  1. Found two mods that are...broken: Snap shot and Spry sight. I went to Tenshin and it wasn't appearing in his inventory neither.

Also, found that Broad eye doesn't have a description

  2. Greedy Pull doesn't help with the grind. You just press a button because you're too lazy to go get the resources that dropped by walking there yourself.^^'

Pilfering Swarm helps farming resources, not parts. It doesn't reduce the grind for parts. Which is the "main" grind in the game, the thing that has people riled up.

Resources are, for the most part, very easy to get. The same cannot be said for Void droptables. You don't see people screaming that nanospores and control modules are a grind, do you?

If their wallet wasn't among their main concerns, they would have a grave problem. Like I stated before, it's just smart business, I'm not saying DE's evil and greedy, at least not more than the average. And I say they are business smart. Enough for their customers anyway.

I would like to see how many people actually buy ressources from market lol. I know that neural sensors are a pain in the butt.

  3. Thing is- they DON'T nerf. They BALANCE. We ARE the test server, the game is in beta, every second we play we are experiencing stuff that is not final and is subject to feedback. There is a forum section dedicated to this that you're welcome to give your opinions in at any time (that we are in)- and that is why stuff gets changed. DE changes stuff based on PUBLIC OPINION- you just happen to be part of the (very) vocal minority that was on the other side of the fence about the issues.

Hotfixes are a waste of money? Wh- I don't even... So... fixing the game so players do not rage quit from all the bugs is a waste of money? Uh huh. Right. You're 100% right about that. Your logic is absolutely flawless.

You'll quit if they keep doing what most people want? Welp, I guess it sucks that you don't enjoy the game. Wish you the best in finding something that has devs that are even half as good as DE and a game you can manage to enjoy. You seem to enjoy the repetitive farming play styles that greedy mag and pilfering swarm promote, and there's a lot of games out there that do that so I'm sure you won't have too much of an issue finding one.

As I said earlier, I feel like they removing rather than balancing. If they were balancing, the squads would've been a rather homogenous mix of warframes (looking at missions globally) which is sadly not the case. DE should find a balance between having brainstorm sessions and reading forum. Democracy is not always the solution imo. The problem about this ''beta'' server is that there are people that spend platinum (real money) to have formas and having nerfs means they have spend more because it messes their loadouts. It's like paying for someone else's mistake. No?

hotfix for fixing bugs? You're right. As for nerfing, there was like a nerf every week this summer. The guy who has to spend time adjusting the parameters could fix bugs instead of relentlessly "balancing" things. Poorly managed ressources is wasted money.

I hate farming. I disagree with constant nerfing instead of bringing fun through more dynamic gameplay.

  4. Addressing only my post, it was specifically in response to something you listed as an example of DE taking away fun. GPull wasn't fun. You said nothing about how it was nerfed and only listed it. I did the same in my response.

This is valuable feedback with solutions, and something I agree with.

Freedom of speech protects your right to not be silenced by the government. It doesn't mean people can't react negatively to what you say. It doesn't mean you can't face repercussions for what you say.

Asking questions doesn't offend me. Not even the question you used in the title, because I assume you don't think DE sits around and says "let's destroy fun", but instead just as a hook. But I will point out things I disagree with, like listing GPull with "fun" things taken away.

Yes I listed gmag and the problem is why is there a list in the first place. From my point of view, they're not balancing, they are removing. If the nerfs were balanced, we would still ppl see bring Mag in missions. I'm pretty sure I see one mag in every 50 mission or so and that's mostly because the players took her as a starting frame.

Reacting negatively and attacking people are different things. complaining and to belittle someone are different things. I totally accept people that disagree with me and I want to see their counterarguments.

Gmag wasn't fun even to begin with. I agree. Why didn't they tweak it instead? I love Mag but why don't they make her augment somewhat fun and useful in the first place? I feel they rush things most of the time.

  5. Hello,

I have a big collection of mods and everytime I have to mod my weapons/sentinel weapons, well it's a pain in the ****. Is it possible to mark the mods that are already equiped and on what they're equiped.

The conflict resolution logic messed up lots of my loadouts....

  6. IMO a Greedy Mag used as a Carrier for a Mesa, was not fun, neither was a Pyldroid, which I definitely used for farming, nor being paired with a Exalted Blade only Excal.

    Perceptions I guess.

I can't take you seriously if you say DE wants to take fun away, then use GPull as an example.

