[Why doesn't Shock Trooper apply to Volt's Abilities?]

There is no where that an augment is specific for just weapons. Volt suffers from damage and while he has a nice passive he doesnt scale at all. All i am saying is if this augment is essentially a boost.....Thinking of injecting electricity into your veins.. Then why doesn't it affect his own abilities. If it did this instead of doing a rework for the man which necessarily isnt needed you give him a better Quality of Life update from a simple augment that be amazing. Be like saryns augment that causes corrosive at least you get somethign i guess.

Shock Trooper is a Warframe Augment Mod for  Volt that allows  Shock to be held on cast, creating a wave of energy traveling outward from the user that temporarily grants the caster and nearby allies additional  Electricity damage to all attacks.  

It specifies "All Attacks" but does not apply to his abilities specifically his offensive abilities( Shock and Overcharge). I have gone into the Simulacrum. I attempted to increase the power strength purely and try with and without the effect and saw no difference. This has such potential at least in regards to some sort of scale in my opinion when it comes to volt and his abilities actually doing damage. Granted Electricity isn't viral, heat, or corrosive. But at least if we are going for some sort of ability strength build or concept it would give those increases to damage.

Example:

Having 200 ability strength, for example, at least doubles volts damage in theory. Because it will be 200% additive damage increase. So his overcharge would do double tick damage.

Just a thought. I know its not substantial, but it be something. This would in theory without using some sort of means to take off armor still scale poorly, but at least it still be better then it is now even if its minuscule vs lets say lvl 170 enemies. Also maybe have it add the actual Electric damage to Volt. ie Overcharge actually applies a electric proc upon ticking on enemy. This will help immensily and just Overall Quality of Life change for Volt.

Then dont play nightwave if all you gonna do is complain. They make the mods to try and do new builds. Some people like cosmetics for cosmetics. Bad attitude.
