  1. Replication steps:

    1. In Orbiter, switch to Operator

    2. Switch back to Warframe

    3. Operator then becomes Drifter no matter if you have Operator or Drifter selected

Here's a video of it in action:

I'm not entirely sure what is causing this but I suspect it may have something to do with purchasing an additional Appearance Config Slot, because of the following:

The outfit the Drifter is wearing is supposed to be in slot D, but for whatever reason it's now in slot C. And slot D is now default. But whenever I switch back to my Warframe the Drifter appears again in my original slot C outfit. But upon clicking "appearance" slot C is once again overwritten by what was originally the slot D outfit.

I bought the Stynax Tonatiuh Collection and the new Voidshell collection, however the Styanax Tonatiuh Collection still shows up, and the individual pieces (Huitzilin Syandana, Nekros Voidshell Collection etc) still show up as well. Old items are also affected, such as individual items that are part of a bundle showing up even if you already bought the bundle.

  3. Bumping this up because it's still relevant, especially in regards to the new player experience. I have a friend who has just started, and I warned them the maps would change if they started the New War so now they'd decided to put it off until they've finished the old content entirely. Please make it a toggle, because not all of us are caught up to content and new folks especially will experience Fortuna and Orb Vallis for a little while, do the the New War and then can't play on the old maps again.

I believe colours are determined by the warframe, so everyones should be the same.

Oh thats cool. I always mulched default warframes (made or bought for the purpose of feeding) so never noticed.

If you'd known would you have changed their colours or still used the default?

Funny that people were mad that there's nothing exclusive other than Excalibur prime like that primed chamber "disrespecting those who grinded for it" and now an exclusive skin is bad

Still too expensive even with regional pricing with regal aya being only useful if you don't have both frost and mag prime

This may be a hot take but I'm glad they never made anything else exclusive. If they hadn't made that promise to never release Excal Prime/Skana Prime/Lato Prime I honestly would be happy if everyone else would be able to get them.

  6. As someone who has been here since 2013 and bought the Founder's pack back in the day, the reason why I've always come back to Warframe again and again even though I've left many, many other games is because it has had fair monetization (with most things able to be gotten with plat, in-game hard work and trading, or fairly reasonable prices) and—most of all for me at least—did not encourage FOMO.

After Excal Prime, DE swore they would never again release important or highly valued items that people down the line would not be able to get.

And that's what I respected about DE and Warframe—it was a light in the sea of games that rely on FOMO and other predatory practices to get people to buy NOW or rush to do content NOW, because it will go away and never come back again. Things like Prime Accessories, cosmetics in Nightwave, the items in Baro's shop, event items like the current Dog Days, all of those things you could wait a couple months, or years down the line and it'll come back, eventually. That's what I like about Warframe, and what I've always liked about Warframe. I don't need to worry if I didn't get it now, because down the line I'll probably be able to get it at some point.

I've spent a fair amount of money on this game. I've bought Prime Access, I've bought Prime Accessories, and I've bought plat and supporter packs and Tennogen items. But I don't regret a single purchase I've made purely because I was happy to support a game company that respected its player-base in regards to how it handed its real-money store.

But this time with the Heirloom pack?

It flies in the face of everything I feel that DE has stood for. It's time-limited when it's no prime access, it's not anything near equivalent of a Founder's pack (a donation to help a company keep afloat vs what feels like a blatant cash grab for one that is comfortably sailing along), it's overpriced because it's bundled with other items that many players don't want, and there's no option to buy things separately. And also released on the 10th anniversary, which should be a celebration?

It just does not feel like a pack that DE would make. I was willing to shell out money to celebrate the 10th anniversary, and I even bought the newest Prime Access before Tennocon. But to put out this kind of pack that just does not feel like something DE would do?

As someone who has loved Warframe for 10 years now, I genuinely do not want to see my favorite game company and game go down the same path as that of certain other game companies.

Please, DE, remember who you are—and remember what made you stand out from the crowd.

  7. Agree to this. I took a long break from the game, came back, did not do the Fortuna and Cetus open world stuff because everyone said I should do New War and no where did I see that it would change those maps permanently. Now that I want to go back and finish up Fortuna and Cetus, the entire atmosphere's changed and it imo, changes the entire feeling of leveling up those places. I really regret now not doing Fortuna and Cetus before New War, I was really looking forward to playing in those maps more.

I've read around and seen that if you join someone who hasn't done New War yet, you can still go to the old maps. If that is so, I'd much appreciate if DE would give us a toggle so we can play on the old maps and be able to experience Fortuna and Cetus as they were meant to be experienced—how they were before the New War released.

As you can see here, the accent metal colour for Wisp Prime is strangely more saturated/bright than other primes. Now, comparing it with the Dex skin is probably not the best because I'm guessing it has different art directions, but it's also very noticeable with just Fulmin Prime. I used the exact same metal colour for both, but Fulmin Prime's is somewhat nicer on the eyes, while Wisp Prime's is extremely saturated.

  9. Attempted to just continue the quest and see if it'd end properly, and this time it did. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I failed the "escape the orbiter" part with Ordis twice the previous time I went through (thus bringing me back to that cutscene where you wake up with the music), and the second time did not fail the "escape the orbiter" quest.

  10. Was playing solo, decided to replay the War Within so I can remind myself of the story before doing the New War and Duviri. After I completed the War Within, where the words "The War Within"  in red show up on a black screen, the game then put me back into the section where you wake up and Ordis is playing music. And then... it seems as if the game thinks that I am at that section again, because I can't quit out, looks like I have to complete it. Upon completing that section it just loads me to the next section of the story....

I have not finished the rest, because I literally just completed it and this seems to be a huge bug. Cannot exit out, at the moment it looks like the only way to get back to normal is to attempt to finish it again, but with the possibility of it once again throwing me back to the waking up and Ordis playing music section.

Here's a video showing what happened:

  11. So...my kavat keeps gaining levels after I forma'd her and used the arsenal in the dojo. The levels do not stay if I go back to the orbiter, so it appears to be simply a visual bug.

If I stand still, then she eventually starts accumulating exp until a certain point and stops leveling, but if I move so that she moves, then the cycle starts again.

Not really game breaking or anything, but an (amusing) bug nonetheless!

Should have 24 hours alerts that give creds.

There needs to be at least two ways to earn them.

There is the Index, but I suppose that's a bit difficult for new players to access at the start. Agree it would be better to have another source of credit income for new players.

So a couple weeks after posting this thread, I still am of the opinion that Nightwave should not be time-gated. For me personally, I've given up on doing Nightwave simply because even though I spent approximately 90% of my free time doing Nightwave challenges, I was still not able to do enough each week to be able to get the end reward. I've calculated. At the rate I'm going I'll be just shy of it, and honestly I'm tired of spending practically all my free time doing NW when I won't even be able to get the thing I actually want.

Instead, I'll play the event, finally get up to date in Fortuna, and ignore Nightwave completely. Not sure that was DE's intention, but the way its currently set up with the time gate is really too punishing for players with little daily time.

  13. First of all, after finishing the Fortuna quest I had no idea that I even had a K-Drive. There was no inbox message or anything telling me I'd got one. This led to me running around looking for the Vent Kids and trying to buy a K-Drive from them only to realize I needed to have K-Drive points to be able to buy a K-Drive...

Secondly, it would be good to have a tutorial showing players the mechanics of using a K-Drive. To this day, I still do not know how to get off the thing without doing a trick and wiping on the ground.