You know... I have seen what OP content does to game. Check League of Legends from time when Darius and Rengar champions where released. Believe me. THEY RUINED the game for several weeks until they were balanced.

Do you now understand why things needs to be balanced? Oh and be glad. Trinity got to keep her skirt together from nerf hammer.

Of course DE doesn't want to take the fun away. Good lord people. So Melodramatic.

    No cooldowns. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ever.

Yes, challenge is fun. Thinking and using your agility is fun. But what you are complaining about them taking out does the EXACT opposite. It makes people mindless sacks of meat that sit in a corner pressing a button repeatedly. You are contradicting yourself now.

Also to reply to your OP's last statement. The only thing I get sick of and I want to "quit" is seeing the endless droves of nonsensical complaint posts... like this one.

They still do. They definitly don't aim to but thats the result....theyr mindless conquest for profit made them blind to theyr own game a long time ago.

Gmag is no fun? At what point is running circles in a T4 Defense fun that takes 50(!) Minutes till like w20 any fun? Fighting a high quantity of weaklings that spawn one by one...

Did the nerf change anything? S#&$ litteraly pulled dropps to you. Nothing else.

All DE does is reacting to frustrated people who stopped having fun a long time ago. They "fix" stuff for them instead of, ya know, creating syergy, reworking the broken core of the game itself.

I brought this up before..evrything that seems "broken" or "op" comes down to the enemys. The mayor difference between Warframe and other mmos is that other games balance theyr classes over the enemy types. Aoe classes work on crouds but they are useless against a small quantity of bulky enemys. Frames like saryn, mesa and even excal now shine in this type of mission. Thing is, it makes them op that thers nothing else. Gmag who pulled loot to support these frames definitly wasn't the problem... neather are mentioned frames.

DE might not want to take the fun away, but when people have to grind the same mission 30+ times for a prime part because of their own terrible RNG system then they only have themselves to blame when they're accused of that.

Complain about things you don't like all you want. But phrasing your feedback as "the devs are mean and trying to make my game experience not fun" is totally counter-productive. They aren't going to listen to that, because it's just whining.

Of course they will make plenty of decisions that accidentally anger people, or decisions they think they need to make (whether we agree they need to make them) that they know will anger people.

It's our job to provide respectful feedback when anything is changed. But to suggest they don't want their customers to enjoy the game is just silly and comes close to dev bashing again. It comes back to making personal attacks on the devs whenever they don't do exactly what certain extremely loud players want -- loud players who are a small minority, but think they ARE the player base.

Sometimes I don't like the decisions they make, and sometimes I wish they would move on things quicker and sometimes the way they do things is disappointing. However, I never forget that of course they want us to have fun, but if we are going to keep having fun playing Warframe for a long time, it needs to be balanced.

Feel free to dislike the way they balance stuff, but remember they are trying to make decisions for the long term health of the game and of course they want us to be happy... why wouldn't they?

My point was not about what they nerf, it's about HOW they nerf. Why don't they make a test server where people can test ideas and give feedbacks. There are games who does that and I don't see why it would be a bad idea in Warframe. Hotfixes every two day or so is a big waste of money for the company and that money could be invested elsewhere.

YES I will quit this game IF the trend of the past months continue and YES I know they don't care about one player leaving. I thought I had freedom of speech on the internet :V

If you guys see my post as a complain, it's ok. For those have done some philosophical work in their past, I would like you to see this post as my critique and I wanted to people to bring ideas instead of attacking others without being constructive at all which is sadly the case. Does asking questions offend you?

  7. because nerfing mag wasnt about the short term it was a loong term nerf that kind of farming is dull and boring you should be playing the game not all pressing 4 buttons as a team to win.

the excaliber nerf is actually okay as its not like its weak or anything it just isnt as strong as it was. the dual cleaver mod and covert lethality type nerfs were warrented

Archwing is by far the most fun thing i played in this game because it isnt the normal game i have been playing for 2ish years a nerf to the eletron isnt the end of the world personally never liked it anyways only the odanata and itzal are my kinda archwing and what you said makes little sense now the people who play achwing will migrate towards itzal only making the odanata and eletron users completly useless? :/

yeah there are underaged children playing this game (like i once was) but that doesnt mean they compulsively rage posting like you kinda are. most of them are to busy looking at pretty lights( i know im evil >:3).

if they leave then so be it whatever direction the game takes some poeple will follow it praise it and (give dem de monies :3) show thier support

Mag could be a support frame like being able to pull items that are only LoS or maybe cut the distance by half.

