with little issue too(just didn't show the update process sadly)

  2. warframe starting but i can't login to server, do you know how to fix?

    (photo: https://pp.vk.me/c623722/v623722700/4b9d4/cIIkgO-O_rg.jpg)

FINALLY someone has the same issue I'm having..

Uh, i feel the issue might be Ubuntu itself, lacking the ability to use openSSL/TLS and whenever I do install that from Synaptic, that error message just changes to "unable to login" like I'm blocked from doing so. I have yet to actually pass this error message, and I'm actually going to try running another distro to see if i can bypass this(seeing as many people who are running warframe aern't running it on ubuntu..)

  3. I don't know if this has been reported yet but I had a 5 man Survival on Apolodorus, and a few people ingame said they had one on a corpus map. Haven't really found out how that happens, just I happened to be the 5th player to join the match

  4. I have a video specifically for this here.

Really straight forward. It was something I don't think was listed here at all. could affect all platforms, who knows.

Also any stance will free you. If i recall in the past you weren't able to use stances prior.

Anyway, a few things. First. 80 seconds in, carrier prime(or at least mine) doesn't show health after its revived, though this might be normal, just something to address as well.

  5. So after reading this forum i actually managed to surpass the launcher, just I ran into another issue i haven't figured out.

My connection seems to be refused due to an SSL issue? http://i.imgur.com/OwkPrXd.png

    i got this error originally

err:winediag:schan_imp_init Failed to load libgnutls, secure connections will not be available.
err:winediag:SECUR32_initNTLMSP ntlm_auth was not found or is outdated. Make sure that ntlm_auth >= 3.0.25 is in your path. Usually,

And after reinstalling, I had intially a connection failure message, now the new one in the photo.

I know people on windows have had this issue but i'm rocking Xubuntu 15.04 now, so, yeah.

I can still play this game on windows if i need to just wanted to get it working on linux for tinkering purposes.

  6. Question 1:Will there be a way of knowing if we have already ranked up an item or have X number of said mod/item that we go out and grab.

    For example,

I am constantly ranking up weapons here and there. I have accidentally re-ranked up weapons I have long tossed away in the past thinking that I have not done them.

Other than looking at your profile to actually determine if you have or haven't done X weapon/frame etc Will there be a new way of telling these things.

Question 2:Will there ever be a new mini-map? Archwing is killer with the current map system..

*Not to say that the mini map is bad, just it has its limitations especially within Archwing as it cannot tell you to fly upwards or downwards to your destination leaving you to manually figure this out yourself and in some situations it can be problematic seeing as in exterminate missions the destination to the exit does not appear until you are within a certain amount of range instead of always showing.

Question 3:Will Ordis, or anyone other than The Lotus be in missions as well? I kinda liked it during the Limbo Theorem quest we have Ordis filling in during interception runs, or in the old days, Darvo filling in for Lotus during some runs which were actually quite amusing.

*Not saying that Lotus can't be there, but, Sometimes mixing it up seems interesting, at least to me.

Question 4: Not that this one is important but Will there ever be a release of Warframe to linux and/or OSX users?
