    • TYPE: Gameplay
    • DESCRIPTION: Vauban's fourth ability Bastile is behaving strangely. Enemies do not get suck together in the vortex but instead becomes struck to the ground in place.
    • REPRODUCTION: Equip Vauban in lockout, enter any mission, cast Bastile
    • EXPECTED RESULT: Enemies do get suck together in the vortex by Vauban's fourth ability Bastile
    • OBSERVED RESULT: Enemies are struck to the ground in place by Vauban's fourth ability Bastile
    • REPRODUCTION RATE: Every single time

Shields of Shadows isn't a mod even worth using. You get plenty of damage reduction for just a single Arcane Guardian, Health Conversion and Adaptation.

Adaptation over Shield of Shadows is perfectly fine for normal play. Arguably you would not need Adaptation or Shield of Shadows in normal play anyway.

However Shield of Shadows takes over at high level because Adaptation does not save you from knockdown or instant kill damage.

Sadly I'm pretty sure he's just going to be a lootbot for the rest of time.

    ...Just like Hydroid.

I think it is fine for a frame to just does something very well and other things reasonably decently.

Not every frame can be the S tier frame.

This would ruin every single desecrate tank build out there since Overextended gives so much range for just a single mod slot.

A tank will have 214 power strength to get 90% damage reduction from Shield of Shadows.

A necro with low power strength using overextended is not a tank, and have the mod slot flexibility to easily make up for the power strength (umbra).

A dedicated farming nekros will benefit greatly.

  4. I think it is time for my favorite Edgelord to get some upgrades.

    Passive

Old Passive: Restore 5 Health with every enemy death within 10m

New Passive: Restore 5 points of Health to yourself and all allies within 30m, any time an enemy dies within 30m

Why: Sharing is caring. 10m is too much of a joke

    Ability 1

Old Soul Punch: Waste 25 energy

New Soul Punch: Target non-boss dies

Why: Because instantly killing a trash mob is perfect fine in a game where some frames can kill the whole map in a single button push

    Ability 2

Old Terrify: Make your killing slower at the cost of 75 energy

New Terrify: Toggle ability at 5 drain per second. Enemies are slowed by 80% and their amour is reduced by 5/10/15/20% while in 5/10/12/15m range.

Why: Because abilities that scatter your enemies is always stupid

    Ability 3

Old Desecrate: It is mostly fine except that Khora is so much more powerful in terms of combat/CC ability and has +65% loot while loot daddy is still at 54%.

New Desecrate: New version is now affected by Power Strength

Why: Because if Khora is much better at fighting, then Nekros should at least be better at looting if you invest in power strength

    Ability 4

Shadows Of The Dead: It is fine. No change.

  5. Naramon, Power Spike

Expected Function: Melee Combo Counter now decays while out of combat by 20 / 15 / 10 / 5 every few seconds, instead of depleting completely.

Actual: Melee Combo Counter depletes completely with Naramon, Power Spike equipped.

  6. Melee is not ready. Many bugs/issues.

    1. If equipped with only melee weapon, you cannot use scanner or mine. ☹️

    2. Channel is a toggle, making it awkward for using life strike. 😥

Suggest we go back to old melee and rework from there.

Ability to quickly switch melee and gun isn't really worth the lost of other functions.

  7. Don't trade huge amounts of plat as it may become flagged as suspicious activity. Especially if one side is handing out 1k plat for a fish.

Gifting is a slightly less dubious action but I also wouldn't suggest you do large sums of transactions either. Maybe a 30 day resource booster a month would be somewhat reasonable and goes a long way to helping your progression.

  8. You buy debt bonds to sacifice for ranking up if you are unlucky with your bounties. Other than that function, debt bonds isn't really a good source of standing by itself. Either mine or fish or bounty until you get kubrodon lures.

Once you get kubrodon lures and bait, you can get 8k standing for 2 mins of work and complete a 27k cap in 5-6 mins. That is the absolute fastest way to complete your daily standing cap and I love it.

