  1. With the new Umbra augment, I have a feeling like we'll be seeing more people running Excalibur in late/end game content. Without reiterating the whole thread, enabling Radial Javelin to be powerful again by simply making it a pseudo-exalted would be the best way to provide Exalted Blade and/or stat stick builds with a capable AoE. The topic of dramatically unbalanced AoE between several Warframes has come back up with the LoS adjustments/reversions, a place where Radial Javelin was years ago before its massive nerf.
  2. I honestly haven't read any of the modifiers before jumping into it, figuring out my build isn't capable of it, adjusting the build, then getting either 34 or 37 research accordingly. Usually that involved being unable to maintain energy for Excalibur. You don't need to be offered either of those to use them for a 34 research run. There's practically little reason to go for the full 37 research each week, so you're free to use one equipment of your choosing. That's been enough flexibility for most people I know who've done 34 research every week and 37 once for the special reward, including myself. No operator? Sounds like Inaros substitution is perfect. The probability of you having 9 useless weapons available is so small, even then, just subsume a useful ability onto Inaros like Tempest Barrage to get great AoE damage on armor stripped enemies. Also noting that these are designed to be done with an organized group, having that whole warning before you enter. If there's somewhere that's lacking because of modifiers, then use teamwork to compensate. To reiterate again to the dead horses, its design to be challenging, its also designed for team play, so coordinating between build options if you're doing a full 4x 37 research run.
  3. Just play Inaros/Nidus or use operator immunities.
  4. Aaaaaaaaand another one of those individuals who complains about how hard something is and how it should be easier, for it to become trivialized so they can then come back on the forums and complain about how easy it is now. The whole point is to have fun not for meaningless digital 'rewards' in a videogame. If you don't enjoy the content, then don't play it. I'm not trying to convince anyone that its normal or not, its simply how it is. DE designed EDA to be challenging and random, so if you're not good enough to compensate for that, then accept lesser rewards. Not to say EDA at 37 research is particularly difficult, but it is a challenge, one of few in this game.
  5. You don't have to get the full research, you can go in with no modifiers and your own gear and get less rewards. Hell, you don't even have to do it. Its a challenge and is forcing me to usually use something other than Excalibur, so it gets a pass. I'd honestly wish they'd add those modifiers to SP that'll do something cool. I want something higher than Steel Path at this point, but if just adding personal modifiers like EDA has for another 25-50% affinity/resource/mod or whatever would be great. Have them rotate weekly just like EDA, hell, maybe even make them the same modifiers so you can test/practice the builds in SP before you jump into EDA.
  6. Honestly, I think it would be best if they just gave us a 'Incarnon Form' toggle, similar to how it works on Prime Warframes when using other skins. Toggling 'Incarnon Form' off wouldn't change the appearance and therefore wouldn't override the skin when incarnon form procs. Having it on would just let it work how it currently works. I'd like that option since Dual Ichor bugs out like crazy when it incarnons visually. I'd rather just toggle off the visual enhancements during incarnon so it stays normal the whole time.
  7. You do 37 research once for the eyeball thing then just do 34 each week. That gives you the option of one equipment choice of flexibility to still get the actually good rewards. If that's too much for you, then just use your kit as normal and get less rewards. Nothing is forcing you to go for 37 research every week.
  8. Void Flood, sometimes you don't get enough plasm drops to even do the objective. I have it happen quite often in Void Cascade where the whole squad has 10/10 but yet still no one cracks a relic. Its almost as if we're doing it too fast even with enough reactant. This has happened pre buff and post buff.
  9. The way I see it, if other Warframes like Excalibur has sufficient AOE damage with something like Radial Javelin, the complaints about how OP Saryn is would be mitigated. The best and simplest way I can think to make that occur is to make Radial Javelin a pseudo-exalted, being a Warframe everyone gets for free that also had a power melee weapon available in form of Exalted Blade. No need for crazy stat sticks to make a pseudo-exalted powerful if you also have an Exalted weapon.
  10. Sounds like a bug, not being able to buy the stalker pack having the pallette.
  11. How about we compromise, make no changes to Saryn and just make Radial Javelin a pseudo-exalted instead.
  12. I think the only change they could make is bumping up dispo for new weapons a lot faster than they do. There's some that still have low disposition that would make them far more viable. One I can think of is the Syam, which still has a relatively low dispo yet I doubt its used that often. I think Incarnons are so wildly OP with their high dispo, bumping up something like the Syam or Ghoulsaw's dispo wouldn't break or harm the game at all.
  13. Regardless of DE's initial intent, riven mods are just a player retention strategy, and a well-designed one. Its an endless source of content for people like me who've spent over a decade playing. There's not a single scenario I can think of where a riven is required to complete something, so they're simply extra content that can either be easy platinum or an RNG dopamine hit. You can either participate in the riven rolling/trading market, or just sell all your rivens veiled for easy platinum. There's nothing forcing you to use rivens in the game. I personally think the system works great in its current state. There's a healthy variety of ways to obtain rivens and the kuva to reroll them. The RNG behind rerolling them can suck sometimes, but that's just how RNG works.
  14. Are you not able to buy the Stalker's weapon pack? There's also Stalker Beacons you can get from Baro.