The nerf about excal is that they're constantly removing and adding stuff. I don't use him personally and I don't care much personally but people who used formas on him (me included) are kinda getting tired of redoing his loadout over and over again.

About Elytron...because the nuke is so useful? Instead of nerfing stuff to a point that makes ABSOLUTELY no sense, how about doing an update where people are like "that's not a bad idea". They need to add some synergy between archwings like they do with the frames.

As for the last part, if you insist of using sophism against me, I might as well retaliate. What is compulsive about my post? If it was compulsive, I would make a post of every single nerf they did. Here, I'm just talking about where this game is going from my hours of gameplay over the last two years by considering the major "fixes" over the past few months. If you don't understand the meaning of the post, please do not attack the others with such immature behavior.

Forums are almost always a toxic place and the Warframe forum is no exception. Always paying attention to the forum will do this to you. Causing such erm... strange posts. They make it their goal to have us enjoy the game. Theres not much you can buy in the game that will push you forward unless you are buying maxed mods. But even then you can just farm for that its not hard to max one or two or ten. They release new stuff so there is variety, im sure the folks who like Elytron and like being tanky will continue to use it. I feel ya on the Hydroid thing since he wasn't spectacular beforehand, but for the most part the game functions well enough to accomplish what it wants to do. And that is to be an MMO Action game.

They add new stuff but 99% of the weapons are MR fodder. Why the Devs spends hours to create a new weapon that will be leveled in 30 min then tossed away? Why don't they make some weapons more useful in certain situations? If they believe this way of work is fine and that I'm stupid, then I might as well point that those hours wasted by them could be used to fix the bugs and tweaking on currently available items. Personally, If you have press E like a maniac and consider it action... I dunno. There is not enough challenge that requires player's dexterity to call it action.

If by fun you mean removing stuff that invites you to exploit/feel like an undying god with a single click, then yes.

I didn't say that I agree with all their decisions, but sometimes that is really justified... (like the recent covert lethality thang : it shouldn't work out of stealth! And while we're at it,they need to fix stealth too)

What I'm saying is that they're just removing aspects of frames that makes them somewhat useful instead of improving overall usefulness of the frames (i.e. working not only on the balance between frames but between each ability of each frame) Adding cooldowns would be a rational idea don't you think?

    Oh look, this thread again.

    They didn't nerf Mag.

    They didn't nerf Hydroid.

    They didn't nerf Eleytron.

    They definitely didn't nerf Excalibur.

Oh but wait. These are my opinions. Something I hold dear to myself, and myself only. The same could be said for others with differentiation; however I would never implore others to obey my will, and typically I don't care for others'.

You said it yourself, it's about balancing a piece of equipment. Excalibur's mod limitation came from controversy derived from a one-hit-kill mod augmenting Exalted Blade. Sound balance? I assure you a lot of people stated otherwise. This change creates consistency for future purposes so DE doesn't have to twiddle their thumbs about which mods to blacklist from Exalted Blade just because it would be overpowered once more.

As I replied, I don't care about what they nerf, it's about how they nerf. I agree that EB doing 1hit kills is stupid but why was it there in the first place?

As for hydroid, being able to narrow the radius of the tentacles was quite useful to block doors but now...it's S#&$. Elytron didn't get nerfed? Because a cap of 4 thumpers makes totally sense!

    OP =/= Fun

True but something that doesn't make absolutely no sense is fun? C'mon...It's like watching a movie filled with mistakes and saying at the end that the movie was flawless. Fun is challenge, Fun is asking the players to think, to use their agility as gamers.

  8. Been wondering... do they want the players to enjoy the gameplay of warframe or they have the same politics as Comcast? Why did they nerf greedy Mag? Why did they nerf Hydroid? Why did they nerf Elytron? Why did they nerf Excalibur? Do they want the players to have the majority of the player to play only with the least worst warfame/archwing?

People paid money/farmed to have Elytron which was kinda fun to use in high level archwing missions... now we will have only missions with Itzal preventing people without a good clan to have fun in high level missions. YES most people hate archwing and now it's even worse. Good job.

Excalibur was fun but nerfing the warframe that represents WF for the xxx time...c'mon.

From my point of view,I feel like the developpers spend too much time in the office reading forums instead of playing the game with the players and finding the flaws. Nerfing should be about balancing one piece of equipment with other of the same category so that players have to choose which fits best for a certain situation.

If this continues, the players will get tired of this crap and leave.
