  1. Bungie is on the verge of implosion. If you don't fumble this, you're gonna be eating well in the mid to long term future, DE. This message was brought to you by "Completely separate story quests from star chart progression" Gang
  2. That thread is a mishmash of several other threads on the topic. Mods merged them all at some point. Perhaps in another thread someone suggested co-op and people focused on that. I remember during the devstream Pablo saying something like "making some story quests co-op may not be possible". Maybe they were discussing that.
  3. Seperate 👏Story quests 👏from Star Chart 👏 My suggestion from the unofficial feedback thread:
  4. Exactly! Quest-Star Chart Decoupling is the solution. Make the quest menu similar to Destiny 2's "Timeline" chart where each quest's setting is briefly explained, and in between there would be summaries of major one-off events like Scarlet Spear and other "operations"... Then people can pick and play whatever they want from that menu. As per item prerequisites: If you do not own a Necramech, Railjack, amp etc., you are gonna have to play with a generic one provided by the game. Similar to "Snake" from the Deimos quest... That should be it.
  5. Because I might be leveling up weapons/frames and didn't bother potatoing them? Furthermore (I am MR30+ so this is a non-issue for me, but) a lot of players will have a reduced mod capacity so they cannot make any SP viable build from the get-go, and they may find themselves in a SP void fissure with a loadout they filled with weapons they wanted to level up. I mean this is not a life & death situation, I am just giving a feedback about a QoL issue with the game's UI.
  6. I explain why it's a problem literally in the next sentence:
  7. Ever since Duviri came out, I started to spend more time in Steel Path due to The Circuit. However, the amount of time I find myself accidentally drop into a Steel Path mission because I forgot to turn off the small toggle before I logout has become alarmingly high. I wouldn't mind this honestly if it wasn't the fact that sometimes I find myself as the host of a fissure mission with a terribly sub-optimal loadout. Perhaps a red filter instead of the regular Star Chart's blue-ish hue..? Or a screen border that says "Steel Path" continuously, like a crime scene tape..? Thanks anyway...