The other option is to just repeatly farm profit taker as he also gives a princely sum of debt bonds. About 4-5 profit takers a day is enough to cover a 27K cap for solaris and vox.

  9. One question to the naysayers, what is your alternative plan?

I meant DE is going to release new "harder" content at some point right?

So would you rather just that they reuse existing mobs scaled up? Or make new models and buff them with higher damage and HP and call it a day?

So do you want real difficulty or fake difficulty?

You specifically pointed out that these enemies would only appear in 60+ missions which means you would almost never see them in Starchart missions. Honestly, that's out of the reach of low MR Players unless you consider anyone below 20 to be low.

In the end though, all these does is enforce the meta since instead of dealing with their mechanics that would likely one-shot you in those levels, you could just repeatedly mash CC abilities to keep them disabled for an eternity while you slowly chip away at them or just flat out ignore them and rush for the objective. I don't see why we would prioritize making the game harder for everyone outside the meta while keeping the game braindead easy within the meta.

I have seen MR5 in sorties. Probably a smurf. MR10 is fairly common.

Endless missions can go above 60 level in 4-8 cycles.

Bounties in POE/Fortuna can go above to 60 level.

    Kuva Flood.

Anyways, i have never seen any meta outside of Eidolon. In most missions, everyone just plays whatever they fancy.

  11. The new enemies do not have to be overpowered as they are only meant to be normal mobs with a gimmick.

It is totally fine if some players can mow them down without even noticing their gimmick.

Remember that there will be low MR players who will have to start paying attention to them. Or players leveling gear/warframe and don't have optimum build all the time.

With level scaling in endless missions or arbitration or sorties or future raids, their gimmicks will eventually give even the most harden veteran pause.

  12. This is a thread where we suggest ideas for enemies with better skills and engaging gameplay. (Not just knock you back ... alot)

    - not really bosses, just regular mobs with more tricks

    - should only appear in higher level (60+) missions

    - higher chance to drop rare rare resource

    Some Ideas:

    1. Brood Grandmother

    - very high HP and low attack.

    - SKILL: Eats nearby corpses to give basically revive them as -10 level versions of the original

    - if manages to eat a player corpse, summons a dangerous spector version of player!!!

    - COUNTER: Nekros 😛

    2. Bombard Commander

    - high armor and attack

    - SKILL: charge for 3 seconds in midair, becoming highly visible. If not interrupted/killed in time, unleashes a steam of high damage bombard rockets covering 30m radius.

    - COUNTER: CC skills, operator void mode if can't cancel his skill in time.

    3. Berserk XXX

    - Enemy types prefixed with  Berserk deal 10% more damage and move 10% faster for each 10% health they lose

    - COUNTER: Singleshot kills

    4. Sniper

    - very high attack

    - once alerted will cloak immediately and is almost invisible to players (watery effects similar to lok)

    - does not show up on mini-map!!!

    - deals high sniper damage after charging for 3 seconds uninterrupted

    - COUNTER: sneak kill or sleep or mass CC or operator void mode

    5. Brute XXX

    - Enemy types prefixed with Brute takes only half damage and becomes immune to status effects after losing more than 50% of their health

    - COUNTER: Singleshot kills

    Bonus:

    6. Maroo's stupid brother

    - rare encounter

    - always starts invisible and knocks you down from out of nowhere

    - then he becomes visible and runs away at high speed

    - you will lose 10% of your credits, capped at 100k

    - if you beat him up, he will return you double the amount of the credits stolen, capped at 200k

    - COUNTER: already spend all your credits on h😍😍kers

  13. I don't quite understand the point of playing an 1 hour capture mission. It feels like killing mobs for free?

Survival is a far better way to farm exp and rewards if you just want to keep killing mobs.

I mean, if you can't do one hour of scaling enemy, then just do 20 mins three times. Or get into a group for endless runs.

The total rewards of 3x20 mins is going to be far better than one 1 hr capture mission.
